Infusionsoft is a cloud-based sales and marketing solution that offers customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation and e-commerce functionalities in a suite. It helps small businesses across various industries deliver sales volumes and customer service experiences.

Users can segment their contacts, track customer interactions, send emails and run campaigns setting triggers for personalized communications based on email opens, clicks and more. Users can also manage their e-commerce, from inventory management to payments and purchase fulfillment, set up online shopping carts, track activity in their digital storefront, send quotes, invoices and receipts.

Infusionsoft’s reporting and analytics tools help users do analysis on parameters like emails, campaign performance, sales and revenue projections to track the ROI of their sales and marketing activities. Users can also access Infusionsoft remotely on their Android and iOS enabled smartphones and tablets. It offers integration with applications like QuickBooks, SalesForce, Outlook and Gmail.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone, email and FAQs.

Pros

It has incredible power for certain industries and applications. Knowledge and consulting companies as well as service companies can create impressive customer centric automated communication interfaces. It's particularly well suited for building out applications that can be deployed across industries.

Cons

It's sufficiently complicated that most users need a strong development team or contractor to build it out and maintain it. The biggest problem we encountered was having the product change after investing in a massive build out. The changes required rebuilding the entire application to work with the new architecture. That's when we abandoned the product.

Ability to plan out campaigns for any length of time and variation. Great real time reports on many activities in your sphere.

Cons

It takes a while to get it set up and you will need their free coaching to understand it all. That being said, the coaching was amazing and they dedicate quite a bit of time making sure you are good to go.

Furthermore, we have ample onboarding services available for customers and the “university” is just a supplement to your training – which you declined. I am sorry you were unable to give Infusionsoft a try. Our customer service teams are typically applauded for providing stellar coaching services and, once users take a bit of time to learn the software, like any full-service platform, they are so happy with how easy it is to use.

If you're filthy rich and can afford all the integrations you'll need, this becomes the best system there is... If you're just normal rich, only own two ferarris, skip this and go with something cheaper so you don't end up pawniing your cars and house for this.

Integration with everything, i'm surprised it doesn't control nest systems for hvac in people's homes.. Almost every saas product goes with it

Infusionsoft has done an excellent job in building a very interactive, user-friendly platform for small businesses. Since a recent update to the platform, the system has become far more streamlined and simple to enter data quick and efficiently without any hassle. This is especially helpful for our sales team, as they are easily able to update a contact while they are on the phone to them, which keeps our data up-to-date at all times. The functionality to be able to invoice and email the invoice directly from the Infusionsoft database is an extremely helpful tool. It enables us to collect payment right away from our customers and has majorly reduced our accounts receivables.

Cons

The only thing we have found to be a disadvantage, is the fact that the system can be somewhat slow on our network and doesn't always work at the speed we would like it to.

As a startup, the ability to easily link our website data from forms, a landing page, and or email campaigns into a tool to help build a streamlined process for the development of campaigns using proven methods (pre-developed templates and methods), avoiding a disjointed lack of integration between multiple apps or systems is key. The visualization method for building processes allows business continuity and flow between marketing and sales, something which can be built upon over time. It should enhance the development of better leads and cut down on a lot of the administrative front-end work in these areas, so that by the time a trigger notifies sales of a lead(through the tagging system), it is prequalified. Through utilizing the effective processes, companies can help drive attendance and actionable next steps in the process. It's ease of use and startup-up efforts can help companies get these programs launched quickly and effectively.

Cons

For long term scalability and increased business complexity, companies may seek solutions with AI driven apps or more sophisticated modeling capabilities.

Infusionsoft is a decent CRM for the price point and functionality. They enable the user to create internal forms for online submission, create campaigns, and, automate your sales pipeline pretty well for someone with zero experience in coding/programming. The customer service 24/7 live chat was phenomenal.

Cons

A lot of clicking and dragging and repitive actions requires to get it setup initially. There aren’t email integration widgets such as sales force or other CRM programs have. Was spending way too much time working on the software rather than in the CRM.

Infusionsoft is all about hype. They are great at making you feel like this product will boost production but they don't tell you that you need to hire full time staff to learn the software and it features. We were with Infusionsoft for almost 10 years and looking back it was a mistake. Very overpriced for what we used. Many other companies are less expensive and easier to work with. Their customer service is lousy and management couldn't care less about your issues. When we tried to cancel they forced use to pay another month even as a loyal 10 year customer. Very disappointed in the way we were treated and would never join Infusionsoft in the future. Consider the huge time investment in this software before you sign up and don't give them your credit card number.

Pros

Designed for companies with extra staff dedicated to handle Infusionsoft. Lots of features to learn and understand.

Cons

Way overpriced for the average company, lousy customer service and careless management.

In terms of your cancellation, we received notice from your team 10 days after the new billing cycle. Like any monthly subscription service (cable or a magazine, for example) if you call to cancel once the billing for the current month has already passed, your subscription ends at the end of that month (or billing cycle). It is pretty standard practice and we do not bill you for the following month nor charge you any cancellation fees.

Customer service tries very hard to be helpful

Can track things in a very deep way with tagging.

Cons

VERY EXPENSIVE! also, there is no way I can use this myself so in addition to the outrageous cost for the monthly fees, I have to pay others to do everything for me. As a result, I feel very disconnected from my data and can't make great decisions because they don't know what I need and I don't know what to ask them.

Also because you do very complex tracking, it is very cumbersome and confusing and difficult to use for basic funnels.

There have been times that I wanted to throw in the towel - remember, I was a brand new business owner and really had no idea what I was doing!! I learned the hard way - by screwing up, then learning how to fix what was broken (hey - I still do this sometimes!!). I will say that it's been a game-changer for me and I'm still learning new things that benefit me AND my clients each and every day. Support is super-helpful and there is an entire community of terrific people who try new things and are very open to share what they learn!!

Pros

I have been using Infusionsoft for years. I love that I can setup an email campaign, load a form onto my site, and people who complete that form will drop into that campaign to receive my marketing. I love it even better that they will BUY from me because of these campaigns.

Cons

I didn't understand marketing, automation, integrations, sales, or business (and many other things) when I started with Infusionsoft. I was just starting my businesses and had no idea what I needed, but a couple of my clients had it, so I learned it for them, then got it for myself. I have internal processes setup for things I do on a regular basis and I have processes setup for things clients do on a regular basis. I love knowing that when "X" happens, "Y" will come next, followed by "Z".

Good, but not great. Decided not to continue past the initial year commitment purely because we do not have the man power to successfully implement and run the software seamlessly.

Pros

The customizability is a wonderful feature, especially if you're a business that doesn't typically fit into one of the easy business categories (finance, medical, engineer, etc.). Everything was super organized and you can tell the software is just excellently developed. Also, I could definitely see how helpful, "smart", and different from other CRM softwares Infusionsoft could be once you had everything set up and running smoothly.

Cons

Everything about Infusionsoft is COMPLETELY customizable; which is really great, but also then a lot of work. I'm from a very small company (less than 10 people) and for us, it was almost too customizable because of how much time and training was required. For a company that is larger, or has an entire IT department, it would probably be a wonderful option. For us, it ended up being a con because after the 5 week training program, multiple books purchased, and literally months spent devoted to the software, it still wasn't up and running like a well oiled machine. Yes, we could have put in more time, but since we are a small company without a designated department for IT, it was taking too much time away from other jobs and tasks. Also, it is much more expensive than a lot of other similar softwares on the market and at least when we signed up, you had to sign a year long contract.

I like that there are features that you can duplicate to use again in other places on your site. I like how well it works with Memberium.

Cons

I would not go back.

Simple to use, drag and drop features. Drip campaigns work well. Integrates with WordPress

Cons

Customer support totally bombed before major conference sponsorship. We were able to capture no leads due to landing page fail. After a month a back and forth they still have no answer. In a recent email they closed they case because they said I had not responded within 2 business days. I sent them back my response and asked them to reopen and have heard nothing.

Database management is very limited. Updating often requires extensive work in excel to prep databases for uploading.

They cannot distinguish a record without a name from the same record with a name. This makes for a frustrating and time consuming experience in deduplicating lists.

I dread using Infusionsoft

I send a 2x weekly email broadcast as well as run a half dozen or so automated campaigns. The software is very challenging to use - rarely intuitive. It freezes and kicks me out while I'm working quite often - probably about 40% of the time I use it.

They introduce new features sometimes, but in my experience, these new features are buggy and too risky to use. The new A/B test feature in particular has really screwed up my analytics.

If my company decided to switch off of this software to a different one, I would celebrate.

Pros

Chat support is pretty quick to respond.

Cons

Usability and feature errors. Losing my work when it freezes or logs me out.

Very good, stong development team with a strong/solid product.

Pros

Campaign Builder, Reports, Templates/Email Builder, List Segmentation, & More.

Cons

It can be overwhelming, and hard to use if you do not know what you are doing. It would be ideal to have an overall reporting functionality or some type of flow charts to see what is going on in your Infusionsoft account. It takes some investigative work to figure out setups.

This is a CRM developed by software engineers for software experts - not the average layperson. So if you are a soloproneur, steer clear. But if you are a business with the expertise in-house, this software offers significant upside.

Pros

A lot of features and upside with both a fairly deep CRM and robust email automation platform in one.

Cons

So many features and upside, it requires months to really master. It's also not always as intuitive as one would hope.

I am a big fan of Infusionsoft. I've been using it for 5+ years now in the daily operations of the company I own. At the beginning I had just a handful of contacts and a sales funnel. Now Infusionsoft is the home to thousands of contacts, dozens of sales funnels, bunches of landing pages, product links, broadcast emails, sales reports, automated emails, and more. And I know we don't use every feature Infusionsoft offers.

Also, big deal: Their customer support is fantastic. Email, chat, phone: They've always solved our problems quickly and cordially. I highly recommend them.

Cons

Infusionsoft does have a steep learning curve. Back when I started they charged a separate fee to teach you the software; they may or may not do that anymore, but it definitely was a good idea. You need an expert to jump-start you.

The pricing isn't cheap. But I think it's reasonable. We've tried to jump ship from Infusionsoft to another CRM before, but the other CRM kept frustrating us with its lack of features or confusing interface. We returned home to Infusionsoft, and here we plan to stay.

Cons

Not very user friendly and am not able to easily integrate infusionsoft with other applications I use.

Customer service isn't that great and I'd like for it to be easier to set up automated emails for some things like confirmation emails.

After paying for it for a couple years, I finally got real with myself that I was only using the minority of its features. After finally deciding to do the work of extricating myself, I am now very happy with new options that cost me a ton less, saving me more than $200 a month.

Pros

Infusionsoft is a beast. You can choke a hippo with all its features and options. If you are thinking "I wonder if Infusionsoft can do that..." then the answer is probably yes.

Cons

Interface is clunky, looks and feels old, not very intuitive. I constantly found myself having to figure out *again* how to complete tasks. It's expensive, especially compared to many newer, less-expensive, competing options which are quicker to learn and easier to use.

Infusionsoft has just about everything you could need in one convenient place. It allows you to personalize your dashboard and view whatever information is most pertinent for your company. For us, it's a great way to organize and store our customer information.

Cons

I wish it had a better tutorial/how to section. There are a ton of features in Infusionsoft, and a detailed how-to would help you to learn to utilize these in the best way possible for your business.
