Very good compared to others
One of the functionality select the most is the time tracking. In Spain, it is mandatory by law to keep a daily track of attendance of all employees.With factorial, it is very easy to clock in and out with riyal times, and not some predefined timeslots.
CONSI did not find it very easy to integrate factorial with other tools to control all the resources, like action plans, trainings, and so on.

Easy to use, nice user interface
It has only been a short period but so far the service has been excellent and we are happy with the product in general. It is still quite simple and some complexity needs to be added regarding historical data and the employee journey but this feedback has been shared and is being actioned.
PROSThe day-to-day operational features are easy for users and administrators. Eg. clock-in, time off, employee directory, org chart, viewing and sharing documents, announcements, etc.
CONSThe product is still in its early stages. It needs more depth regarding employee historical data (eg. changes of position and manager). The reporting could be a bit more automated but the Customer Success team has been very useful to guide regarding any doubts.
Reasons for switching to Factorial
Bamboo is a product built with the US in mind. It allowed us some customization but not as much as we would have liked. It is also quite expensive and many things that we considered to be basic are added features.

Half Baked Features but worth the money
It has a great UI and its fairly easy to setup support was really great

Very happy with the functionalities we need
We use Factorial for Time tracking holiday compensation & tracking Team availability & holiday schedules Office information Those features we are using are working very well and are very easy to use, as an end-user but also on the administration part. Using a cloud-based solution is definitively the best approach.
CONSWe have seen some periods where the application was out-of -service We need to be able to add hours of holidays (for compensation of extra-hours) and the product is limiting us to half-days

Factorial REVIEW
The software proved to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for HR management. Its comprehensive features provided valuable tools for handling various HR tasks efficiently. PROSThere were several aspects of Factorial that I found particularly appealing. One of the things I liked most was its comprehensive HR management features. Factorial offered a wide range of functionalities, including employee onboarding, time-off management, document management, and performance evaluations. This all-in-one platform made it convenient for businesses to centralize their HR processes and streamline their operations. Additionally, I appreciated the user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation of the software, which made it easy to navigate and utilize its various features.
CONSThere were a few aspects of Factorial that I found less favorable. One area that I liked least was the limited customization options. While the software provided a solid foundation for HR management, there were certain aspects that couldn't be customized according to specific business needs. This lack of flexibility might be a drawback for organizations requiring highly tailored HR processes or unique workflows. Offering more customization options would have allowed for a more personalized experience for different businesses.

Factorial for our changing process
We use to make the payrolls with a company and for me this process was terrible, was that time of the month when i really not wanted to be on. Now all this process is really easy and the communication with payroll staff is vry clear and fluid so any doubt it´s solved at the moment.
PROSWhat we like the most was how easy is understand the platform and used. There´s no one who can not be able to find what they need or registered in the platform. How easily is complete the payroll process and how attent are the payroll staff. That i can use the platform for more than just one use, as example: payroll, recruitment, as documentary, to share documents with the employees, etc...
CONSWhat i like least is that in the lead product that i think is the payroll i mis some usabilities as do changes directly in the payroll when are ready, like last minute changes that make the process return to scratch. Will be more easy if i can do it online. I really miss create differents document folders. I think that right now you have it but it´s a differente package.

Very good option for HRIS - based in Spain
In general it was very positive. Is one of the best HRIS I ever tried. Focused on the spanish adminsitration, is a very complete one.
PROSAll features have been implemented and improved during last years. Is a very complet HRIS for PTO, time and attendance, onboarding, task list, data base, documentation, hirings, review process, singature and other important needs
CONSWhen I implemented, I had a lot of employees based in other countries. Inthat moment, it was not ready for these differences.

All hr information Conected in one platform
for me it is a great HR Platform, because you can manage everything in one tool! even if you are from the HR Department, or an user (employee) that self manage their neccesities.
PROSit's easy to use. to ask for a free day it's quick, because your manager receive an alert to be approved or denied, you can control the schedules of all the employees, vacations, the exact hours an employee has worked. Also, all the information of all the employees in one hand.
CONSI think it is necessary to find another way to control attendance, either by synchronizing with a work tool to avoid forgetting to record worker attendance. In my case, I had to set a daily alarm to remember to fill it.

Factorial for IT
The "problem" that this has solved is abiding by the Spanish law implemented last year for employees to clock in daily working hours. If we get an inspection, thanks to Factorial, we Will not have any problems. It is also easy for our travelling consultants to clock in wherever they may be worldwide.
PROSIt is easy to use and as the administrator it is easy for me to see if employees are clocking in their hours and chase them if they are not. Also if one forgets to clock in one day it is easy to fill in the hours afterwards. I believe the payslips and time off work well (from a friend who uses it in his company) but we have our own system internally so I do not use this personally. Also when I have had an issue client services get back to me very quickly.
CONSCan´t think of anything that I do not like about it.

When we had to clock in hours by law I asked one of our consultants to find something for me in internet and set it up. The main reason was that it was free to try out and I continued once we had to pay for it (which makes sense).

Organising and bringing team together!
Every part of the process has been great: The onboarding, support and the constant available videos, articles and content really prove that Factorial are the best in the sector!
PROSWhat I like most about Factorial is obviously how user friendly it is for our employees, our team managers and ourselves as administrators. This is not only useful for organising fair time off for holidays but it also allows team members to check in on who and when fellow colleagues are here - therefore helping them plan projects etc. The social side: making visible different events on the dashboard such as team outings, birthdays, events etc..
CONSHow we currently are using Factorial, all the features are apt for us.

Administración HR para todos los niveles
Utilizamos FactorialHR sobretodo para el control de vacaciones, fichajes y firma de documentación con empleados y estamos en estudio para la implementación de gastos que ofrece para liberar el único proceso interno que nos queda en papel.
PROSLa herramienta es muy fácil de utilizar. No se requieren grandes conocimientos de IT para desplegarla y, sobre todo, a nivel de usuario es muy intuitiva por lo que cualquiera puede utilizarla. Su constante evolución y mejoras que van incorporando, ayuda bastante en la gestión del día día. Independientemente del plan que se tenga, escuchan las necesidades de sus clientes para mejorar e implementar nuevas funcionalidades.
CONSEl sistema de fichaje aun le falta alguna mejora, como notificaciones tanto por correo como por app en inicio de jornada laboral en un rango horario y notificación en la final de horario. El los útlimos meses hemos detectado varias caídas, si que es cierto que no es una app core de negocio pero sí que los usuarios se molestan de vez en cuando. La gestión de incidencias es un poco caótico puesto que a veces recibo primero la respuesta del técnico y horas más tarde un correo de apertura del caso con lo que presta a confusión ya veces no sabes si has abierto el ticket hasta que te responden. Eso sí, son muy rápidos en dar respuesta por lo que realmente es más una apunte que una queja.

Excelente software para RRHH
Excelente desde el momento en que te pones en contacto hasta que finalmente se implanta el software. Es un producto redondo desde el inicio. Excelente grupo de personas y atención de 10.
PROSLa parte más interesante para nosotros ha sido la parte de informes. Muy bien trabajados y con capacidad de hacer modelos ad hoc
CONSTiene todo lo que nosotros consideramos necesario para el departamento. Llevamos también poco tiempo, hasta ahora todo correcto.

Recomendable por la centralización de la información
Es más fácil gestionar la información (saber quién está fuera, tener acceso a las nóminas).
PROSLa centralización de la información, la gestión de las vacaciones. Es bastante intuitivo para los usuarios (como admin alguna vez he tenido problemas).
CONSAl final el software es el canal de comunicación, por lo que los procesos siguen teniendo los mismos timinigs que si trabajásemos con una gestoría. Por otro lado, normalmente tengo que revisar tanto los contratos como las nóminas, ya que ha habido errores varias veces.

Bastante completo para la gestión de los recursos humanos
Lo fácil e intuitivo que es de manejar, además de una interfaz muy amena y una aplicación móvil muy completa. Nos hemos cambiado para tener todo en un único programa.

Nos ha cambiado la vida!
Sobre todo es un ahorro de tiempo y una optimización de los procesos. Por ejemplo con la firma de las nóminas, que nosotros necesitamos para la justificación de subvenciones, hemos ahorrado tiempo y recursos. También con la firma de los contratos, el que una persona pueda rellenar sus propios datos al incorporarse o al cambiar los datos, también hace que se produzcan menos errores.
PROSLo mejor es lo intuitivo que es la herramienta. Ha sido muy bien aceptada por todas las colaboradoras y estamos viendo que es un gran ahorro de tiempo en los procesos y en la gestión administrativa de los recursos humanos, que al ser una fundación en crecimiento, cada vez se complicaba más
CONSDe momento no echo nada en falta, cubre todas nuestras expectativas de sobra. Y todos nuestros procesos relacionados con los recursos humanos están integrados en la herramienta.

Automatización, transparencia y consenso
Estamos muy satisfechos con la solución, gusta por igual a gestores como a usuarios, en ambos lados los procesos son muy sencillos y transparentes.
PROSLa complicada gestión de ausencias, turnos, vacaciones, calendarios se convierten en procesos muy sencillos, tanto para el departamento de RRHH, responsables de departamento y los propios trabajadores. Gestión siempre simple y adaptable a la forma de trabajar de la empresa. La gestión de múltiples oficinas con distintos calendarios es sencillísima. Con muy poco esfuerzo de configuración la solución es operativa de forma casi inmediata.
CONSCon el tiempo se han ido añadiendo funcionalidades para permitir una mayor granularidad en las ausencias, no siempre nos sirve un dia entero o medio dia, puede interesar gestionar por horas. También nos hemos encontrado con la necesidad de crear permisos de paternidad/maternidad que se disfrutan a media jornada, no hay una forma de crearlos en bloque, así que acabamos marcando como ausencia a día completo. Sería también interesante poder mostrar las solicitudes no aprobadas en el calendario de grupo de cara a poder coordinar peticiones de vacaciones en un equipo donde es necesario evitar que se solapen. Acabamos haciendo la gestión de no concurrencia de forma "manual" previamente fuera de la aplicación.

La forma más fácil de realizar la gestión administrativa de RRHH
Muy buena, lo llevamos usando años y tanto en la dirección como en el equipo están muy contentos, sobre todo en la contabilización de los días de vacaciones.
PROSEn Lola Market lo usamos para gestionar el calendario de vacaciones, para eso es perfecto! para el tracking del control horario y usarlo como sistema de performance reviews le queda trabajo por delante.
CONSEl tracking del control horario, se hace muy tosco tener que hacerlo día a día. Igual algún tipo de extensión para Sack o de navegador que te recuerde hacer el checkin en lugar de hacerlo entrando a la plataforma mejoraría el uso.

sencillo de implementar y de utilizar
La forma que tiene factorial de gestionar las ausencias, vacaciones o el simple hecho de informar de los cumpleaños de los compañeros es ya una ventaja respecto a los antiguos ficheros excels o documentos de seguimiento que no todo el mundo utilizaba como es debido. Ahora se añade la función de fichar, y poco a poco se van añadiendo más funciones.
PROSCuando se implementan nuevas herramientas que serán utilizadas por muchos talentos es necesario que su utilización sea lo más sencilla posible. Creo que factorial destaca en este área. Además que es una herramienta que ha ido evolucionando con mejoras y nuevas funciones a lo largo del tiempo
CONSInicialmente era gratuita, y posteriormente de pago.

It's good as a free tool for very small companies
It's free so that's good. You can do holiday mgmt, benefits and upload docs in one place, that separates them from other free tools
CONSVery limited, as the reporting is very limited as well as the features. Can't do much once your company starts scaling.

It was not good for a large organization
To be honest, they have improved a lot since the last time I used the platform. Probably the part I liked the most was the Employee profile

Overall Good
It looked and felt good overall. The user experience was ok and things were easy to find.
CONSI really dislike the holiday view, specially in big companies. I much prefer BambooHR's calendar view with people's names on it.

This is an excellent software to get HR organized.
This software is easy to get started and is great for getting teams organized.
PROSThis software is great for getting HR setup and organized. It is easy to use and covers all of the basics and then some.
CONSThe one thing I would have liked is a page for Notes or personal remarks. Also a portion for performance reviews and/or appraisals.
