I know there are lots of more advanced features that some people choose to use, but I have honestly never needed them. Riverside does everything for me, including cleanup, editing, hosting and creating all my promotional materials. It’s awesome! It's not perfect but I would say it's a good experience. I like that they are always adding new things. It's easy to record and editing has gotten a lot easier. Cons: It's still very glitchy. We I'm editing the buffering sometimes drives me mad. i don't know if it's them or my wifi connection. And when I used the VideoDub to edit a word in a Magic Clip it also changed the word not just in that clip but in the longer episode and I didn't like the way it sounds. Couldn't change it back. If not connected to strong wifi (which some people aren't) we see video become grainy, choppy, and sometimes we even lose the footage. I appreciate having the opportunity to edit the individual audio files for each participant in the recording. It has been helpful when a background noise needed to be removed from one audio file and saved the interview for me! Cons: The platform is limited to using specific web browsers, and this has been an issue for my guests who don't use Chrome. I've also had recording sessions where there was a lag in the video feed, and that caused my guests to get frustrated during those times.
