Vtiger Cloud Software


 

Vtiger is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution that caters to small and midsize businesses and helps them to manage their interactions with existing and potential customers. It offers sales automation capabilities, email marketing functionality, help desk, invoicing and project and inventory management.

Vtiger's web-to-CRM forms capture contact information directly from site visitors. It includes custom reporting with filters that allow users to manage specific lead characteristics. The solution's support portal allows customers to search through a database of past issues and resolutions. On the back end, support agents can create, document and track issues with automated follow-ups. Customers can monitor the status of their issues from open to close. Files, documents, invoices and quotes can all be shared through a client portal. 

Vtiger integrates with Microsoft Outlook and has mobile applications available that enable users to access the solution remotely. Services offered are billed monthly. Support is available via phone, email and other online resources.

Pros

I thought it had a very quick learning curve for a product with so much functionality. I worked on setting up the contact module for a day before scheduling a training to make changes and understand some of the functionality that I did not understand. The training was interactive, through a screen share, which was a huge plus. I am very happy we chose vTiger!

Cons

I was a little overwhelmed at first seeing all the functionality that comes with the program. It made me feel a little inadequate at first but the training helped ease my anxiety and I am confident we will be using vtiger to its full strength within the next 60-90 days.

Since connecting with customer reps and the other support team via the telephone support line - I've been blown away at the level of technical support your team can provide. Prior to the phone line, we would use the chat line - but that was not very effective due to time lags. Now I'm very satisfied with the level of support and the product.

vtiger has been great for us because it is more comprehensive than many CRM solutions we have tried or used in the past, allowing us to handle sales, support, billing, and ongoing customer interactions. We have also found it to be very flexible and customizable, eliminating some of the other software services we have used outside the CRM, like project management software.
However, the very best thing we have found about vtiger is that they pay close attention to our requests for support and our feedback for product improvement.

Cons

Business reporting is somewhat limited for our needs. Third party solutions exist, but don't work with the cloud hosted version, which we use.

Pros

Very strong customer service, gets back to me in very short time. Customer support agent helped me with custom requests no other CRM providers would even discuss.

Cons

I was concerned that vTiger did not integrate out of the box with many other softwares that I use. But then I found that using Zapier I was able to resolve this for free and even got richer functionality.

I have tried so many CRMs it's ridiculous trying to find the holy grail and I think I've finally found it. Vtiger CRM is a well designed CRM that's fast, easy to understand, pleasing to the eye and very customizable. For the monthly subscription price you get a lot of value for this much power. The software comes in two flavors (SAS and Open Source) so it can meet almost any small to mid-sized business need.

Great customer support, they offer email, chat and telephone support and the VT account manager (Sharavana) is great for keeping things on track. They also offer structured training and support packages which worked well for us and are good value. Customer service is definitely their strength, and is really important in selecting a CRM. Poor quality or expensive support just makes it too hard hard to get all the customization you need or worse a poorly implemented CRM.
Our building company has a fair bit of complexity around ordering, scheduling and project management as well as the usual lead generation and sales functions. Vtiger is our third system since 2007 and definitely the best for flexibility and customization it’s also easily the best value.
API Integration with other systems like accounting packages and project management tools is quite good but sometimes has to use web hooks which can have a delay. Integration with web forms and chat is excellent and some really good analytics is available.
Document storage is great in VT – super easy access to plans and documents even for people in the field. Logging calls even mobiles has been really useful especially for project management.

Cons

Not many - The mandatory 2 column format for every page is a bit limiting, this can make the layout of data a clumsy. Most of the cons are overcome by working it through with VT – ring them, if they can’t fix it then they will give you a ‘ work around’.

Pros

It is a solid basic CRM. It provides all of the essentials for capturing customer data and sending it off the the next step in the sales cycle.

Cons

The system is rigid, so making changes to match your internal workflow may not be super easy to accomplish. Also, integrating a payment solution may be more work than necessary.

It is very easy to set and to configure for people who have limited sofware / IT skills. Tipical processes related to B2B sales can be quickly implemented using the main features of the basic package. vTiger gave our company freedom to change databases, relations between them and front-end layout inside the same sales team.

Cons

Sometimes the application gets stucked and we need to restart / re-login to keep working. Linking employees inbox mail accounts to the vTiger to have everything syncronized gave us some troubles and was harder than we expected.

With the support of this platform it was quite elementary and simple to plan meetings. The Vtiger platform contains a mobile application, which is always under the hand. I like working capacity. Vtiger CRM is very powerful with almost all modules you need and suitable for any team or company. The best part of the Vtiger CRM is that the opensource code that you can place on your own server and make any changes you need. On Vtiger website, we almost can find manual for every module and a lot of documents, the Help Center makes the beginner easy to follow and success set up the new CRM. In addition, the technical support is always helpful and patient.

Cons

More resource should be allocated for QA team, which I find lacking. I do not understand why you are creating a new function, but this function creates a regression for another function. Also, do not forget about support, sometimes my requests were not processed for a couple of weeks.

I liked the way it offers to integrate with other systems and the Dashboard.

In this case, a customer wanted some more visibility on the Sales and Marketing teams. More specific, how was the yield on a leads database.

I didn't need to reinvent anything. Just throw data to vTiger via API and give the managers some vTiger acoounts and i was set.

I can say that it is very productive and clear platform. I can do all my working facilities faster. Vtiger CRM is an amazing simple system of tracking and recording emails or phone calls. Also it has intuitive and totally functional apps for iOS & Android. Vtiger is very useful for our daily needs and it also makes it easier for our auditors when they have to collect specific data from our administration and sales processes. It is very visual and they can see account names, dates, quotes, files... at a glance. Another area that is key for us is the one we use for our Technical Department. Also, their support team is great, always willing to help and their documentation is very complete.

Cons

Never had a problem with tools which I'm using all the time. Vtiger CRM is a perfect working software which doesn’t have any bad and big problems. I like to work with all of the tools which I can use. The platform is easy to understand.

I would like to say that this is really a very good and interactive solution for increasing your entire sales system. I would like to say that this is a stabilized solution and allows you to largely achieve the company's goals. With this program you can manage all your contacts. Makes work faster. An amazing simple system for tracking and recording e-mails or phone calls. I can say that this is a very productive and understandable platform. We improved our work with preconfigured and customizable analytics. Ideally suited for having the most open and understandable list of contacts, which makes it possible to find the right contact.

Cons

The postal manager is not so friendly, for example, when I receive a response in my letter, he does not automatically join the leadership or opportunity. Sometimes the synchronization and integration settings are lost. I would like to see stronger reporting capabilities built into free software.

Pros

You can consolidate multiples process in a single platform (sales, product catalog, contacts, project management, service contracts, case management). Integration with gsuites lets you sinc calendar, add new contacts based on emails, email features. Integration with twilio lets you start phone call based on the contact information and record this activities. Dashboard features to obtain of your differents tasks. Easy to setup and customize. You can add new modules if you needs.

Cons

The interactions between the differents modules can be improve, in order to relate the differents entities of the interactions with our customers.
