Great program for 2D drawing and sketching and fine for 3D drawing, especially if you are a budget-conscious user.

The functionalities and the good interoperability with other corel softwares.

Autocad is the most used cad software and the fact that I have some problems when loading autocad files on corel cad and visceversa is terrible.

We deign alot of things through corel like the business cards, flyer, brochure, folders of the company.

CorelCAD is the most wonderful product of creating vector images and graphics.

It is the best alternative of AutoCAD. It s quit easy to use and learn its programming.

Also very hard to master and I've found a lack of help  resources online ,compared to other ,similar programs.

I can hardly find any flaws in this software. Most of the people are not familiar with this software due to which people have to face difficulties in collaborating with consultants.

The fact that I have found so many compatibility problems with autocad has been really a downside for me, even though corelcad is cheaper this was a big issue.

I love CorelCAD's ability to let you quickly and easily sketch out a mechanical idea or instrument layout. The interface is intuitive and very customizable.

It consists of very powerful tools that is very easy to learn by any software engineers. One of the most interesting features of this software includes the ability to victories an image.

Corel web sign is none informative. And the sales reps are hard to understand.

CorelCAD makes your graphics come to live. The ability to vizualize your projects in 3D  helps you determine what you need to do to make the designs absolutely to your liking.

CorelCAD is a good choice for architects, engineers and other CAD professionals because of its price, extensive compatibility and productivity.

Great price but no online community or knowledge base for support when things aren't working right.

It gives you access to save your file in lot of format like jpeg, pdf, eps etc. It also helps you save your file in different resolution.

In terms of treatment it does not leave any bad touch, it deals with dealing with the client as should be, giving the attention and resolving every doubt or inconvenience that is presented.

It can crash a lot and make your computer really slow.

It is also a problem when you are having problems using the software. There is no significant user community online that has solutions to problems posted for others to learn from.

I love this software when vector graphics is in the title. I think this is the most amazing product to create vector images and graphics.

I have the 2019 version that it now crashes a few seconds after being launched. I tried running trouble shooters with no success and it's quite frustration to the point that I need to quit trying.

Corel does a good job designing it in a way that allows you to have some flexibility in how you see the image and what you can do with it.

Also given the fact that the most commonly used CAD software is autocad and that importing a project from said program to corelcad ussually is problematic this is a huge downside.

I would recommend this software to other architecture and interior design firms.

As an Architect + Planner + Interior Architect & Designer. Having the ‘Verticle Market’ solutions available like Vectorworks ‘Architect’ & ‘Designer’ is so very valuable.

When we factor in money, easy answer VectorWorks. We are a full BIM FIRM and VECTORWORKS does everything we need.

And the built in rendering tools are awesome as well, the result is more than enough to be used for project presentation.

We are finding now that some of our consultants are now using the software therefore the sharing of files is extremely easy. BUT the exporting of files to AutoCad are great too.

This is a pain as when it is needed across the office the dongle has to be physically passed over. We would prefer an online based license moving system.

Because of the limited use of this program in some markets, collaborating with others can be difficult.

It's safe to say VectorWorks is at the top of their game when it comes to architectural design.

And for BIM, it is hard to justify not using the industry standard software. So where is the edge for Vectorworks.

We take advantage of the software’s BIM capabilities to generate elevations, schedules, and smart tags. This program is visually appealing and easy to navigate.

We use this software for early concept design as it simple and easy to use and produces beautiful concept plans and elevations.

We love this software for early concept design. The squiggly line affect means we can produce production quality drawings with ease that do not scare clients in the way a technical drawing would.

Has had issues with iOS updates in the past and time has been wasted waiting for patches. Very occasionally crashes for bizarre reasons.

The only downside of Vectorworks is that it won't work well when you need to collaborate with those who don't use it.

Easy to setup and create drawings. The tools are intuitive.

It is a bit complex to setup design layers, and also troublesome to sort the classes.

The cost of the program makes it difficult to acquire it.

Complicated and feature-rich, requires a level of training and skill to properly utilize it to its potential. Difficult transition from AutoCAD.

Solid set of features for a variety of use cases. Fairly easy to use, and offers lots of automated features that help speed up drafting tasks.

Vector works allow for collaboration with other CAD software, like REVIT ARCHITECTURE, its a perfect BIM tool.

The transition has been a smooth and good experience so far.
