If someone is looking for a barber on booksy you will be an option. Great for new or existing barbers. Booksy makes it very easy to organize your day and allows for a coherent days plan. Booksy is very affordable for the value that you get in return. It’s a very easy platform to learn to use and is a very secure system regarding the barber and clients privacy. The app has built in marketing tools, and promotion features to remind your clients about upcoming appointments and to remind the barber about cancellations, etc. The app is very customizable in regards to cancellation fees, text reminders, and more. Booksy is great. #### Cons The 30% ( $10 minimum ; $100 maximum) boost feature commission. It sends reminders constantly so you don't miss appointments which is extremely helpful! I like the different features it has like taking deposits prior to an appointment. I also like that you can schedule with time and not have to worry about forgetting because they will remind you days before. It seems like a secure platform, no need to learn how to use because they make it super easy to use. #### Cons There has never been any issues while using booksy for me. It is straight forward. Other apps didn’t allow this. #### Cons What I like least about Booksy is the difficulty for clients to receive communication from scheduling. #### Reasons for switching to Booksy Biz As an extremely busy barber, I have serviced over half of my clients for 10 years or more, my clients like to keep their schedule indefinitely, Vagaro only scheduled out for 3 years with no notification of when a client’s regularly scheduled appointment expired. When the schedule expired, it left that space open for other clients to book, causing my regular client and the legally booked client to walk in at the same time.
