The capability to receive the regular insights generated by the platform is a time saver for an enterprise. The data is presented across different facets with different stories helps to highlight the changes. The flexibility to connect to different data sources is nice. The combination of being able to use prebuilt integrations; in addition to, custom database queries is a flexible and nice feature set. The clarity in how the calculation is being identified and the factors in the calculation being clearly communicated in the story pages is extremely beneficial to data analysts to help them understand what is driving the change in the trend or rankings. The platform has been extremely reliable and consistent in execution.

Data prep is critical for using the software effectively when using ad-hoc queries with the platform. Enterprises which do not have defined data sets to leverage will need to invest time in ensuring their data is prepped properly. Ensuring you know what facets you want to leverage on grouping the data and minimizing the number of facets is critical; otherwise, users can get overwhelmed by too many insights.

Outlier quickly draws one's attention to the key business drivers that have momentum, whether positive or negative. It quantifiably informs the extent to which you should react, and where you should prioritize action. It provides quick feedback on whether changes you have made are taking effect

I wish you could 'mine' some of the bespoke views in a more free-form way. I like the benchmarks, but I want to see some visuals where the 'focus' product is directly compared to others in its peer group. A quadrant view, where variables are plotted on two axis, one for direction, other for velocity, with bubble size representing the size of the impact - e.g. Product A is growing, fast and it's big...and Product X is shrinking slowly but is small

I like that we can have feeds customized and know that the output will generally show up on time and without issue. It's dependable and doesn't require effort to find the stories.

It's not always self service, so it's harder to play around with feeds and try new things that may or may not be relevant.

With our specific team, this software has yet to deliver what we'd hoped, but that's more a function of our needs and less a function of how well the software works.

Surfacing data insights daily that I would otherwise need to find myself. Outlier expedites the process of uncovering issues or hidden gems in our data.

It does provide a lot of data points that are either uninteresting or expected based on business or market conditions. However, this is really to be expected since the software is simply looking for outliers or statistically significant changes in our data.
