Fantastic user interface. The data visualization functionality is very powerful and really helps tell the stories behind the data.

Its greatest strength is its flexibility to accept almost any kind of data and form them into displays with each other.

I helped integrate our project with tableau (embedded in our page html files). Overall a good experience with nice results and happy users.

Have a good community support and documentations. It dose provide a 30days free trial on the tableau application, after which we need a product key.

Main business problems for using Tableau are analyzing metrics for daily operations, specifically failure rates and tracking completion.

There are some limitations (eg. email alert layout is extremely limited, you can only drag the date range filter as opposed to selecting dates). Some of our dashboards load very slowly.

There are great visuals right out of the box, and very clever interactions that allow you to drill down.

Great at helping us understand our clients better and using data more effectively.

Overall a high value application, with planty of options and gave me an excellent solution for a costum dashboard.

I for one use it to visualize our budget spend and how we're doing. It helps when creating presentations, no likes looking at numbers.

Tableau does lack functionality and is hard to use. There are scaling issues.

Tableau is one of the best business intelligence tools available in the market. The visual interface is really good and easy to use.

Workato also supports most of the popular apps like sheets, slack, smartsheet, jira, etc. It is great for us that have a developer background as we can make changes to the code to update recipes.

Workato has been very useful for us in integrating tools with Salesforce, with freedom for us to customize as much as we want. There's not much you can't do with this product.

They also have a large community of users that have shared their custom recipes.

It's ready to use connections are it's real strength for teams who don't have developer capacity and/or the budget to make unique integrations themselves.

Some of the integrations are seemingly still be tested by Workato. This can result in an inability to build certain integrations.

The community has a wealth of pre-made recipes available that you can customize to suit your needs. Everything from the use of data pills, to the documentation is very intuitive and user friendly.

Price is awesome for us non-profit. I shared with them some improvements, and there was some adjustments at the beginning but overall it is totally worth it.

Able to do more than alternatives,  it you’ll pay for it.
