Pros/Cons
Pros
- Strong Functional Capability that can build out an organization's EA mandate. Cloud Version is excellent.
- My client is impressed with the quality of my diagram. And I haven't shown him yet all the features of ARIS.
- Fantastic tool which comes with a certain price.
Cons
- Missing functionalities in the Basic licence: like database export, lack of reports, lack model types.
- Customizing is too difficult. Reporting is not flexible enough for end users.
- ARIS element version has very low feature in terms of roles and authorization.
Pros
- Promapp is a fantastic tool that will enable anyone to map a process. Easy to use and understand and encourages communication and collaboration on the development of processes in your business.
- It is so well integrated with SharePoint. I have also been amazed at the willingness of Nintex product engineers to provide webinars, help and best practice advice.
- It is clear why Promapp are in the market and what they want to achieve with their product so it breaths simplicity, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Cons
- Very confusing and frustrating for a simple process.
- Nintex repeating column should be used with json. Xml is too annoying and too heavy.
- Lack of training resources specially for power users point of view. That's where Microsoft is dominating the market now.
