Pros:

IoT can connect to billions of devices and in realtime which helps to collect data and have it uo to date without any delay accross multiple lications all at one time.

Cons:

AWS IoT does not have any free trail and so one cannot test it out without paying fee first.

AWS IoT was a no brainer to add to the rest of our AWS stack. It has worked flawlessly, and gives us and our clients peace of mind as a best of breed solution. You get what you pay for, so keep an eye on costs.

AWS IoT offers the most extensive, scalable and secure solution for all our IoT needs. It can be configured and deployed for the most complex instances, offering seamless integration with the rest of our AWS stack. AWS allows for unlimited growth and scaling.

Cons:

Steep learning curve and just implementing simple instances can be daunting for new users. Being AWS, cost structures are complex and costs can quickly rise.

Effortless Integration and communication with AWS IoT

Generally, its very useful to communicate between devices outside of AWS and any resources in AWS because we can just simply create and download a certificate in our devices. It also provides a good UI to test connections to my devices through publishing/subscribing to MQTT topics. The best thing of AWS IoT is that no learning curve. Its very easy to use

Pros:

very easy to use with security we don't care about. It has great integration with other webservices running in AWS VPC like EC2 and makes communicate easy between any AWS services and any devices.

Cons:

Not so much other than cost? because it could cost alot depending on the scale and the number of devices we add even though it has free tier.
