A Fantastic and Flexible Whitelabel Blogging Platform

My overall experience has been great. Everything worked as expected with no hassle. It’s a powerful and highly customizable tool, perfect for my needs with a competitive price.

Pros:
Super easy to set up and publish content. It’s also very easy to customize the theme to match your company’s look and feel, which is a big plus. The pricing is very affordable compared to other platforms. I also love the fact that you can integrate the blog into a directory instead of being limited to a subdomain.
Cons:
Maybe having more API endpoints and integrations would be nice.

Reasons for choosing BlogMaker

Because of its pricing, flexibility, ease of use, and how easy it is to fully customize the blog to match our brand. In addition, it was key for us to have the possibility of hosting the blog in a directory (domain.com/bloghere) instead of a subdomain (bloghere.domain.com)

Surprised by quality, speed and user support

Pros:
It's sooo easy to start with, infinitely easier than using WordPress and other blogging services I tried in the past. I have only been using it for a short time, but long enough to realize that everything in the service is well thought out, planned, and executed. I switched from WordPress and I do not plan to return. The best about Blogstatic: and incredible efficient and empathetic 5-stars customer support service!!!
Cons:
None, everything I was looking for and need is in this tool already.

Reasons for choosing BlogMaker

I tried their free trial and in less than 30 mins using it I upgraded to the full plan, which is incredibly affordable.

Reasons for switching to BlogMaker

As much as they say, WordPress is not scalable unless you spend a lot of time or a lot of money. All I wanted was an SEO-friendly blog with a super quick setup, and now I have it.

Vendor Response

This is incredible to hear. Thank you, David.

Simple and Adaptive

5

Overall, my experience with blogstatic has been fantastic. It's exactly what it says on the box, and more! Nearly any bug I report is fixed very quickly (sometimes within the hour!), and new features are consistently being added to make the experience even better. Honestly, now that I'm thinking about my experience currently compared to when I first started using blogstatic, it's quite impressive the strides they have made to improve their product. I'm looking forward to where it's going in the future!

Pros:
Fastest blogging provider I've ever used, hands down. No more bloated Wordpress sites :) The editor is minimalist and intuitive, and is consistently getting better each time I use it. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has also been a very responsive [SENSITIVE CONTENT] who clearly cares about the users, and quickly iterates upon new features and bug fixes I also really like their commitment to green energy and making sure their services remain healthy for the Earth!
Cons:
There are some things that could be streamlined, such as setting up a custom domain which you have to manually inform them of for them to update their DNS records. The editor / interface is minimalistic, so it's not as feature-rich as a full-fledged editor. This may be a con for you. Although, as I mentioned above, it is quickly improving.

Reasons for switching to BlogMaker

Mostly a decision based on company ethics, but also even though the email / newsletter integration was seamless I found it to be very feature-less from a blogging perspective.

Vendor Response

We are very happy to be able to provide you with the right tool for your blogging needs. Thanks for noticing our commitment to our planet as we try to stay true to our goal ahead: Always striving to become the #1 blogging tool for bloggers around the world. Also, many thanks for all the feedback on how we can further improve blogstatic. We hope to hear again from you soon with more suggestions on how to further enrich your experience with blogstatic.

Pros:
Very easy to use, best customer support ever, minimalist to the core. The best word processor ever. Overall, it's a writer's dream.
Cons:
It's still quite new. Yet to be perfect, and there are lots of features that should be added.

Reasons for choosing BlogMaker

What attracted me to it was the minimalist, elegant user interface.

Reasons for switching to BlogMaker

Bluehost customer service is totally messed up. I've been using Bluehost for over five years, and it gets worse each year in terms of everything. The system is still stuck in the past.

ease of use, insane high level of support, and how it allows me to make blogs for carrd which wouldn't be possible otherwise.
Cons:
idk how to write blogs myself hahahhaa. their AI feature is there to help, but it's not fully fledged, like you can't rely on it 100%. but, since AI content is penalized, you shouldn't rely on AI fully so I guess it's a good time to learn to write blogs.

Vendor Response

Happy to hear about your positive experience with BlogMaker and support. And Yes, the AI agents and writing are only here to assist. We suggest that people still write their blogs.

Pros:
blogstatic is the easiest software I've used. It helped me start my new blog in minutes. There was nothing to install. Blogging is a breeze in the editing area. The best part is that the editor looks exactly the same as my chosen theme. So there's really nothing to preview. You hit publish once you're happy with how your post looks. Everything is streamlined and you don't even notice you're using a blogging platform. It feels like a nicely designed editor, right out of the box.
Cons:
I can't really say there was anything missing. New features are constantly being added. I only wish that it stays simple as it is, without getting bloated like Ghost or dare I say, Wordpress.

Reasons for choosing BlogMaker

Again, easy to setup. Easy to use. No bells and whistles that I did not need.

Reasons for switching to BlogMaker

Wordpress is slow, bloated, and it requires a ton of maintenance as the time goes by. All I needed was to write and not worry about my setup. blogstatic offers all that right out of the box.

Vendor Response

Thank you for your kind words. We're always looking for ways to improve blogstatic while trying to stay true to our premise.

Blogstatic can help you build the habit of writing on your blog

5

Using Blogstatic has been great! I've only started using it recently, but I can already tell that it will help me build a habit of writing on my blog. Blogstatic makes it easy to just focus on writing. All I have to do is log in, write, and publish. I don't have to worry about hosting issues, upgrading software, or any of that. Just writing! It removes a lot of the roadblocks. It's the reason I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did.

Ratings Breakdown

5

5

Pros:
Blogstatic has all the essential features needed to successfully write and publish my blog. It's easy to use and pages load fast! I really like the simple and minimalistic design. In addition to blog posts, I can also create pages for my blog, like an About page and such. But the real benefit of using Blogstatic, imo, is that it can help me build up the habit of writing on my blog. Love the fact that I don't have to worry about installing software, or hosting the blog myself. And it's great that I can use a custom domain. It makes everything so much simpler! Another win for me is that Blogstatic is built and maintained by an indie maker. I like that I can communicate with the maker directly if I have a question or need support. And the simple yearly plan pricing with all features included is perfect.
Cons:
Some of the user interface still needs some polishing, but that's mostly a cosmetic issue. Blogstatic is still young, so it's understandable that some of the features are still being worked out and refined.

Vendor Response

Thank you, Mario. We love it that you're blogging with blogstatic. We're constantly working to make your experience even better.
