the best part is that links shared can be saved and used at a later date, it is also very user friendly
the customer support needs more improvement, especially when you are purchasing the software, it takes too much time for support to get back to you.

Very easy to use and very fast.
It's worth it's money especially now that the price for Pro was lowered .
Very light and never crashes or take time like other software that need their time.
1. For a paying service (especially when it wasper month), the support responds to you in 2-4 days, to a chat support not ticket.
2. The one thing that does not make sense at all is that they've build all this service and it does not include a full screen shortcut like the one Mac OS have by default (Shift-Command-4). When you take hundred of screenshots everyday that is a must.
3. If you take a screenshot and save it on your finder as a file and than drag and drop that on to Jira it shows an unsupported file. Jira does not recognise that. for dev teams that use Jira is unusable. And I know that they have a Jira connector, but when you paste a droplr url on the Jira comment section it does not get populated, you still need to open the link.
4. No iPhone app.

Droplr makes it easier to share contents with my colleagues at the workplace. It has also allowed me effortlessly manage and save my files at work.
I like that Droplr is available to be used on both my Windows and Mac OS devices.I like the ease with which I am able to take screenshots, annotate it and share with my colleagues at the workplace.I like the Droplr chrome extension and I love using it to access my Droplr since Chrome is my favorite web browser.
Droplr does not support the Linux operating systems, therefore restricting me to using Droplr on just Windows and MAC.
Droplr really is very excellent, and you can't go wrong with it. I'm also a fan of CloudApp, but —especially if you're interested in creating readily-shareable, linked Markdown files—then Droplr becomes a better choice. You might consider both, and be on the lookout for occasional discounts or "lifetime" offerings from either one.
I have reviewed CloudApp, too—and I've given that similar software a slight edge—but Droplr I very capable, and in some ways I like it better!
Free plan is very restrictive—just 10 drops a month with 1GB of total storage. You'll like Droplr enough that you will outgrow those parameters almost immediately.
Our how-to tutorials look great with the gifs made with Droplr instead if simple screenshots.
I use Droplr every time I need to make a gif recording a screen and it works great! The gifs are of high quality, the program is easy-to-use, so I'm totally satisfied.
Sometimes it crashes just after the recording is finished, and the recording is not saved so I need to re-do.

I like that this allows me to take a screenshot and share a url really quickly. Also enjoy that we can create gifs and screencasts as well with it
Sometimes it jams up and the quality of the recording is very fuzzy, I've also found whenever doing video clips/recordings, it can cause your computer to overheat in some cases
Pretty much how they promote it is accurate... it's allows you to share files easily and conveniently, and the file will be removed from their servers after an allotted amount of time. In both work and play, many times I'll need to share something as almost a temporary measure: "Look at this screenshot." It's not something that needs to be kept forever. Usually after the client sees it, we discuss it, and move on with the project. There's no need to keep it. You CAN keep it, but by default it will go away soon enough. No bulky servers to periodically clean to purge files that were meant to be shared, reviewed, and discarded.
The mark-up tool, where you can annotate uploaded files, could probably be improve a bit more in terms of options and ease of annotating. It's a very helpful part of the software, so improvements to this are would make a good idea even better.
The ability to quickly capture, annotate, and share what I see on the screen helps me communicate more effectively with my team and with customers.
Capturing screenshots and screen recordings is fast, reliable, and easy. Having the ability to organize these screenshots into groups and share the grouped shots with colleagues is a great way to share inspiration, ideas, and revisions. There are many options regarding privacy and even the ability to have a custom domain/url for sharing these images.
While the capture interface is great, the web portion can be challenging. Things like privacy controls are not well described in the interface.

Ease of use. It made uploading files easier than before. It made my whole workflow almost seem seamless (no pun intended).
Has an OS X menubar icon and easy functionality. Works when I need it to, and flows well with my workflow. I don't have to leave an app to open this one - it simply exists in my menubar and copies directly to my clipboard.
It seems to ever-so-slighty be getting paywalled. When I first used it, the free tier was enough, now the free tier is almost as good as gone. There's no benefit to pay for something like this when competitors offer more with a few more obstacles to overcome.
John from Arts+Sciences // Creative and Marketing Services
Very easy to use. Receivers don't have to have a login to view screenshots. Can use it for zip files as well.
The mac client seems to log me out once every couple weeks. Not a big deal as logging back in only takes a couple clicks.
Maxim from OneBar Inc
Very simple workflow: you press a shortcut, select an area on the screen and get a link in your clipboard. Or, if you want, you press another shortcut and draw extra info on your screenshot.
A lot of my friends are using Dropbox for this, but I hate how heavy is the dropbox web page when you click the link. I think it even tries to convince you to install the Dropbox app, which is extremely annoying.
Also, love the screencast feature, use it all the time.
It feels like the app became a bit more buggy in recent days. In particular, uploading a screencast sometimes crashes the app, and there are few annoying bugs in the drawing editor.
None any more, terrible customer service
App over all is great, works as advertised. Sharing info in a secure way is a great way to collaborate.
got this on a promo, former employee assured me this was a lifetime account, she is no longer with the company, and now one of the cust support rep was telling me it is not lifetime. Horrible customer service.
ARTURO from UNIVISION COMMUNICATIONS
its simple, nimble, doesn't add any friction to a simple process like sharing files. Both the desktop and mobile versions are really easy to use.
It was confusing at the beginning, but I picked it up really fast. Also it doesn't crash like similar apps.
Zachary from Financial Services
I have a life time subscription, which means I am not paying monthly for a service that removed the primary reason I paid for it.
They removed the iOS app and have not said when they are planning on releasing a new one. Therefore this is useless.
Jhody from NeoSentra Corpora Indonesia (NeoSentra Corp.)
The availability of the app in my MacOS and my iOS has enable me to work seamlessly anywhere and anytime.
Sometimes the MacOS app is heavy when I run it for screen recording. But from the last few updates I think it is getting better. So I'm hoping that it will be lighter and faster in the next update.
Sharing content with coworkers
Easy shortcuts I never forget, never hunt and peck. Auto copies URL to clipboard. Pretty easy mark up. Easy to find old shots.
Mark up tool could be better - can't change text size - hard to delete or edit what you've added. But it is nice and simple.
Isabel from University
Great app for clipping, sharing, and organizing content for work and personal life. Droplr dev team does a great job incorporating client feedback into upgrading the product. Fast and reliable app
No negatives for Droplr. I think the Version 5.0 release may have been rushed but also could've been caused by multiple OS's in play right now
Ryan from Outward Church
I love how Droplr works completely in the cloud, allowing me to share files via URL. In the past, my desktop would always end up cluttered with screenshot image files that I had taken to share. Now when I share screenshots they don't take up any space at all on my hard drive or desktop.
I've encountered some bugs when using the screencast feature at times, but it seems those have been worked out in the latest update.

Helps me communicate easier with coworkers and clients on a day-to-day basis.
Love the tagging function and the Mac applet is very handy so you don't have to switch to your browser every time. Customer support has been great whenever something comes up. Seems to be in constant development.
Overall a really handy service for quick screenshot, annotation, screencast sharing and simple communication!
Although good, the app needs some improvement:
- Ability to customize the tools at the top of the menu bar applet
- Editing items in the Mac app window instead of browser
- Better screencast functionality, like editing the recording area size, position, controls, etc

Easy sharing of files and metrics about when and how often a share was viewed.
Ease of use, hands down. I need to share a link with a colleague or friend then I just drag and drop onto the taskbar icon or use a handy keyboard shortcut. Another nifty feature is the ability to create Self Destructing shares, I don't feel like the security is an issue but sometimes the piece of mind is worth it's weight in gold.
Honestly, the upgrade process used to be a bit clunky in the earlier versions, however, since that has been reworked I cannot find any flaws.
Robert from Robert Rodriguez Jr Photography
Ease of use, intuitive design, great support, and it's updated regularly with new features and enhancements. I also love the iOS apps as well as the website which lets me access my drops anytime, anywhere.
Also great for teams that need to share screenshots and screencasts quickly and easily.
Not much, but would like the ability to do a timed capture so I can show interactive elements in software. But otherwise, not much not too like about Droplr - simply works.
Richard from WYR
The speed of being able to create Drops, ease of use, the ability to draw on Drops and access Drops across all my devices,
There's no shortcut in the menu to export a screenshot Drop, ie. I have to open the Drop and then right-click and save it to my desktop.
