It serves a good purpose for B2B services

Overall they have been very good. Initially there were some hiccups at the start, but the support team worked hard to iron these out and as such provided a solution to us, not only the ability to use ecommerce through B2B means but redesign our website.

PROS

The software is generally easy to use when you have a good grasp on the basic features. It does exactly what you need it to do which is list products and add info with some basic control features.

CONS

It occasionally feels clunky, no web based version (yet) but hear they may be working on something web based in the future. Need some technical ability to make sense of it initially, but it is very useable. Not massively customisable once you have the template in place but the support is very good should you get issues or want backend changes.

Their experience with integrating our sage software to the website was very important, and gob2b clearly had a lot of experience in this area. I wanted to put the directors minds at rest knowing that the accounting software would streamline easily with the website and that from start ot finish could keep us informed which they did.

Effective and simple

Excellent B2B ecommerce/Sage 200 integration solution

Overall, I am very pleased with the GoB2B’s platform and the customer service they offer. Since moving to their platform, we’ve seen continuous growth across the ecommerce side of the business. The platform has met not only our needs, but also the needs of our customers, and the feedback we get from our customers is that they’re happy with our website, it’s user friendly, easy to navigate and provides a hassle-free buying experience. Overall, I’d highly recommend using GoB2B if you’re a B2B business using a complex ERP system such as Sage 200!

PROS

Seamless integration with our Sage200 ERP system makes managing our website and product listings very simple. The software is also very customisable, providing flexibility to meet a variety of different business requirements and processes. For example, a lot of our corporate customers often have bespoke purchasing requirements, and GoB2B can adapt the website to provide tailored solutions to meet each customer’s individual needs – this is a big win for us. From a customer experience perspective, GoB2B are great and are very quick to respond to simple requests, through to more technical based requests. They know their product inside out, which is reassuring as a customer. Most importantly, our ecommerce sales have increased MOM/YOY since moving our website to GoB2B’s platform.

CONS

As the websites are template based, it can be quite limiting in how you display product information or imagery. Any customisation generally requires a support ticket to be raised for the work to be implemented. It would be useful if there were more ‘out of the box’ page templates or modules available, so that a website administrator has a little more flexibility when designing pages and laying out content, without needing to raise a support ticket. The software is initially quite hard to get your head around, but once you have it sussed, it’s straightforward to use. GoB2B are always on hand to help though! Administrator/dashboard reporting could be improved – it would be nice to see a ‘live’ dashboard with various filters available to quickly review performance across a variety of different data points.

Get Going Online in No Time!

The overall experience with GOb2b has been a positive one and we are in the process of transitioning some more of our sites over to the platform and into their development. They are knowledgeable about their products, attentive, and quick to jump on any issues although the platform has been very stable from the outset. Key also has been the team's advanced knowledge of the SAGE integration that makes the ongoing business process aligned and efficient.

PROS

Using the latest SaaS Software we were able to build and transition to our new website in double-quick time and were immediately taken by how the site scaled and performed on mobile devices. Loading our products via the SAGE integration interface was straightforward as was building the pages and uploading various imagery. As an Administrator, there is good control of the content on the site going forward so you can quickly adapt to changing market conditions.

CONS

Being a templated product there are certain restrictions to what can be achieved in the short term but with the goal of being up and running fast this was not necessarily a bad thing and everything developmental can be picked up in a second phase.

e-commerce sales boost

We needed an e-commerce package to allow customers to place orders, see stock levels and pay invoices. All things are covered to an extent with this package. To get to the next level we need to move to another database something we are looking into at present but overall this current setup is providing a great resource to our business. Minor speed issues were dealt with in a systematic way and the expertise of [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is second to none when things need that extra push.

PROS

Gob2b had most of the requirements we needed straight out of the box additions were written for us to manage our customers the way we wanted. Sales have been boosted since our customers have the ability to see stock availability and the option to provide alternatives when out of stock. Our sales team are able to load orders while on the road with customers seeing live stock figures. The ability to import orders taken from spreadsheets has been a real-time saver.

CONS

Connectivity with our Sage 50 database was sluggish to begin with and we had to do an overhaul of our network and server to get decent speed. This still is a bugbear but is more to do with Sage 50 than the Gob2b software. The ability to offer early settlement discounts on the software has been out of reach for us. This is something we have to do manually after orders are paid.

New website

We are very happy with our overall experience with Gob2b. We have been with the company a number of years now and we won't be looking to go elsewhere. When we created a new website, Gob2b were able to carry everything across from our old website. The customer service team help very promptly and any issues with the website get sorted thoroughly and straight away. Highly recommend Gob2b to other businesses.

Gob2b ran our old website for a number of years and have created our new website for us very recently. They were super helpful and made sure everything ran exactly how we created it. Problems we came across in the initial set up, were sorted straight away and any teething problems since have been dealt with promptly. They ran through the shopfront software with us and explained how to use it. They are very professional and go they extra mile to sort any problems or queries. They also gave us lessons on how to use the software and how to navigate the new website. We would highly recommend to other businesses and look forward to our continued business with them.

CONS

Shopfront can be quite intimidating at first but Gob2b showed us how to use it and were very helpful. Our questions were answered straight away and we were never left in the dark!

Technical expertise you can rely on time and time again!

They have definitely got a thorough understanding of modern day websites, SEO separation and implementation. The extra features they offer as in additional departmental access, order approval systems and the bespoke work that's been completed ad-hoc has assisted in helping us grow online, and more importantly, to maintain the presence we have established.

PROS

Ease of use and rigidity. Failure is very rare and a complete reliance on online integration with our ERP system (Sage 200) is flawless. Any odd hiccups are dealt with effectively, efficiently and with any concerns in operations at the core of their timely solutions.

CONS

Customisable features have to go through a requesting ticketing system, where as on other services it's been fairly straight forward to achieve these yourself, as the feature have been implemented in the background and are easily accessible to be turned on or off.

A great and top-of-the-range experience with GoB2B. We have been using GoB2B for many years, who are always bringing out new ideas / integrations, new updates & are always around for support whenever you would need it, no matter the day or time. Always available to meet any needs you have, whether custom or simple changes! Highly recommended!

Many features that have been customized to fit our needs and uses, which are custom to our website. Fast & quick response times, with a response back within a matter of minutes if we have any questions or issues. 24/7 support, meaning we can always contact the team if there is an issue with our service at any point of time, no matter what the time or day is! Great integration with the Sage system, allowing orders to be processed through our system with no issues or hassle.

Ideal for B2B ecommerce with Sage 200 integration

Very good. GOb2b designed the platform themselves so they know it inside out. They have carried out bespoke work for us over the years when we want a facility which isn't included with the standard package. Support is good. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the team at GOb2b are responsive, helpful and able to think outside of the box.

PROS

GOb2b is an ecommerce platform and CMS system all in one. It integrates with Sage 200 in terms of stock levels, stock prices, customer accounts, customer discounts, and it automates the sales order process for online orders, calculating shipping prices, posting orders through to Sage, and creating customer accounts in the Sage for new customers who order online. It also includes a powerful CMS system for managing product catalogue/departments, product pages, and content pages on the website. Formatting text for product descriptions and content pages is easy with GOb2b because it uses Markdown Syntax, an much easier formatting code than HTML - HTML can also be used, however, if necessary.

CONS

There are very few features I dislike about GOb2b as a platform - those I do dislike are just 'niggly', that would get with any software.

Reason for choosing GOb2b

Comparing with the other ecommerce platforms on the market, GOb2b was the best solution for ecommerce with Sage integration, B2B and B2C functionality, and a CMS system so we could have full editing control over our website.

Great for B2B businesses

We have found since using gob2b that selling online to our customers has been extremely easy and have seen great use of the website by both our customers, reps and members of the public wanting to browse our range.

PROS

The current software model is very user friendly and simple to run daily operations such as adding or amending products, setting up new online customers and running reports. There are many features that a B2B company would need to sell online and there is also the option to have bespoke features added which we have done previously with great results. The support service is very good and the team are always on hand to help with technical queries or additional training for the platform.

CONS

As a company we would like more creative design control from the software, so that we can re design the homepage, add landing or product department pages, and have more control over how these look online without opening tickets with Gob2b to do this for us.

GOb2b Application for Publisher

At the development stage, I was very impressed with GOb2b's understanding of our requirements and the resulting bespoke elements of the software that met those requirements. Since the software went live in 2019 I have had very little need to contact, other than the occasional support call, which is how things should be.

PROS

Integration to our Sage 200 accounting makes this software extremely efficient. Uploading of products directly into the software is quick and easy as the detail is extracted from Sage. Conversely, the software handles multiple price bands and product group discounts specified in Sage very effectively, to ensure that the correct prices of thousands of products are always displayed to each customer.

CONS

The initial set-up took quite a bit longer than anticipated, largely due to the complicated range of shipping rates we use, but since this issue was overcome we have experienced hardly any problems with the software and certainly none of any significance.

We as a company have been a client of GOb2b for 13 years. GOb2b provide all our website solutions. When we have approached the GOb2b team with a solution to a requirement, the GOb2b team have worked with us to achieve what is required. Their team is professional, motivated, friendly and rooted to the product and the business. From the first point of contact to today, we are overjoyed to be working with GOb2b.

The simplicity of connecting and updating SKU information to Sage. Each and every member of the team supporting you with solutions which work for you and your business model. A can do approach with a willingness to work with you. Flexibility to produce a product which is styled to your design guidelines with the core functionality built within.

CONS

Having the location constrained to your Sage server. A cloud based solution would be ideal.

Great B2B service with extras

We have requirements from our customers that we must have an online ordering solution and GOb2b provided that as required. Very good experience with GOb2b with getting our website up and running as well as additional bespoke services we requested. They have an excellent knowledge of how to best integrate to our Sage system and helped move a lot of our sales ordering over to our online presence.

PROS

Will listen to the requirements and come back with solutions either by configuring the website or providing options for bespoke work. We manage our site using the provided application and is relatively easy to do make the changes needed. The support service always answer the phone quickly and are able to resolve any issues in a timely manner.

CONS

Application is a little clunky, will be good when the web version is released. More delivery options will be nice to have. Little options for making basic site changes and need to go through a support ticket.

Generally we feel this move to work with GOb2b has been a resounding success. It has enabled us to have the functionality of a bespoke built website. But with the ability to change it daily as we see fit. To control the content on the website is beneficial for a company who has many products. The service and support received from the staff is also very good.

PROS

The software package is completely controlled by us. We are able to upload content at any time of the day and this is only limited by the man hours we are able to give it as a business. Any changes required to the website handled by GOb2b are done quickly and efficiently. The package is extremely easy to use and navigate and was able to pick up the software really quickly.

CONS

There are no stand out issues with the software. When any issues might arise they are relayed to GOb2b and this is quickly sorted out.

Good Software Overall

The software is fine, the company has added several bespoke features for us and their level of support is fantastic. Based on the combination of the software and the people, I would definitely recommend this product.

PROS

The software is easy to use and gives us a good level of freedom in controlling what displays on our website. We rarely require additional support due to lack of editing capabilities, so it means we can get on with our work easily. The software is very easy to use, so computer literate staff can learn how to use the software fairly quickly.

CONS

One main feature we would love to see is group import as importing individual items can be very time consuming. Also being able to drag a group of products into another folder by selecting the group rather than having to put them into a folder would be helpful.

Great Customer Service

Overall very pleased with the product and the customer service as well. It gave us confidence when making decisions and gives us access to wide range of information in seconds. Also our customers are very happy with the website, is user friendly and easy to navigate when shopping.

PROS

The customer support and response to issues is quick, and any bespoke items we wished to implement were discussed over the phone and then executed by the team. When we have emergency issues they are always doing the extra mile in order to help us solve the problem. Additionally the team is always happy to train or guide any new staff member. The software gives vital information about the business without to complicate the navigation menu, and is easy to use, with a friendly interface that allows us to access multiple reports.

CONS

I know that promotions is a work in progress, we would like the software to give us more options when it comes to promotions to our customers.

We can take orders from all over the world any time of day. eCommerce website integrated with our Sage system runs so smoothly and it is super easy to maintain and update. Offering our customers live stock when they order has proved most popular, we all like to be confident our order will be fulfilled.

CONS

There is always room for improvement as you will always want to add another feature or add something that is unique to your business. GOb2b bespoke solutions will meet that particular need.

Great service, great product, unique on the market.

our sales have improved and cost of sales reduced. i highly recomend it as a bridge between sage and ecommerce. it can also be used by the sales agents on the field as the software has a facilitty that allows access to multiple accounts by each agent. overhall, the product is quite unique. we have done our reserach prior to going into a contract with them and we couldn't find on the market anything similar that would fulfill our requirments. Also to mention that the team was able to customise the product in order to work for our company.

PROS

the product is user friendly, perfect connected with our sage 50.

CONS

the software is unable to show the actuall discount value on the product. i.e if you have an item that normal cost is £2 and on offer is £1.50, the website is only showing the discount at the end of the order, as a value.

Individualised development

They have taken our outdated Opencart shop platform and provided a state of the art new shopping platform with ultimate versatility.

An Exceptional B2B Software Company

An exceptional company both to initiate the implementation of the software but also the redesign and updating of the visual aspects of the website, they are always happy to help and resolve issues as quickly as possible. All the staff are very knowledgeable within their specific field.

PROS

The integration with Sage 200, live stock and the ability to update items and pricing at the press of a button. The organic SEO's produced from the software is fantastic, you just leave it to do its thing in the back ground

A great company to deal with

GoB2B's support has been excellent, and their integration works well.

PROS

GoB2B integrates tightly with our Sage system, and is especially good at handling pricing. Other software options couldn't handle Sage's pricing system, which can be a little complex. We were able to use the import functionality of the CMS system to produce spreadsheets for importing product data, which saved on overall time an effort required.

CONS

The CMS tool could be modernised somewhat, but I believe a re-vamp of this is in the works.

Easy To Use and Full Featured eCommerce Tool

PROS

We use this for our customers to order directly from us. We have recently surveyed our customers and they have given us great feedback including it's ease of use and functionality. We have also recently made several requests for new features from the support team who have been highly responsive and have given us excellent support. I highly recommend this tool.

CONS

We've recently added extra features including delivery updates.
