The best and most creative music production software.

At first it is a bit confusing to use. You will be stuck for a little bit and not know what to do or how it works.

As musicians we can get a very rich quality export from this software. I made much  more songs ,advertisment audios ,outros  from Live...very easy to use.

The interface is a little bit confusing and there is too much to look at.

The user community is amazing and the sonic sound output.

The overall customizability of Ableton is amazing. Especially, when used in combination with Max for Live plugins.

It is a professional mastering software that gives you all the tools of mixing & mastering your mixdown to perfection.

Always being a fan of open source and community contributions makes this software on the whole much more of an integrated and firmly entrenched cultural software.

Limited to 16 audio tracks. If you want to use Ableton's full potential prepare yourself to pay 650.

Have had such a great experience with their support team reordering parts I needed for a controller and issues within the software.

If you don't know anything, it will be very hard to start. Also, I don't like that Ableton offer a very small amount of plugins.

The software can do a whole lot of things, but in my experience that has also made it difficult to learn.

Ableton's interface is outstanding & cannot be compared with any other software, the interface and the way of working allows you to work as fast and accurate as it gets.

Everything is integrated into one window, which really helps the workflow. It eliminates the need for cluttering multiple windows plus plugins, thus giving it a very clean and enjoyable experience.

I like the huge Virtual Instruments in the Library of LIVE. Ableton have a good integration for the most Hardware on  the Market.

Great for music production, arranging, and performing. Great for beginners and experts as well.

I love the layout and the workflow options. It's so dang intuitive and easy to operate that I've been contemplating moving over to Ableton after years using Logic.

I would alter the speed / pitch of sample inside of Ableton then export those files to my hardware digital samplers for further sound manipulation and composition.

The provision to convert audio file into piano role [and this has been a prayer answered to beat makers. Sampling has not been difficult anymore.

Extremely enjoyable late night sessions. Have purchased an Ableton Push because of the greater flexibility to get away from the computer and this has enhanced my creativity (and my rhythm!).

It's the ratio between amazing features and the price. It blows my mind that such a beast of a DAW with all it's features is cheaper than some of it's competitors.

The pitch and tempo shifting capabilities, the customization of sounds with Mac for Live effects, and the simple bus routing make it a joy to use.

I love the fact that we can run tracks and control them live. It is great that we can put together a set list and customize every little detail of what we want to hear.

The onboarding guidelines are pretty simple and you can start learning and using the tool and make some music in one single day.

It's kind of an odd mix of skeuemorphic and minimal design which makes everything seem a bit disjointed.

Not only for low budget is good, but also is open source, it’s the best daw for computer with low resources, the almost perfect daw.

Reaper made this much more fun and easier than using traditional heavy softwares such as Sonar and Cubase.

I use Reaper for my own musical productions with no more than 10-12 tracks.

Reaper has opened up several workflow improvements and allows better collaboration with other reaper users. VST support is strong and the stability under load improves productivity.

Reaper is just a fun software to use, I use it with ease and my only musical background is an intetmediate guitar knowledge.

Reaper has a generous trial period with no feature locks and then, it's available after a one time purchase at a reasonable price, which is perfect for independent artists.

Easily the best DAW an first time user would like.

The only problems I've run into have involved things that I overlooked or didn't completely understand. I have been able to fix them, easily though not always quickly.

The UI can be a little scary and old fashioned but there are tons of themes.

It surprised me when the app inform me that I would be charged within the 3rd time using it. I hate how money hungry it seem.

I don't like the default color scheme of REAPER, but with a wide variety of downloadable skins in the internet, a user doesn't have to settle for REAPER's default appearance.

Most plugins that you find built into the software is more than enough for even Grammy winning recordings. It simply is the best software you could use for audio and media production.

Multi monitor support is great - being able to lay out the tracks effects and instruments on screen as I want.

Reaper is just a very easy software to use for up and coming artists. It's cheap and intuitive, it's effective at its job and amusing.

Therefore on the side of in built and integrated virtual instruments, Reaper covers all grounds to allow any user to expand capabilities within it.

The only downside of Reaper I can think of is that it doesn't come with a suite of cutting edge plug-ins or have an option to purchase different tiers of the program with elite plugins included.

Very intuitive, but even if there is something that isnt clear, the community have great in depth tutorials.

Starting off young and having no money to spare, REAPER was a god-send. It helped me to scale my business and get better projects while not making a huge dent in the bank.

It allows third party integration and automation in Reaper is perfect.

The software is strong and the community is stronger. There is absolutely no place for regrets.

It is easy to use, easy to watch, you have a great work flow with the interface and also the native plugins are so good and have a great quality.

The wide array of included plugins, with industry leading levels of customization - this is why REAPER is one of the best in the industry.

I have not had any issues so far, however having previously been using Garageband, I miss the built in drummers it has available.

Reaper fits my needs the best. I love that the developers are conbstantly updating it and adding new features.

The only trouble I had with this software are the tutorials but they can be found by just searching the tool name on google or youtube.

I enjoy the hovering over the setting and education of what it would do. As well the sound quality captured is good.

Reaper is so easy to use and learn with lots of customizability for how you want your layout to look. I've mixed literally thousands of hours in the program and it's the only program I mix with now.

Reaper is light, fast, cheap, effective, intuitive, fun to use. I tried last 3 decades many other music production softwares, most of them are huge slow monsters, full of bugs.

The easy layout and use and compatibility with most MiDi controllers. Weather YAMAHA, M-AUDIO or AKAI it still rocks fine.

But sometimes it just has some bugs. But maybe this is a problem with my computer memory.

The program offers such deep ability for configuration that I find myself forcing my attention to the few basic features I need to mix my audio. It's an amazing program for an extremely low price.
