Fantastic User Friendly Program
Auctria is a terrific product, and I recommend it to all of my clients and colleagues. It is a great value for the money, easy to use, and has incredible functionality.
PROSAuctria is very intuitive, and so much easier to use than other nonprofit event softwares on the market. The database function is straight-forward and doesn't have too many layers to it, so data entry is really fast. The website, ticket sales component, donor/guest information, and night of event entry all sync together really well. It takes less than 5 minutes to train volunteers on guest registration, and the materials are quality. Any time that I have had an issue, which hasn't been often, Auctria will get back to me quickly with a solution.
CONSThe only thing I would change would be to make the display sheets a little more dynamic, so they could be individually altered. Perhaps if there were an option to download them as a Word file, it would make it easier to adjust text sizing, photo sizing, etc. Also, it would be great if Auctria had a mobile bidding component.

Game Changer
Our businesses overall experience with Auctria has been superb! From the software's capability to the customer support, it's all there in one package! Managing components of your organization such as all of your Donors and their past history, all of your possible attendees, communication mediums like email and text, a full fledged web site with a redesigned app experience, enterprise payment processing, and more. There hasn't been anything I couldn't do with this product that I've been able to to think of, or had suggested from our organization. It has saved me countless hours of input, and has made running our events extremely efficient!
PROSThis completely changed how our business was managing parts of the organization, and our event! It's not overly complicated to get started, and there are a LOT of advanced features if you decide you really want to get into it! Not to mention Support is readily available and Very quick to respond to any questions or problems you may have (I once deleted all of my Donors by accident, the night before an event, and they got me restored within an hour!)
CONSAs of 2022, there is honestly nothing missing from this software's capability that our business could think of
Reason for choosing Auctria
Initially it was cost. Most of the products offered on the market want a percentage cut of your profitability per item. Auctria was the only one we found with a flat fee upfront (minus credit card surcharges, which were also separate for all other products as well). As of 2022, if your organization profits less than $10k on your event then their software is completely FREE. You truly have nothing to lose to try it out! So while cost was an initial factor, I further decided on Auctria after interacting with their Support team. They respond quickly, are caring and professional, and have always found a resolution to whatever it was I was asking about.
Reasons for switching to Auctria
Needed a better way to manage all of the information, and provide a more modern way to interact with our Donors and Attendees, not to mention gain some efficiencies where possible as our staff is all 100% volunteer.

Auctria auction review
We had a successful auction but my overall rating of auctria was a 6-7 out of 10 only because I feel there are some kinks they need to work on.
PROSI liked that the customer service was quick to respond, I liked that the website portion was easy to use and create once I watched the tutorial.
CONSI didn't like that the customer service reps weren't available for calls or instant messaging help. I didn't like how difficult it was to set up the credit card system I didn't like how difficult it was to set up the kiosk part

This allows us to keep the license fee very low and more money in the pocket of the fundraiser. We do run webinars regularly, these are live events and we do open it up to Q&A at the end. A Most Successful Church Service Auction.
From the moment of acquisition to where we are almost ready to close our auction, the Auctria Launch Team has been most helpful in uploading our auction items[82], in guiding us through the setup parameters and in encouraging our team as we went live. From purchase, installation, implementation setup through close the TEAM was very responsive to our concerns. Given that this was the first time we used The Auctria application after more than 20 plus years of manual auctions it was wonderful to get rid of all the manual processes, paper shuffling, creation of e-mail winning notifications and payment follow-up effotts.
PROSThe support and encouragement of the Auctria Team (TEAM) made our implementation exceedingly successful. There were no surprises or “crashes.” The various screens were extremely easy to navigate. The search features were very user friendly especially the grouping feature. It was also very helpful that Auctria had a mirrored test version of our database so it was easy for our team to test all the functionality that we needed.
CONSAs a retired professional systems developer and senior I/T director I can confidently report that we didn’t experience and significant glitches or cons with Auctria’s software.

Great function and high quality software for a budget friendly option!
We will continue to use Auctria at our next function. It is hands down the best auction management software for the price and even exceeds some of the very expensive options. We are a small non-profit, so those expensive options are not in our budget.
PROSThe ability to customize everything including the website. Everything connected well with bidders online and in person, and our staff enjoyed using the software.
CONSThe main thing we struggled with was duplicate users. People get registered twice and sometimes it's difficult to merge them last minute. I think there should be an option that when they register, it merges them based on some personal information that is required to register, perhaps a cell phone number.

Easiest platform on the market
Will definitely use and recommend Auctria to anyone looking to manage a fundraiser or live/silent auctions. I definitely recommend paying to the more hands-on experience if this is your first time managing a fundraiser - it's more than worth it.
PROSAuctria was recommended by a fellow PTA member. While our fundraiser was a much larger scale, the system was able to handle each and every single thing I needed or thought of and it was a mere click away.
CONSUploading silent auction items on your own is a bit complicated but using the spreadsheet and uploading images makes it very simple. The initial meet/call with team was very short and I felt rushed but any questions I didn't think to ask was answered very quickly via email to the concierge.

We Love what Auctria offers us
Love it
PROSWe have found it easy to use, the online training videos make it extremely user friendly.
CONSIt was a little challenging the day of the event when we had to last minute add some stuff, I think more because we were unsure of how.

Online Fundraising Auction
Accessibility to auction details, easy to add information to existing auction items.
CONSA little time consuming trying to navigate through different tabs. There might be a help section but I fumbled my way through it.

Assistance for Non-Profit Youth Sports Organization
It was fantastic. I am not a computer savvy individual, but was able to use the system with ease.
PROSWe used the Auctria Launch services with our event only 10 days after we found Auctria. It was so very helpful. We were paired with an Auctria employee who walked us through the system and made sure we were all set. She also answered our many many questions and eased our concerns.
CONSWe really did not have any issues that I could think of. One thing that may have been a little confusing for us was the donor tab and how to make changes, but we did figure it out on our own!

Major fundraiser event and the use of Auctria
The major feature that sold me on the software was the management of our auction from the items being auctioned, to the auction itself and the close-out of the auction. It allowed us to receive the revenue from our attendees and donors faster.
PROSThe management of our event: Attendees to the event, auction items, auction sale and auction close-out.
CONSThere were no features of the software that I didn't like.

Auctria is the BEST!
We have used Auctria for several auctions and it is definitely my favorite. We were forced to use Click-Bid last year because of the production company we used for an online event, and it was not a good experience. This year we got to choose our software again and it was such a relief to be back with Auctria. Hands down the best!
PROSEverything about Auctria is very user friendly and the customer service and support is amazing!! It is super easy to enter auction items and manage all of the items and bids. Uploading photos is a breeze. The website, checkout, ticketing, bidder statements, group emails and all of the other features I use daily are very intuitive and easy to understand.
CONSIt would be nice if the online catalog could display multiple photos at the same time, instead of having a “slideshow” type view. It would be nice for maybe 4-5 photos to be visible at the same time when bidders click on an item. It is not obvious how to get to the additional photos if you are a bidder.

Great for our nonprofit!
Auctria increased the productivity of our 2019 annual fundraiser dramatically. This year we had 70% of last year’s attendance, and made $300 more than what we made gross last year. We were able to save time during check-in and checkout as the guests were processed before and after our auction. Our event stayed on time, and was even five minutes ahead of schedule for a while. Guests made comments about how professional our operation was and were impressed with the quickness and ease with which we handled their information. The reports we were able to generate regarding income helped us to understand how much money we had made very quickly, even before the evening had ended, so we were able to report our winnings to the guests to let them know how much they had helped us. Auctria is an amazing software for small nonprofit organizations that cannot afford to pay the exorbitant fees of other auction software companies. I one hundred percent would recommend this to another organization, and we will definitely be using it for all of our events in the future.
PROSI liked how easy the software was to use, learn, and teach. It had a great user interface and is very organized, with options to easily create reports. This makes data sharing an easy process.
CONSThere was not a lot to dislike about the Auctria software. It was well described and demonstrated on the website, easy to understand, easy to purchase and implement. I really cannot think of anything I dislike.

Auctria fit within our organization’s budget for the event. It was described and demonstrated very well on the website, and we were able to get a lot of information about the product without having to schedule a consultation. I appreciated this greatly, as the process saved me a lot of time compared to what I had to go through with other companies that withheld the cost of their service and what their service provided. Auctria takes a modern approach to auction management and I appreciate the DIY support that greatly improved our event.

"Take a Taste Out of Crime Online" First Time
While using an online auction website for the first time did involve much work and a lot of learning, in hindsight, it was much easier and less complicated than I thought it would be. Kudos to a top-notch support team; each representative was spot-on with prompt responses and (very patient) assistance. If found the Facebook page extremely helpful; I appreciated the Facebook group where I could pose questions to "experienced" event planners in search of best practices used by others. We have been toying with adding online bidding options to our in-person event for several years. We have received such overwhelming and positive response to the auction (professional appearance, ease of use), we have begun talking about how to perhaps incorporate technology (Auctria's platform!) in our 2021 event.
PROSSince 2015 and prior to this year, we had been using the Auctria platform for our in-person event which included upwards of 160 silent auction items, 18 bucket raffles items, and "big item" raffles. It worked well to house sponsor and donor data as well as auction item information and details. Printing up pen-to-paper bid sheets was easy and simple. With COVID19 restrictions, we had to move our fundraiser to an virtual event. Since much of our data was already entered into Auctria, it was easy to re-categorizing pieces from "silent" to "online." It was turn-key! Everything was linked and automatically connected to the auction website catalog pages. Our task then became taking and uploading pictures (using a phone camera!), and creating a website.
CONSI found that some of the website templates for the auction website were cumbersome and limiting. In adding verbiage to the website homepage, I would have liked to have had more flexibility in font size choices and clearer information about padding and margins in text row blocks (this was the first time I have ever used a negative margin setting!!). My work around was to create a JPG text block and upload it as a picture. While not a software issue, I found the User Guide drill-down method for linking additional information difficult to follow. Often times, I would click on links which suggested other links, which suggested even more links, and I would fink myself lost looking for the solution or answer to a question. On the other hand, tech support is amazing!

Great fundraising event with Auctria's help along the way
When I'm not volunteering my time for the school I'm an IT manager and software engineer. I began by doing a pretty substantial product comparison before we chose Auctria. After comparing Auctria to other products that cost 10x as much I had two main concerns: 1. How can it be so much more affordable than the competition (what's wrong with it)? 2. No phone or night-of support. After using the product to host a fundraising event with an online/mobile silent auction with on-site kiosks, mobile and remote bidde, a live auction, games, and event with ticket sales and related website, I can say I was amazed at the value and support we received. The product has a ton of well-designed functionality built in. I'd like to feel like we used most of it but there were still areas we didn't touch. As for the support, I have to agree with what many others have said. I've never seen such responsive e-mail support and I've been in the industry for 20 years. We must have sent at least 20 e-mails in the few months we had. They always responded quickly; at most by the next business day, but often the same day and sometimes within minutes. More importantly their responses were always very helpful. None of that having to battle through two levels of support before you get to anyone that knows anything. Sometimes, rather than just explain how to do something, they would make a change for us and then explain the "how". They have good documentation and were always very courteous and helpful.
PROSExcellent price. Excellent support. Well-designed flexible platform that supported our needs. Modern simple-to-use interface with well thought-out workflows such as check-in/out. Built-in support for credit cards. Built-in ways to engage with bidders, donors, etc. Built-in reporting, export and import functionality.
CONSLack of premium support option for off-hours support the night of the event (at least at the time). We did fine without it but I can understand that being a deal breaker for some. It nearly was for me, but I'm glad we decided to go with Auctria. At first we were planning to use the live auction website tool for the live auction, but found it was easier to get the presentation we wanted using Powerpoint. With all the enhancements they keep making that can very well have changed by now.
