Liking Vincere...and errr....it's not owned by a job board company.

A great alternative to Jobadder and Bullhorn. Independently owned

Pros

I have used 4 systems but I am liking Vincere -it's always moving ahead -so may add-ons, automations, etc. and errr... it's not owned by a job board company. I have an issue with recruitment systems that are owned by large job board corporations, it's important that I know where and how my data is being used.
A biggie for me is that I can have 20 people helping me load candidates and perform various tasks inside the system, with various level of permissions.I am shifting to a remote workstyle after years of running my business from an office. Vincere allows me to have staff working from different locations, with limited, permissioned access to the system. This gives me peace of mind.
Peace of mind

Cons

None so far, enjoying the platform and the constant updates. They seem to anticipate features that we need and deliver them before we have to request them.

The only ATS for agencies

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Product Quality

Customer Support

Value for Money

Pros

The system is specifically tailored for agencies, and that is quite unique. Every workflow inside the system is laid out with the goal of placing candidates.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the difficulty in identifying active applicants in the system. It is very hard to know if a candidate applied actively, or was sourced as a passive candidate.
Also, there are few possibilities of customizing the process. It is the Vincere way, or no way :-)

Get a demo, ask them the hard questions - get them to show you how it will impact your top line.

Pros

We moved onto Vincere earlier this year and the explosion in productivity from my team has been insane, when compared to the previous platform (rival database provider).

There is a significant list of additional modules to tailor a product for your business and the customer support has been second to none (infinitely better than), rather than just accepting all the extra functionality that an Executive Search firm like ours does not need.

The quality difference is significant; user interface is great, quick response rate, usability, logic and extra functionality.

While I appreciate it's not a small project to change providers and is cost prohibitive for some bigger firms, if you quote #Wellsysentyou then Vincere will knock 50% off their standard onboarding charges or give you free access to their APP for a year (that doesn't apply to any other discounted rates).

We cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Cons

One of our data imports was in JSON. Tech didn't like the format but we got around it after a few chats and they imported the extra dataset for 50% discount.

Pros

The reporting is pretty good. I like the parsing of the documents so that I don't have to manually enter all the information.

Cons

I think the searching coz at the moment it seems very broad, you type in one word and it will pull up from everything even if it's only one word. The updates are throwing me off a little bit though, it seems to get updated quite a lot but apart from that I'm not having many concerns.

Very helpful and easy-to-use platform

Ease-of-use

Functionality

Product Quality

Customer Support

Value for Money

Pros

I like that I can link the candidate, the client and the vacancy together. If I got a feedback from a client regarding this candidate for this vacancy, I am able to check the activity log where I can see from the candidate's side or the client's side or vacancy side. That is very useful, usually if it's separated, it gives me a headache. This function is really very helpful. It makes it easier to see the comments and the feedback.

Cons

There's one thing that I realized though we don't frequently use this function but it would be helpful to search by comments made on a candidate on the Advanced Search. This is not really urgent because I don't often use it but it will come in handy when I need it.
I hope Vincere can work on the limitations from LinkedIn when we retrieve too many profiles.

Pros

We've been using Vincere for a while now and we love it. Personally I really like the my stats dashboard so I can see all my live active interviews, open jobs, fees etc - this is really useful. The general candidates pipeline is also very useful allowing everyone to filter down by their jobs, candidates etc. Velocity is a life-saver too.

Cons

There's a few slight snags that can be annoying at times but nothing springs to mind as a negative point of the overall system - as a user i'm very satisfied with Vincere.

Pros

The client portal in the engagmenent hub is my favourite feature. This allows us to connect more closely with our clients and offer huge usp. The analtyics suite is very powerful and just works right away with no coding which is awesome. I also really like searching inside the system which always finds the right people and Velocity is awesome too. We use velocity alongside a tool called contact in contact out which saves lots of time.

As a business we're very satisfied with Vincere.

Cons

What would be amazing would be to have a RPO offering so clients can export our candidates into their database.

Overall, super happy with this platform and happy to recommend (which I often do!).

Pros

As a business we love TimeTemp - it's a nifty little timesheets tool that delivers big results. The best thing about it is that it's integrated straight into vincere and syncs seamlessly, I had a few teething issues at first but now it's a dream to use.

I think the application pipeline is great, I really like it - it breaks down the recruitment process so simply and is visual and easy to follow. For new grads starting in the business brand new to recruitment all they need to do is follow the pipeline - easy.

As a business owner the analytics is a key driver for me. I'm big on reporting and KPIs and Vincere delivers exactly what I want and more.

Cons

Overall i'm really satisfied with the product/service so there's no specific things I'd categorise as a 'con'. Trying to merge companies can be slightly annoying but I understand the team are working on this.

Vincere looks to be at the forefront of whats available right now in cloud-based, SaaS recruitment software. Whilst I admit that there are many others currently on the market who can do the same thing, the fact that the guys at Vincere are working hard to stay ahead of the game means that I can get features that the others don't have much faster.

Pros

Very few CRM/ATS systems impress. It's either one or the other. Vincere has everything you need and then some for an effective and productive recruitment process. I love that so much is included in the price, and all I have to do is align the system with my process.
Everything links well together as a complete package - including my favorites like LinkedIn and Seek - which means I don't have to wonder if the extra apps I want will work. Paperless process, once the systems is configured can be a genuine reality. Candidate submittal is now easier than ever which means faster feedback on resumes and interview booking.

Cons

There's not a lot to dislike. My only gripe is that the Vincere phone app is quite basic, would like to see future improvement on this feature.

Pros

I launched a recruitment firm almost four years ago and I think it was quite difficult to decide which software to go for when you start. It's an important decision because you don't want to switch from one to another every time. I chose Vincere because I've been doing recruitment for 12 years and Vincere has very much everything that I need as a recruiter. I like that Vincere is very easy to use and I can parse information from LinkedIn to Vincere. I also like that Vincere takes care of everything such as GDPR compliance and a job portal for my website. Recently I recommended Vincere to a friend of mine who was starting a new recruitment company and quickly he became a Vincere customer.

Cons

Vincere keeps improving and innovating so there are many new features in the system. I know that I am not utilizing all features that Vincere has to offer but will definitely explore more.

Pros

The LinkedIn integration feature is really helpful when searching for candidates and new leads especially from LinkedIn.
With constant updates, I'm very happy to see that they removed the onboarding stage as it didn't make sense to me. Keeping track
of KPI is well set up and easy to use as all the information is stored in one place. The ability to create and save email template
is also very helpful when sending out mass emails.

Cons

When I open a new tab on the browser it doesn't display where I'm at in Vincere, so I tend not to know how to back track to the original tab I was on. Would like to be able to add comments about a candidates without the extra steps.

A lot of automation, from CV parsing to interview scheduling until the offer and invoicing (integrated with our Accounting system).

Teams KPI's are easy to monitor without having to ask long reporting.

Pros

Vincere has all the features you would expect from a good system, and even a bit more with functionality which are truly useful because they make you earn time (and not a gadget nobody use after few weeks)

Automation of the flows is well though in order to be more efficient and to provide the best candidate and client experience. The client portal is a strong great, clients likes it.

The GDPR compliance tracking is simple and clear.

As they say, they're big enough to deliver but still the right size to really care

Cons

As any systems things can be improved, but we can really see that our feed-back is taken into consideration.

We now have a cloud based ATS/CRM, but the software could work much better for us to boost sales if the requested features were added.

Pros

Subscription is really cheap. It is cloud-based and on most days the website is fairly responsive. API integration is possible.

Cons

Important features are either missing (e.g. attached files are not searchable, including the CVs of candidates!) or not really usable (e.g. though one can create custom fields, they do not show in the list views of clients, candidates or jobs, also not when search results are shown, therefore the custom fields cannot easily be used for better searching).

The makers' focus is on growing market share by impressing with great-sounding features. The focus is not on satisfying existing customers' needs, therefore once one starts working with Vincere, one discovers that many features are not really useable.

Though the possibility exists to make product improvements, the suggestions are ignored.

Automation is not used to the maximum (e.g. to link emails to candidates or clients, one has to manually press a button)

Vincere is the upstart nibbling away at Bullhorn in particular. It isn't pretentious but it is the pretender to BH's throne, for sure. The company takes care to look after its clients in a manner that its bigger rival does not whilst absolutely offering all the Enterprise-level bells and whistles for a fraction of the price.

Pros

Vincere everything a Search firm needs, irrespective of its positioning and level of sophistication. It offers all the tools needed for recruiters to source, store and leverage candidate and client data, whilst as a manager/owner, there is a veritable suite of reports to carefully monitor and manage individual and company performance.

Cons

It can take some time to adjust to its process flow (having switched from Bullhorn after a 10-year relationship, that was inevitable) and it has sooo many functions that one needs to invest some time and effort to truly understand what is packed under the bonnet.

Very positive. My team actually use Vincere, with the previous system it was a battle to get them to log in.

Pros

This is a very easy to use system with a very good search tool.

Going from Zoho to Vincere was like switching the lights on. We looked at Bullhorn and a number of other systems, but none offered the same level of efficiency, visibility and scalability we needed. When selecting a new recruitment system, you’re not just looking at features. You want a vendor that listens and is trustworthy - during and after the sales process - and that’s exactly what we got with Vincere.

Cons

I would like to see less functionality with everything done really well, as opposed to more functionality that works 95% of the time.

Pros

continuous enhancements, competitive pricing.

Cons

Vincere does have a tendency to try and cover too wider area of the market, attempting to be a finance software package, Social Marketing manager and email client alongside the core CRM ATS, Analytics piece. The end result at times can feel a little muddled but the core aspects do work well. The continuous approach to new releases also helps to address many frustrations. Support can be a little long winded and at times feels under resourced. Integrations with 3rd parties are also often a little hit and miss.

Advice to Others

For an expanding SME Recruiter or larger established recruiter Vincere is a strong prospect. Recruit So Simple is great for those starting our in the industry or a smaller entity we moved to Vincere solely because of the lack of Analytics / Measurements in RSS. If you are purchasing Vincere for the various 3rd part integrations take time to really explore these in depth and use them in a live environment prior to taking the plunge.

We really like this product. It has a lot of features which are very helpful compared to the previous systems we used. We were using Excel spreadsheets, Citrix and Word Docs before we found Vincere so this is really a step-up for us. It is so colorful too and very user friendly.

Cons

If there is a way for us to filter the candidates on the Engagement Hub, it would be great.

Pros

When I left my company and started my own business and was looking for options as a CRM/ATS software to integrate with my new business. At the time of reviewing the options, Bullhorn and a few others were actually chasing me to sign. Then I had a conversation with some friends who recommending vincere completely out of the blue - had a demo, loved the product and don't regret my decision.

Vincere is really simple and easy to use, although still has lots of depth and functions. I like that Vincere allows you to link candidates to clients and being able to keep track of everything easily. Support are also great!

Cons

The document builder is little hard to work with but I still need to spend more time setting up the templates. I need to spend some time properly utilising the product and getting the most out of it.

Pros

I really love the instant job board that Vincere offers, its brilliant and easy to use. You can easily post your jobs and integrate it on your website. The support coming from Vincere is awesome, compared to the previous software that we were using. You can send your questions and the team will make sure to respond to your concern unlike the previous software support that I had, where they just leave you hanging.

Cons

There's only a few improvements that I would like to see Vincere work on.One of them is regarding the email confirmation. I would like to see the confirmation box disappear a little bit quicker, but with the continuous development and improvement of Vincere, I know that this will be address in a timely matter.

The key difference between Bullhorn and Vincere is the attitude of the company. Bullhorn got lazy and complacent- they want to charge their customers for every little update or new feature. I feel that Vincere are the exact opposite. They are investing in regular updates and these are given to existing customers. As this platform is evolving, my business is evolving with it.

Pros

I am by no means a database freak but this is a system that I am really enjoying. My friend, who also has a recruitment business, recommended that I switch from Bullhorn to Vincere and I haven't looked back. In fact, we frequently text each other and say how glad we are that we moved off of Bullhorn to Vincere!
Vincere is a system that's just easy to use and get your contacts and candidates in to quickly. I actually use this system day to day to track jobs, metrics, use with LinkedIn. Compare this to when I was using Bullhorn....I only used to log in every 3 months and that was to change my password!
The Indeed search function is great- you can search the Indeed database directly from inside Vincere, gives you access to candidates that you'd miss if you were working on LinkedIn or Seek.

Cons

I'd be hard pushed to really pick at anything negative. It would be good to have additional search filters on the Indeed search function. Overall, I am a very happy customer.

We love the great searching ability in Vincere, finding the candidates we have in our database has never been easier with the different filters available in Vincere. Another feature I like is the ability to customize the data you want to see on the different parts of the system.

Cons

What's there not to like from this system? With their continuous updates of the system, I would love to see them bring in email notifications

I really like this product. Standout features for me are the built in LinkedIn search - this is great! Saves us lots of time to source new candidates. We were using Excel spreadsheets before we found Vincere so this is a real eye opener - and really allows us to grow our business.

Cons

Can’t think of any cons right now - but it would be great to see video calling built straight into Vincere - hopefully in the future we will have this.

A good way to keep up with the candidates applications for different projects, measure KPIs and see areas of self improvement.

Pros

CV upload function is amazing but there may be too many (unnecessary) fields which clutter the workspace. A lot of functions and ways to grade/monitor/measure your work and keep up with the KPIs. A good way to keep up with the current vacancies in the company. Great customer support!

Cons

It drove me mad that any type of obvious and necessary action needed approval from an "admin". Wanting to delete a job vacancy because it wasn't active anymore? "Please state your reason." A mistake uploading a CV to a different vacancy? You can't delete (admin! admin! admin!) or undo those actions, you have to classify the candidate as rejected. You have no autonomy once you put whatever information out there.
