Ordermentum has transformed our business
Prior to using O.M.processing customer orders was extremely time consuming with many moving parts. Although we had a simple Shopify website in place for customers to order our products, this was yet another sign up process they weren't enthusiastic about participating in or staff would need to place orders and wouldn't have the password so many would bypass our website all together and phone/emailed orders in instead. Ordermentum on the other hand is built specifically for the foodservice industry so staff can place orders using their own log ins and are easily removed from the venues account if they move on. But this is just one of the endless features that has brought seamless automation to how we now process orders and handling customer accounts. We were hesitant to make the switch after going to the effort of putting a Shopify website in place there's just no comparison. Our only regret is that we didn't make the switch sooner.
PROS- Incredibly intuitive to use, we glide through the system with ease performing all necessary tasks needed to process our orders and maintain customer profiles. - Majority of customers and staff already use the O.M. and are happy to hear we on the system. - For those customers new to O.M. the onboarding process is completed in a few minutes, often with an order coming through from the customer right away as they've had no issues navigating the app. - We have gained many new customers through their 'Growth Engine'. - Great impact on cashflow as majority of users pay via credit card on check out. - Ability to assign certain customers to accounts and customise the days until their invoice is due. - Ability to have one set of pricing for one group of customers and another set of pricing for others. - Their customer service is 10/10 and like nothing I've experienced before, if I require assistance I will send their support line an email and receive a reply within an hour or so with my issue usually solved for me. - The new 'Sign Up Links' is a personal favourite, I can set default customer profiles and provide the new customer with a link that automatically connects us to their profile enabling them to order right away with the correct settings (delivery schedule, pricing etc) in place making our sales funnel extremely effective. - Integration with accounting software - Regular new exciting features, the team seem to constantly be working on adding more value.
CONSNone. The system is extremely well thought out and customised for the foodservice industry by people from the foodservice/manufacturing industry so they've been in that position acquiring customers, handling accounts, taking orders etc. Everything has been covered. From my thorough experience using the app I'm yet to find anything lacking.
Reasons for switching to Ordermentum
We needed a more customised approach for our wholesale operation. Shopify is an ecommerce platform, it's language, features and processes weren't relevant to our business. Ordermentum was built for our business and provided the solutions to the issues we were facing.

Easy to use

Ordermentum is a game changer
Greater control and visibility of the ordering process
PROS- Customers are able to amend or input their own orders, saving time for our people - Automatically runs standard orders for customers, saving time - Visibiltiy and customisation of product categories for individual customer needs - Order cut off for customers, gives us greater control over production cut off times
CONS- Occassional problems with orders automatically transferring across to our production software means we have to run a manual check

A must have for hospitality suppliers.
We've worked with Ordermentum since their early days, so have seen their progression and upgrades over the years. There is always a steady flow of improvements coming though, and we're able to directly speak with them if any technical issues or questions crop up.
PROSOrdermentum is successful for us for three key reasons. The first being, our customers want to use it. Ordermentum is a trusted brand in the hospitality industry and many of our customers prefer to manage their supplies with this software. The second being, ease of order and payment processing. Ordermentum integrates well with our inventory and invoicing software, but the best feature is our customers pay us before their order leaves the warehouse. As a result, we never have an outstanding invoice with any of our customers. The third being their 'Grown Engine' feature. Customers can use Ordermentum to find new suppliers. We receive 15-30 new customer enquiries a month.
CONSThe benefits way out the negatives. It would be nice to be able to customise the order reminders our customers receive from us.

It's great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is without a doubt the best support person i've ever worked with. He takes the time to understand the situation and the business you are in and then is able to suggest the best path way forward. Without his help and guidance i don't think we'd be able to use OM to it's full potential.
PROSThis platform completely changed the way we do things around here. Before we started using it we were doing everything by hand, which meant human error and mistakes. Once we got on board with this the impact to efficiency was huge and the impact to morale was immeasurable.
CONSNothing. I love everything about it. Would be awesome if they would hurry up and launch in America tho ;)

I am amazed by this product
Even during the sales call when I tried to give them a curb ball question, they had the answer. This system is designed to be amazing! I'm so happy I finally took the plunge and got it!
CONSThe integration with my version of MYOB isn't there - but it wasn't a deal breaker

Best Ordering Software in the Market
User-friendly, easy to get started and great customer service. The idea behind the product is genius, and it makes save a ton of time and minimise mistakes that otherwise would happen if you are not using a system like Ordermentum
