### About ACCELQ

ACCELQ is a cloud-based platform for continuous functional & API automation testing which utilizes ‘natural language programming’ and application abstraction to enable testing at any stage of app development. Out-of-the-box support is offered for a range of the latest application development technologies, including HTML5, Bootstrap, Kendo, and Google Material design, and dynamic web app technologies such as Angular JS.

ACCELQ’s App Universe and predictive scenario designer enable the development of test scenarios based on path analysis and predictive analytics, and unique test data permutations are determined to provide coverage for all possible business process scenarios. Application abstraction enables test planning, design, creation and execution alongside application development, so progress can be made at any level of application availability, stability or readiness. The reconciliation engine automatically realises the abstraction when the app is ready for launch.

‘Natural Language programming’ in ACCELQ allows users to develop test logic using natural English instead of code, with the aim of making the process of building complex navigation and business validation logic mor...

e intuitive. The analytic runtime engine utilizes advanced multi-step heuristics to detect changes to application elements, and automatically adapts to ensure reliable test executions. Embedding of critical server-side API validations alongside front-end testing ensures 360-degree quality coverage, and users can accomplish verifications for response times, status, occurrence, header values, content, and more through a wizard-based approach. The continuous action dashboard provides an overview of software development lifecycle (SDLC) status, and allows users to visualize failure density and patterns.

Easy setup, catching the bugs early and both frontend and backend tests run locally without hassle

4

We needed both frontend and backend testing, and all the scheduled tests needed to run locally on our own servers due to safety concerns for customer data, and AccelQ could give us that. Whenever I've run into problems or needed assistance on how to solve a task, I've always gotten quick help from support to find a solution. Scheduled tests are predictable, and we are catching more bugs than before at an earlier stage, with an average of 1-3 per week. More expensive than the others, and that was a discussion that almost changed the decision at first, but after I started using it, I do not regret the decision.

Functionality

Pros:

Been easy to learn, and little technical insight is needed to also cover more detailed and backend testing on my own with predefined commands. It's been great to be able to cover also more detailed and backend testing without involving developers for some additional code. The overview of the tests are clear and readable, and I like the easy switch between recording and not recording to be able to better change where in the test I need to continue working

Cons:

I'm missing more flexibility in views to work with and compare more in parallel to work faster. Also missing more focus on time management of the tests, but have hopes that the new dashboard with it's flexibility in setup also will cover this over time.

Reasons for choosing ACCELQ

After checking reviews, we decided to test these 2 products. The decision went in favor of AccelQ because of the possibility of scheduled tests running locally and not on an offbroad server, presentation of tests, possibility to manage with nocode commands for both frontend and backend testing.

Solid Automation Tool That's Easy to Pick Up

5

Overall AccelQ has been a good fit for our test automation needs. It's user friendly and doesn't take long to get the hang of, which makes onboarding a lot smoother. The low-code setup lowers the barrier to entry and the support has been reliable when we've needed it.

Functionality

Pros:

AccelQ has been a solid tool for building out test automation without needing to write a ton of code. The codeless/low-code approach is user friendly and pretty quick to pick up — you don't need a heavy technical background to get moving. The support team is responsive and helpful when you run into issues.

Cons:

Like any automation tool, you'll run into random failures that aren't really AccelQ's fault — flaky behavior during playback that can be hard to pin down. It's not a dealbreaker, just part of the territory with test automation in general.

Pros:

Our sprints were getting bottlenecked at QA. We needed something the team could actually keep up with, not a tool that created its own backlog. ACCELQ fit in without much friction ... pipeline integration worked, parallel runs cut down regression time noticeably. The AI autopilot for scalable enterprise testing helped us streamline execution while the advanced logic insights and smart analytics gave the team far better visibility into failure and coverage gaps. It's not flashy but it does what it promises, which is what we actually needed.

Cons:
