SequelMed EHR Software


SequelMed is an integrated hybrid electronic health record, practice management, billing and scheduling solution from Sequel Systems that supports a wide range of specialties such as gastroenterology, podiatry, urology and more. By centralizing practice data in a single location, healthcare providers and support staff can collaborate on different aspects of patient activity such as administrative, financial and clinical.

SequelMed can be sold as electronic health records (EHR) and practice management (PM) suite or as standalone applications. SequelMed offers HL7 and DICOM interfaces to manage interoperability with imaging systems and medical devices. The solution can either be deployed on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

Additionally, SequelMed offers users a patient portal that features real-time communication, online patient registration, active medication lists, immunization schedule and more. Users are also provided with electronic prescribing and linking capabilities.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis after a one-time setup fee. Support is offered via phone, email, FAQs and product videos.

You get what you pay for.


Cheaper than some others. Not very responsive with support and seem to continue to have the same issues unresolved.


This product is not fully functional with an Ipad nor is it completely compatible with Dragon, although I was told differently by them before I decided to use their system. Purchased 3 Ipads for the office that are useless
