I'm overall pleased with Elementor. I've used it for countless businesses, and taught it in the classroom as well. Compared to other front-end builders out there, this is a clear winner for building WordPress sites. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros I've built well over 50 websites with elementor, if not closer to 100, and the value for this builder continues to improve every year. A pro license is well worth the cost and provides you excellent templates, as well as the ability to save your own templates and create faster workflows for building websites. The ability to now use their cloud templates also is a welcomed improvement over the previous export and "paste from another site" options. #### Cons My only gripe with elementor is around their image optimization plugin currently always being pushed even inside the builder. The other weak spot in the builder is the ability to view revision history, this could be improved upon greatly. Lastly, setting those viewport sizes. Give people a 4k viewport template. We get so many clients who go to review an elementor project on 4k and we end up having to sink much more time into making the desktop view 4k friendly. #### Reasons for switching to Elementor Initially for page load speed improvement. #### Vendor response Hello David, Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review, and for trusting Elementor across so many projects. We’re glad to know that features like templates, cloud saving, and faster workflows are making a difference for you. At the same time, we appreciate your candid feedback on areas where we can improve. Your comments help guide our roadmap and ensure we focus on what matters most to professionals like you. No incentive was offered It's a great tool for builder complex and advanced websites #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Elementor is my favorite web builder for WordPress. I like it because it empowers me with assets to bring my designs to life.It is easy to use in WordPress and supports several third-party tools that I use on a regular basis. With Elementor I can fully customize and manage my website features like branding, responsiveness, and animations. It allows me to add my own lines of code wherever I need to. I can also save time by exporting my settings and reusing them on other projects.Another thing that I really like about this tool is its affordability. The plans are very affordability respective to its performance and user advantages. With a single license, I can use it on many websites and this helps me manage customers' projects with ease.I also like how simple it is to use external components for animations like the GSAP plugin which can easily associate with Elementor to add more engaging features on my websites. #### Cons A feature that I would like to see getting improved is the "page title" option. Normally when disabled, the page title should be displayed but sometimes I still see a page title showing even after I've hidden it.Another thing that I would love to see being improved in Elementor is " Feature annotation". Some features like those in the container can quite be difficult to understand. It would be better if, for the most important features, there were info notices when hovering over them that briefly explain what they are and what can be achieved with them. The info should be written in a simple language that will enable users of all intellectual backgrounds to easily grasp them. --- ### Flexible Web Builder - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: TANVEER A. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Computer Software - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: October 2024 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered my experience with Elementor has been positive. It’s a robust and versatile tool for web design, offering a great balance between ease of use and advanced features. While it might take some time to get fully acquainted with all its capabilities, once you do, it becomes an indispensable tool for building and managing websites. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned designer, Elementor provides great value. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros drag and drop and flexiability The flexibility it offers in layout and design options is also impressive, allowing users to fully customize their websites to suit their needs. #### Cons Some advanced features are locked behind the Pro version, which might be frustrating for users on a budget. Additionally, while the platform is quite powerful, it can be a bit overwhelming for beginners due to the sheer number of options and settings. --- ### A tool that can EASILY give a professional look to your website - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Angel G. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Internet - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used monthly for less than 2 years - Reviewed: July 2021 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros One of my favorite features, is the drag & drop style. This could save you, LITERALLY YEARS of study in web development and still have a nice and professional looking design and layout for your website. Also, the Elementor's option to preview your website on mobile, tablet and computer view helps a lot with your layout. So it saves you time and embarrasing moments of publishing your web and then having it "crashed" on some devices. #### Cons What I consider not so in favor of this tool, is the license price. It may be a bit too high if your a newcomer in creating or having websites. However, once you get the enough cash to invest, you won't regret it. --- ### Elementos is the best page constructor drag drop - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Aguinaldo B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Design - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: March 2022 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. I was a writer when I started using Elementor. I loved it at first. When I launched my own agency, my go-to was the Astra theme with Elementor. I don’t even know how many sites I built anymore. It really was a beautiful thing. Now I’m the in-house head of digital marketing for a company. My boss insisted I use another theme and host with Elementor. It’s been nothing but problems. Elements are glitchy, don’t work, or don’t display right on mobile. Their support chat almost always escalates to tier 2, which will only communicate by email with the main email on your account - not ideal for teams. Recently, they released a version that corrupted my site. They admitted it was a known bug, but of course, I didn’t get the email because it went to my boss. I rolled back on my own, but didn’t shut off the updates because I didn’t think Elementor would release something that totally breaks sites. When it happened again, I tried to restore and my site went to all 400 pages. I tried again and it went to all 500 pages. Then it came back on its own, but was still glitchy and unusable. For a week, I was in contact with their support. No resolution. I eventually gave in and tried a third restore. My site’s been stuck in restore mode for two days for a task that should have taken 20 minutes. Support just keeps telling me to wait. That’s literally what tier 2 tells me every time. They will not escalate it higher. Nobody will put me in contact with anyone higher or a manager. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 3/5 - Value for money: 3/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros When it works, it makes WordPress sites as easy to work with as Wix, SquareSpace, or Weebly. My favorite theme (Astra) builds with Elementor, so I can build a very nice customized site in about a day despite not being a developer. #### Cons It’s buggy. Elements, like the typing/ animated text were released even though they don’t display properly. They were left buggy for forever (many months). I’m not even sure they’re working right now. Oftentimes, things don’t display right on mobile either. Their latest update broke my site. I didn’t realize it was Elementor’s fault, so I left updates on. Two weeks later, it broke my site again. Pair that with their shoddy hosting that’s often down and crummy tech support/ customer service and it’s a recipe for disaster. I wasted so much time going between Elementor and the theme’s developer with each blaming the other for things not working during the build. I don’t know how many things i scrapped or how many times I changed direction because things just weren’t working right. --- ### Elementor from a Person who is not techie - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Debbie N. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Health, Wellness and Fitness - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: January 2023 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically.
