Great for Nonprofits
Overall, we have loved BoardSpot and I have adopted it as the board management software that I use for several of the boards that I sit on.
PROSI love using BoardSpot to simplify the management of documents related to board business. Our team is small and finding an affordable yet comprehensive platform has made managing the board of directors much easier.
CONSAs of right now, we have not found anything we do not like. We have requested that the platform add a connection to Slack or provide an in-house discussion platform.
Reason for choosing BoardSpot
The simplicity of use combined with the pricing was the selling point for me. There is no more affordable platform with similar usability.

Great tools to keep the Board informed
So far so good! All my expectations have been met and the upgrades have been really good. Looking forward to seeing more optionalities.
PROSit keeps my board in the know and current with all documents. I have one upload and they can come look at the documents or past minutes/agendas anytime.
CONSWould be nice to have a collaboration site. This would enable the board to add ideas and chat about certain topics.

Boardspot helps our nonprofit function well
Easy enough to use that everyone can access and view calendar, meeting minutes, etc
CONSSometimes we dont get all notifications, it is pricey for the function

We appreciate knowing about the notifications. We have the ability to check on the email delivery for each message sent. In your portal you can submit a chat and we would be happy to troubleshoot this with you. Glad you like the other portal features!

Great platform and phenomenal customer service.
The best "feature" BoardSpot has is their customer service team. They are amazing. Very responsive, really listen to our feedback, and always offer solutions to any issue that arises. We are excited about this new relationship!
PROSBoardSpot is easy to set up and easy to use. Most all functions are very self explanatory. It's features are competitive with many much higher priced options.
CONSThe portal seems a bit new so I think some features that may be useful are still in the works or coming very soon.

New to BoardSpot
Our nonprofit board is better able to focus on our work, organize documents, and coordinate meetings.
CONSIt's excellent for our nonprofit board; I only wish our church (with a much smaller budget) could afford to use it.
