We have used the software for 4+ years now and we use it on all our virtual machines. Great product and the customer support is very attentive.

I wish they would complete the backup and just add a warning that there was an error code reported. Using a new storage device resolved the issues in our case.

The user interface is a very nice place from which to work. The integration with Hyper-V has been extremely reliable.

Daily usage is also too intuitive. Support has been good to resolve issues.

Monitoring report often shows a failed backup, when going into the report tab on the software itself it doesn't show as failed.

I'm really impressed by how easy it was to get up and going with Altaro. Setup was very straightforward and it was simple to get all the pieces in place and get going.

They have a very fair pricing structure for both licenses and support services and offer discounts and incentives when needed. Offsite backup feature easy to implement.

Right now, my option is to backup to my local NAS, commit a second backup to segment 2 NAS for resiliency and incase of fire or disaster and recover.

Reliable backup that automatically does integrity checks and send notifcations for failures/problems is also great.

The software is very easy to use and setup. I rarely have issues but when I have had issues the customer support is on top of the problems.

Altaro is ideal for small enviroments with HYPERV ONLY. If customers growth, or if you need integration into Vendor Driven Storage Arrays you will have to look for other products.

Actually, I do not have anything I can complain about. There is only one thing I am missing and that is IPV6 support for OffSite Server.
