It integrates with my website ui and does the job. #### Cons In the last year I had some major bugs- especiialy with the automated reminders. Some of the clients reported bugs while trying book new appointments and lots of time I had to manually doing client bookings. I can say that the support team really tried to be helpful, but unfortunately I decided to move to another solution. As a Dutch business, the iDEAL integration was a big reason for choosing Amelia, so I’m very happy they support it. Great balance between ease of use and advanced functionality. Perfect for both appointments and events. #### Cons The PDF invoice layout cannot currently be customized, which would be useful for businesses that want invoices to match their branding. The invoice does not include the event date(s), making invoices less complete for workshops, trainings and retreats. It would be great to have a shortcode that immediately displays the contact information form for a preselected event, instead of asking customers to select an event that's already fixed. They’re not an “instant reply 24/7” service, especially outside weekdays, but when they do respond it’s clear they’ve actually read the question. The answers are thoughtful, they try to solve the problem properly, and when something isn’t part of the product direction they explain the reasoning rather than fobbing you off. Because it’s a feature-heavy plugin, I’ve ended up doing a bit of fine-tuning with PHP/CSS (sometimes using AI tools to speed things up). That hasn’t bothered me — in my experience with more advanced software, a little tailoring is normal if you want everything exactly right. I also understand from my own time working in software (I spent 18 months at Oracle as an associate software engineer) that complex products always have a backlog, and that new releases can occasionally introduce unexpected issues. What matters is whether the team keeps improving, listens to users, and stands behind the product — and that’s been my experience here. They have only thought about the platform from a platform perspective and have not thought about the actual use case. I have been impressed with the depth of this plugin from day one and I'm building my digital assets around this plugin. I have spent time with the documentation, which is very detailed ( I build websites-my plan is to build environments where I and other independent contractors can work remotely and virtually) and this is very important. I've I have searched and tested more than 14 different booking appointment systems before decide for Amelia. I didn't find in any other booking appointmen system what Amelia does. Amelia can be integrated with WooCommerce so we can add lots of different payment types on the system. On the lastest release of Amelia, it is possible to change status of the appointments based on WooCommerce payment status, this is integration is amazing because it will only add to your calendar paid appointments and it also integrates with your Google calendar. We had some minor issues with some configurations which I've contacted Amelia's support several times and they were so helful in all our requestments helping to solve all my questions. I really had issues for a while and if I didn't have a back up internetsite my business would have been in much trouble. The best solution it seemed was to rebuild my internetsite from scratch (and later also the second one). And yes, there are no issues anymore. So it could be that the releases during this last year already made it more stable? The scheduling, payment, emails, Zoom-integration it is really a lot and is nicely integrated. Next to that it is easy to customise and it is affordable. Also throughout the last year the functionality grew, which is great! #### Cons The moment I implemented the software my site broke down. Now this wasn't the worst for me, because I had two sites. Though the issue stayed for weeks. I had a lot of communication with the service department, provider and theme developer. In the end I don't know where the actual issue was: the database version, an underdeveloped theme or Amelia? For sure it was a combination. I guess Amelia is built on the latest versions of wordpress and databases. If there is a tip: be aware of this. Nevertheless I am now very happy with the working of the software. It helped my client a lot, increased its sales in about 10x. The option for "Any Employee" is crucial. Its design is really good too. #### Cons Its design is good, but could use some improvement in the booking form for package option. Selecting multiple employees in package form would be great! Also, in the general booking form, when you enable the package option, it comes in a way that confuses the users.
