PatSeer provides an excellent database for the professional patent searcher. We are working for approximately five years with PatSeer products and feel that the continuous technical development and excellent customer service provide a significant value to our business

The database covers all relevant authorities and numerous smaller patent authorities, in many cases with full text data only available in PatSeer. The system includes work flow tools which allow effective processing of the most demanding projects like complex FTOs or advanced portfolio analysis. Statistics, AI and traditional searching are well integrated in a single package. A big advantage are the sharing capabilities which allow dissemination of results in a straight forward manner.

Occasionally the system slows down a bit, but it appears Gridlogics is getting this under control.

The Customer Support group rocks! Everytime i needed help they responded to me that same day and worked to correct or provide guidance for the issue at hand.

While the analytics section was good, the graphs produced were not the best and data had to be downloaded to another visualization software for presentations.

I have no complaints about the software.

I manage our own portfolio and I look for prior art to manage both new patent filing or to look for potential invalidation in the context of patent litigations

It has very good features that you would normally find in much more expensive product.

The interface is not that great and there are discrepancies in the patent DB (Ex. patents show as inactive while they are not, some patents in the family are missing, especially foreign patents, some PDF documents are missing). The user interface to save and manage project is terrible, very complicated and rudimental

PatSeer is a good all-round patent information database, with good country coverage, providing the ability to search and analyse at publications and families levels.

Patent information people always want more features and more countries! As this field is compulsory I go for more transparency on updating records, and better legal status information please!.

Excellent cost benefit

The patent base is friendly and intuitive, the best is the speed in analyzing the patent information and the use of artificial intelligence for semantic search.

I have no complaint, maybe I still need to insert search for genetic sequence.

Very nice and continually improving analytics and illustration of data. Though the product is great, the best is the customer service and support, which is among the best I've ever experienced.

I use illustrations to infom my clients, and sometimes the illustrations aren't as complete or flexible as I would like. But on the up side, the company provides very rapid response to any problems or suggestions, constantly enhancing the software in response to customer feedback.
