  • Pros

  • Pretty much unlimited flexibility for what you want tracked. The interface is also easy to navigate.
  • Self hosted is always good. A good option if you dont want to use google analytics (especially in EU-Countries good for data-security).
  • Cons

  • What we are still missing is the simple linking option with Google Ads and other PPC ad providers.
  • After using Matomo for over 3 years, there simply is nothing to dislike about it. Any dislike that arises would be purely because of bad hosting or bad configuration.

  • Salesforce is intuitive and easy to learn. It is nice that it has memory of tabs previously opened on the dashboard, even between user sessions.
  • The dashboards are very handy and useful to our activities because it nicely integrates the information and presents it in a very digestable way with the enhancement of the Analytics Cloud.
  • Cons

  • It's a bit tough to pick up the logic at the beginning when you first use it.
  • I had trouble finding where the information went after I categorized it.
