Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • Best thing ever if you are doing any type of research whether it's just for fun, a project or something for work its great for everything. Completely free and it's very easy to use.
  • Overall we've been really happy. Considering that it's free, and integrates with everything, and lets a non-technical founder like myself get something up and running quickly, it's amazing.
  • Its easy to integrate to your digital marketing assets, have lots of supporting documentation for help, a strong user community and full features for free.
  • Cons

  • The major downside for me is the lack of user support. It's difficult to get an answer (or atleast a quick answer) to issues with Analytics which can be frustrating.
  • It has a pretty bad UI/UX. Its feels horrible to navigate and is a chore to implement it, we need a specialist only to set it up so everyone can get the data.
  • I followed a detailed step-by-step tutorial to set up Google Analytics. But even after repeating the whole process to exclude any possible mistakes, it is not working for me.

  • Pros

  • It is also excellent all the integrations you can do with systems, the cloud, etc. The data transformation module I find wonderful how fast it is, even with large amounts of information.
  • Having switched from excel recently, Microsoft Power BI has been of great help. Having good visuals for data is a plus to us as an organization for they help do comparisons at a glance.
  • It has a lot of powerful features and potentials in showing data and making nice graphs/tables to show the facts/numbers that you want. It works way better and is way more efficient than Excel.
  • Cons

  • Additionally, there are times that my computer struggles to keep up with the program causing it to become non-responsive or crash.
  • The dashboards and reports are limited in visual design, so they all look the same and quite ugly.
  • Some find it too complicated to use and are intimidated by the format. I have not been able to find training for management on how to use a report that someone else with PowerBI skills created.
