SalesforceIQ is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution suitable for small to medium-sized businesses across a variety of industries. Key features include sales automation and a customer interaction database. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS devices.

SalesforceIQ manages details of both customers and prospective customers. Information can be entered into the system automatically from emails, calendars and marketing automation systems. Users can see if other team members have already communicated with contacts.

SalesforceIQ creates automatic reminders, so if users do not remember to respond to emails, the system will send them alerts to follow up. The solution also includes a Gmail extension. Users can reach out to contacts without toggling between their email inboxes and CRM software.

SalesforceIQ is priced on a per user per month basis. It is integrated with Pardot, MailChimp and HubSpot. Support is offered via online ticket.

We're a young technology and management consulting company and have used Salesforce and been a systems integrator at other firms. This was the perfect solution (and cost effective) for us to immediately begin tracking and tackling our pipeline and contacts to stay on track with everyting.

Pros

-Out of the box it's ready to go
-Intuitive interface
-Ability to customize and add modules as needed
-Collaboration for transparency on deal flow and pipeline as well as activities

Cons

There's nothing in particular I dislike about Salesforce Essentials

Excellent experience I would highly recommend this product.

Pros

Excellent product for research industry. We used for inventory for device. Super easy to have everything done in few minutes. I would highly recommend this product.

There are some time it showed some technical problems.

Overall, this is a great product. I am able to communicate about inventory with much ease and I have very few issues. The few times I have had issues with the pen reader communicating with the Salesforce app, I was able to get immediate assistance to resolve my issue.

Pros

I am able to communicate directly with the Shipper for inventory and returns.

Cons

I have had several issues with the pen reader not scanning the product. I have had to get a pen replacement, and have several trouble shooting conversations with the shipper regarding not being able to scan in devices.

Not helpful at all. Technology from some other decade/century?

Pros

Nothing; it's so irritating. And I'm an IT person, programmer and DBA? Can't imagine what it's like for a non-tech user?

Can't add multiple records at a time; groups difficult to work with; emailing a challenge

I do not give only 1 star because there were occasional situations where SalesforceIQ informed us accurately that a client had changed companies. It did not offer us zero valid sales intelligence.

Cons

This software drove me crazy. Regularly confused our clients with other individuals with the same name and filled in data about those unrelated people. Regularly overwrote our own, hard-researched data about our clients with their LinkedIn dreams of being a DJ or Freelance Graphic Designer. I could never find an option to turn it off or siphon their "intelligence" to separate column. Maybe if we'd had a bespoke Salesforce implementation this would have been possible but I HIGHLY ADVISE you avoid if you're using out-of-the-box Salesforce.

I heard a lot of positive reviews from different people and other sources of information regarding Salesforce. Eventually, this pressured my enough and forced to try this CRM system, and now I just regret that I did not do that earlier. It was extremely easy to begin, there was no need for the programmers, I figured out how everything works by myself, so the interface is friendly and easy, also I noticed that switching between pages and profiles were quite fast without any delays everything else I will not emphasize, it is just fine, but the system of reporting is a separate topic for a conversation because it is amazing.

Cons

The only complaint I had it is their website, it was quite complicated to start because I needed to register myself at once and there were so many different buttons so that was easy to get confused. I think this moment must be simplified.

I like that it's a way for the whole office to stay on the same page. I appreciate the fact that it can integrate all of the email addresses that we use. Especially helpful when working remote.

Cons

After using other software systems from SalesForce this one was a let down. The price didn't seem that much more appealing for the awesome features it leaves out.

Pros

This software is awesome. It takes the stress out of constantly updating your CRM by making it seamless and integrated with our email. It captures a lot automatically, giving my team more time to close deals. We love the customizable pipeline features as well. Great software overall.

Cons

I have hard time thinking of cons for this software. It was so easy for my team to implement. It is expensive I guess, that'd be the only con.

Salesforce is the best tool I use constantly as a salesperson. Tracking my buyers and prospective buyers is simple, for example, as all the effects and notes in the account are combined, all information is presented in a clear and logical way. The panels give me the ability to monitor performance. This, absolutely, comfortable CRM-system, which I use, and it's quite easy to handle, even the one who first started using this platform. We needed a reliable sales tracking system, so we decided to try Salesforce. This service has undoubtedly helped us to find new buyers to close deals faster and increase our income.

Cons

I found, in fact, that the application is limited in functionality, and sometimes buggy, but I usually can access the necessary account information and view performance characteristics panels.

SalesforceIQ is structured in a very straight-forward manner. It's easily adapted to the way an organization does business. Mostly for small businesses, Salesforce IQ is a CRM system that enables sales teams and individuals to better track contact data, engagement and stay on target with conversations. A few favorites features we’ve heard highlighted from sales teams include: Read Receipts, Send Later Functions, Dynamic Calendars, Pre-created email content etc. In a way, Salesforce IQ is sales automation that making the life of your sales teams easier and improving their results. As someone who needs to balance many relationships at the same time, this tool is helping me efficiently track my contacts and communications. I simply wouldn't be able to do my job effectively if I had to rely on email and spreadsheets.

Cons

The mobile experience is packed with features but it is not always intuitive. It's a bit hard to learn the workflows and error triggers. You definitely need a competent system administrator to manage Salesforce so it can be priory set up to be beneficial to an organization.

It had a lot of powerful integration and I could download quickly into excel format. The feed was nice as well as my colleagues who interacted w/ leads was easily visible as a team

Cons

The hierarchy was confusing between setting up an account and then tying multiples records (deals?) to that account. Ultimately got it, but took a while to get setup

Creating leads and contacts in Salesforce is a breeze with this tool. I love that I can instantly add a customer and log their email in Salesforce. I love the ability to add meeting invites or email templates to an email with a couple of clicks. Salesforce IQ has saved me hours of data entry into Salesforce. I don't know what I would do without this tool now that I have used it for close to two years.

Cons

In the last few months something changed in the way that it pulls the data when you go to add a contact. The previous version use to pull all of the information automatically and now I have to manually add a lot of the information. It is still quicker than adding new contacts into Salesforce but it does require a few more steps. I also wish there was more insight into who opened an email or web link when you include multiple people on an email.

Honestly think I would choose my next job on whether or not they use RelateIQ as I could NEVER go back to Salesforce.

I work as an executive for a 3-person start-up. We are in the seed stage of a start-up's life-cycle, and are sourcing investment opportunities left and right. The team desperately needed to organize our contacts and improve our internal communication. RelateIQ organized all our historical communications, contacts, and accounts, and simplified the process of viewing, editing and evaluating our pipeline as a team.

Pros

Customer service: Our Accnt Mgr, Jane Alexander was an incredible resource with her wealth of knowledge, accessibility, and amenable personality. Product: A highly customizable and collaborative tool, simple and intuitive. the iPad of CRM.

Cons

Would love to be able to integrate a calendar function into the platform to schedule precise timelines for follow-up and set future meetings. An internal chat function would also be great to streamline communication.
