Ardour is an on-premise open source solution that helps businesses upload, record, and edit audio clips on Linux, MacOS and Windows devices. Editors can extract soundtracks from imported videos, add blank frames, and route multichannel tracks to separate mixer strips. Ardour allows organizations to combine master records and individual tracks, undo/redo edits and maintain video-frame granularity across tracks. Managers can view the frame-to-frame timeline of the video and utilize the stop and forget feature to cancel a recording pass and recover disk spaces. This software had all of the 10 features in the comparison. There are a lot of help resources due to the very large community of developers and users, and lot of tutorials. this software has no limit of the number of tracks and the number of channels.

Cons

The timestretching algorithm (rubberband i think) )is a little less efficient than protool's for example
