Pros/Cons
Pros
- A user and administrator/engineer, and Matomo is by far the best one, in terms of features, ease of use, integration, and tracking, absolutely amazing work by Matomo team, bravo.
- Matomo behaved as a quality alternative for content search on our intranet and has met our expectations with an excellent cost-benefit ratio and ease of use.
- Thanks to Matomo, we know how to improve the traffic on our websites. It helps us refine your communication with potential customers.
Cons
- Recurring error while trying to update or customize the tool.
- What we are still missing is the simple linking option with Google Ads and other PPC ad providers.
- After using Matomo for over 3 years, there simply is nothing to dislike about it. Any dislike that arises would be purely because of bad hosting or bad configuration.
Pros
- It allows you to see what exactly your visitors do on your website. Smartlook has an amazing interface and powerful feature to analyze your customers' behaviour and improve your business.
- Easy to use, many interesting and useful features. Excellent solution of heat maps, allows a considerable improvement in the usability of the site.
- VERY good segmentation and ability to isolate recordings and share recordings. Easy to set up funnel tracking with custom events/URL's etc - good visualisation and linking to falloff recordings etc.
Cons
- It was unable to capture console errors of our angularjs app.
- Really missing AB test and Form Analysis functionality.
- CSS not loaded correctly in first second of videos. Pages missing in users' path (load time, I can guess).
