An additional OCR mode is something that would be welcome as the ability to enter text in a precise way. A thin client interface can always be improved, and other tasks could also be automated using panels and task editors. There isn't much to criticize concerning AA right now, the new UI in Automation anywhere's cloud version looks big though - like a word processing software. The debugger has too few options and it would have been better if it made the code more readable. Because of how large the text editor is, when used on bigger monitors, it was difficult to browse through longer pieces of code. Using another kind of file manager for saving projects could also have helped here.

I love the way the drag and drop features are incorporated so the developer can focus more on semantics rather than the syntax. The ease of variable declaration, default variables and clipboard functionality does make it easier to develop as well as manage various elements of the program. Very rarely the common functions like Object cloning, Loop while *** exists fail and this kind of issues happen 2 times out of 300 times. If tool find any other options for RCA it would be more helpful on these rare scenarios.

AA is one of the best RPA tools that I have ever used. It's very user-friendly and even if a person is from a non-technical background, still they can manage to automate some of their basic mundane processes.

When it comes to Citrix automation, AA doesn't provide enough support or there are very few features or commands available to automate Citrix or mainframe applications.

While automating internal applications, I've solved many problems that are related to commands. I see that the ability to run scripts is the added advantage of AA which is very beneficiary in case built-in commands fail to solve the problems.

Best thing about Automation Anywhere is to automate things with high security and also to reduce our manual efforts that frees up time to innovate. Even by adhering to regulatory compliance, we can get the tasks done more efficiently through Automation Anywhere.

There were few commands which needs improvement in behavior to solve problems like "selecting from drop-down", "Checking/Unchecking fields" etc. The available commands of AA can be improved to solve varying problems.

Best thing I like about the software is that it has number of instructions more than 500 which can cater the requirements of number of business processes. You should not know programming to start work with this. This has a credential vault to store the credentials used in the business process which are then saved as encrypted credentials.

If there is a sudden shutdown or when we restart the PC, have to manually start services through the Task Manager

Furthermore, I have held severeal AA training sessions, and in every session the participants have been overwhelmed by how easy it is to use and navigate in. Also, there is a big knowledge portal. You can share your bots in the bot store (or download other bots), and you can discuss your thoughts with peers on A-people.

I really like how easy it is to use! You quickly get a feeling about how to use the commands, and what opportunities you have in the software. The software is so easy to use, that I bet you can automate your first process within hours (maybe even minutes?)

I could be nice to be able to change the background color, so you can have it in developer mode. Also, it could be nice to be able to collapse your statements - on the other hand, if forces you to create smaller bots and think re-usability.

The best thing about this software is the user interface. It is pretty user friendly and even a common man with the necessary IT background will be able to grasp it quickly. Other than that, it has plenty of commands which makes all the tiring Repetitive processes to be completed on a click.

The dependency between CR and client. If that could be reduced to some extent, it will be a path breaking software.
