Pros:

A notable advantage is its broad compatibility with other programs, such as the JIRA software that allows for error tracking in tests. In addition, TestComplete's user-friendly interface makes it almost intuitive to use.

Cons:

Among its disadvantages I assimilate two: the first is the cost, which makes it a tool for business use and not for individuals, and the second is related, since it requires powerful machines so that it does not show any slowdown. But in general terms, for a business team, it is more than fine.

Great for desktop apps and for not automation experience

Pros:

I use for mobile testing also for a Desktop application -Easy to use (the recorder is great) -It supports VBscript and Python!! -It is one of the best framework for desktop app, it will make you save lot of time and headache -Key features and data driven features works fine (I prefer Gherkin language)

Cons:

Tescomplete is a great tool especially if you need to test a desktop app, but it is a little bit expensive and it has the same features than an opensource framework

Good Tool for Testing Automation

its good tool for testing automation . the IOS devices direct connection to the Testcomplate console option is available but call it as legacy support . it mean the concept of execution on the device will be depreciated in future and we need to depend additional tool like a BIT-BAR which will cost additionally

1. VB script support 2. it supports Functional and GUI testing, Unit testing and Regression testing. 3. we can create once and run multiple times(Test of record and playback). 4. professional support

Cons:

1. iOS device support to be enhanced, sometime we will get compatibility release after few month from iOS release date . 2. The load Testing requires external (cloud) licenses (example BITBAR) . additional cost involved 3.The cost of TestComplete is higher and so that we also considered open-source tools like Selenium.

nice UI, ease of use, and support to different platforms. Also ease of use to test in different browsers. Easy to understand automated scripts & in last good customer support.

Cons:

some improvement in respect to support to different platform ,specially mobile. Before releasing any updates team should check each & every corner of system to make error free.

Pros:

TestComplete's GUI was user friendly and I was able to navigate through the software easily. I liked that I was able to test on different platforms: web, mobile.

Cons:

It was not easy to set up automated test scripts especially for a person with little or no technical/coding experience.

I am still new to Test Complete, but from what I have seen so far, it is a great tool.

Pros:

What I like about the Test Complete software is that it seems like the learning curve is not too steep. I am, however, still pretty new in the use of then software and still basically reviewing. It's not too bad.

Cons:

This might just be for me. I have no experience in writing Test Scripts so It might be a while before I will utilize these features.
