Ease-of-use

Customer Support

Value for Money

The support from the Procore staff is excellent. They are very responsive and take ownership of any case or issue. They also provide many ways to connect to the end user.

Pros

The Cloud base platform is probably the main feature along with the ability to collaborate with all the players that will work on the project.

Cons

The way the pricing for this service is the least favorite thing. The pricing model is based on the amount of revenue that passes through the system. This causes the product to be priced higher than the average provider of similar products.

It can not only be utilized by the field team but also by everyone at the office. The best part is that you can access it from any device with internet.

Excellent Project Management Software

Pros

Procore is extremely user friendly. I like how anyone from the most technology-savvy to the least can pick up how to use the software. It puts the whole project in one place, which makes information sharing and management much more efficient. The interface is easy to understand and does not take click memorization to learn how to find what you're looking for. Having mobile inspections and drawings is critical, and the ability to add photos to any tool is extremely beneficial. Their observation module is ideal for quality control, and makes documentation simple and effective.

Cons

The mobile app can be challenging in the fact that it is regularly changed, and not always for the better. It has happened multiple times where features were changed and there is no discernible benefit and it makes the experience worse. It would be helpful if Procore expanded their drawing markup tools to make them a bit more flexible when it comes to posting information to the plans, and Procore needs to simply it's submittal date calculation so that dates can be added during the submittal builder feature and the calculation feature works from any tool.

Overall Procore is very helpful and a great tool to use throughout the company. When used properly it makes things flow smoothly.

Pros

I like that Procore makes things easier in ways of communication. It enables us to be able to share information between our office, the field, between jobsites, and amungst each other.

Cons

I think that Procore is a little pricey for the amount of active jobs you get for a certain price. We do have to constantly go back and open "unactive" jobs that were closed too soon due to needing space but the price is already maxing out our budget.

First Job Site using Procore

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Product Quality

Customer Support

Pros

ProCore has all the features that are easily accessible and they have a good flow between features and how to integrate them into your project. You also have the ability to choose which features you want to use and if you don't want to use certain ones then it doesn't effect the ones you want to use. They also do a great job at updating their features.

Cons

There haven't been many features that I have had issues with. The least favorite feature that I had been tasked with using was the meeting minutes feature. The toolbar for changing font sizing and colors wouldn't track with you and was time consuming to scroll back up if needed to change formatting.

Functionality

Customer Support

Value for Money

- Great program, would recommend doing a test of it and seeing its full potential! Very happy with the team at Procore, they have a great support network which makes transition from your old software into this quite successful.

Pros

- Integrated project delivery system, it is an all encompassing software which was utilising to replace 3 - 4 existing processes that were currently in place. But, this has gone above and beyond simply replacing the software; it has streamlined the project delivery, including document management, RFIs, preconstruction and tendering and post completion

Cons

- Takes time to learn, especially teaching external subcontractors, clients and architects how to use it
- A few issues in terms of procore sync and sending transmittals, which have been resolved but also give you a sense that it isnt working and causes you to lose a bit of faith in the product

It's been great! So much better than Word Doc or Excel Spreadsheets or printed binders of Submittals, RFIs and Contracts.

Pros

For me, someone who uses a tablet, the most powerful aspect of the software is our ability to have the blueprints readily available. It is so much easier to walk around with a tablet, allowing me to zoom in when necessary than walking around with large paper prints printed in some font that, for those of us with glasses, can be difficult to read.

Realtime collaboration is also a big perk especially with scheduling.

Cons

The initial learning curve. The software was provided to us in the field without any formal training. Although some is intuitive, that are aspects that it took me some extra time to figure out.

Procore is a super seamless, easy to navigate construction document management tool. The ability to obtain specs, drawings, submittals, RFI's, and any pre-construction documents from one single place makes the process super easy.

Cons

Navigating to previous versions of drawings is tough because the initial set is labeled version zero. This gets a little confusing as to how to navigate sheets that have multiple versions. If this could be streamlined to name the sheet version instead of having it be numerical that would make Procore that much better.

I would recommend procore to any company looking to streamline their project management task. It does just about anything you need it to do. This software really makes day to day project management easier.

Pros

Procore does just about anything you need it to do. One of the best features on this platform, is the ability to create and approve your prime contract as well as create schedules of value. I addition, I also really like that you can assign permissions to the folders you create so that only pertinent parties can view sensitive documentation.

Cons

Procore is a great tool to have, though it will take some time to really become proficient with it. I spent about a year using the software before I was really able to use it to its full capacity.
