Great SCM software
SCM traceabilty for the organization from different departments.
Pros
gives visibilty of good manufactured from beginning to end. PO processing from beginning to end to invoicing customers.
Cons
Users require a lot of training. Incorrect data entries can flaw system to and makes it hard to trace. A lot of administrative data entry is required. There are lots of different layers of information that needs to be learned and it can be complicated. Setting the FG part IDs to require a lot of time and making changes does not capture revisions previously made to bill of materials which can impact tractability if someone or someone new wanted to know why a change was made.

Very deep experience including tons of features
Pros
Infor has thought of everything. Everything you can think of, they already have support for. In any situation where we needed a feature, it was either already included or in the works. An incredibly deep program.
Cons
At times, the program can be too deep. It is difficult to learn and nearly impossible to master. Not always a bad thing, but there is a rather large learning curve.

What i like about using Infor is that we were able to make forecasting easily. It helps us also to properly determine the supply needed.

Add-ons are great.
Pros
My company was able to integrate more efficient processes with the use of Infor and implementation was smooth.
Cons
The only thing I can say my company did not like is the time to logon. Takes longer than most applications.

Great system for first-timers
Pros
It's relatively cheap and straightforward out of the box. If this is your first ERP/MRP and you don't have an existing system/data to migrate over, this might be a great option.
Cons
You get what you paid for with regards to customization, scripting, migration of data and technical expertise on behalf of the infor team.

Antiquated, overly complicated, and rigid system
Was probably technologically advanced....20 years ago. Front-end interface gives the user no visibility into the linkages of the hundreds of tables on the back-end. One has to open multiple screens and manually piece the work flow together. The available reports read like an engineering manual and can only be exported as text files. There is no graphical interface to quickly identify issues and resolve.
Pros
Execution speed
Cons
Lack of export options and graphical reports

Could be better
Currently using infor in a pallet pick and case pick operation. Minimal reports available to us to use. Even though it is user friendly with it being web based, it seems like it should be able to do more than what it does. We currently have to run tons of reports to ensure we have all of our orders for the day. The associate doing the task should have clear visibility to what work needs to be pulled.

Excellent system but can be difficult to learn. Very many steps to accomplish tasks. Once learned system works great.
