I love the recording. I love that the sessions are separated into "projects" so I can know what is involved in each group. I love the ability to allow this to be where I distribute my podcast from and even including a website for my podcast. This will be the website I use for a long time to work on my podcast. Once I did so, I was able to record my first video podcast episode and share it on my streaming platforms. Overall, Riverside has made it very easy to edit and share my episode, allowing me to record the full episode then helping me to get all the different things I needed for my different platforms including clips, cover art, audio files and more. I love how many options are available for me to create what I need all in one app. Overall, the layout is simple and easy to use. I can see myself using Riverside for an extended period of time for all my podcast needs. Cons: I was having problems recording my first time with my guest because of connection issues on both sides. Riverside does take a lot of strength for a computer to run so we did have to record on our phones to get thee best experience so if their is a way to lighten to lighten to demand on computers so that connection issues don't bring recording problems, that would be great. I do wish that grouping the clips based on creation would be easier. I would love to share my clips with my guests so they can have access to their clips but without them separated by when I created them, it makes it hard to share with the guests if they wanted clips for themselves. I was just running into some issues with Riverside updating to my most recent episodes from Spotify. I put in a new link for my podcast on Spotify and the first two episodes are the only one's appearing on my dashboard. Read More NE Nick E. It's not perfect but I would say it's a good experience. I like that they are always adding new things. It's easy to record and editing has gotten a lot easier. Cons: It's still very glitchy. We I'm editing the buffering sometimes drives me mad. i don't know if it's them or my wifi connection. And when I used the VideoDub to edit a word in a Magic Clip it also changed the word not just in that clip but in the longer episode and I didn't like the way it sounds. Couldn't change it back. I would recommend it 10 out of 10. It's a great starting place and it's also a great place to continue. I'm using it for my podcast. We record we don't use it to stream and it's been great. The AI integration has been wonderful the way that you can just type in there and ask it to make an edit for you and it'll ask follow-up questions and then do the cut and then ask if that's okay and if you want any changes it's been great. I was starting from a place where I knew what I wanted to do and I had a vision and a passion but I didn't really have all of the technical know-how and even more so the time to get to know the system and I feel like Riverside from the start was very intuitive. It's very secure. I've never had any issues with login or any sort of security breaches. Any issues I've ever had with customer support as far as like billing, follow-up or changing cards or updating card info. It's all been really easy. My ability to create the projects that I envision have absolutely been possible because of Riverside. Me and my team are able to communicate in a way that's so effective. I shared a link with my co-host when we first got the Riverside studio set up and he's been able to just repeat, get right in the studio every time there's never any fuss. We don't ever have sound issues with the premium version which is so worth it. You get all the different magic studio features that are just insurmountable and I'm even waiting for my show to grow in a way to where we can utilize the feature where someone is just in there and is actually just playing the producer role controlling the camera, switching the media doing that sort of thing. So overall 10 out of 10 great products would recommend absolutely. Cons: There were some limitations about Riverside that I didn't like. For example, a lot of the really fancy green screen effects and floating banners and things like that aren't really big, but I also realized that wasn't really going to add value the way I thought it would to a product if it didn't already have value. The videos and audio remains crisp, the clips it pulls are ACTUALLY GOOD. So many programs swear they can auto clip but they pull awkward ones or ones that wouldn't get much engagement. It's also very accurate with it's automatic titling and chapters. The editing tools are also great if you're looking for basic clipping. Love it.
