It's been very positive. We started with promapp, expanded into NWC evaluated RPA for future use cases and signed up to Drawloop for Salesforce to enrich our offerings ther. We have removed several old lotus notes workflows already and have integrated into salesforce flawlessly. It's a breeze to get simple formbased workflows oging and the support team are very helpful with assisting if you run into trouble. They also offer theri services to build specific complex workflows as a service.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's very much low/no code. There is a intuitive GUI to allow you to build processes/workflows/connections with little to no technoliogy background. We have implmented it and it is being used by non technical people to improve their own efficiency without having to ask IT to help. It is a very cost effective platfrom

#### Cons

the only real issue i have with the system is that it does not integrate as well as it could with it's own systems in places. The Promapp process mapping software has inbuild workflow functionality but it is not built on the Workflow cloud platform so theri is no way to either connect that system to others (salesforce, sharepoint etc) like you can in workflow cloud or even to start a workflow cloud process from within promapp. SO there is small gaps that mean more initial effort.

#### Reasons for choosing Nintex Process Platform

We had a good experience and realtionship with them that meant it was an easy decision to move from a single system to their process platfrom.

#### Reasons for switching to Nintex Process Platform

two reasons. I wanted scalable cloud based applications. Secondly making any small changes in lotus domino meant engaging a developer at significant cost. We couldn't change a single step outsdide what was coded in. So we could change who an email went to but we needed to pay to get a second email step added.

### Nintex is better than Power Platform for workflows, but the Q&A before releases seems to be slacking off a bit

Overall it has been great to use Nintex. Our users enjoy it, and it's a step away from the Microsoft Power Platform world. Generally speaking, we find we can get more done, in a faster amount of time, without having to put people through training or purchase extra "connectors"

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The best part about Nintex, or specifically, Nintex Automation Cloud (that we use) is how easy and intuitive it is for everyone from beginners to advanced users. For this, Nintex did a great job in designing their menus, layouts, and how everything is structured.

#### Cons

Over the last year or two, they have been getting... "slack"... with their Q&A before doing product releases. They've released updates that have literally crashed/stopped some of our workflows. Then to make it worse, our team members have had to investigate to prove it was a Nintex bug to Nintex support and not anything we've done. They said they have quality control, but seriously... all they needed to do is have a few workflows running on their systems and they would have seen the issues before users reported them.

#### Reasons for switching to Nintex Process Platform

Nintex is easier and more intuitive to use, and thus us more effective for our developers

I just updated (2 weeks ago) from the old Foxtrot 11 to Nintex Foxtrot RPA. I was a litlle scared that the new version will corrupt my old scripts, or has a different way of working than Foxt 11. Well I was surprised how easy the installation went, then opening the application it was so easy to use. I just need to get to know this version better, but till now a great success to our company. We have been using Foxtrot more than 5 years and will not switch from it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5

A lot of functions you can use to simplify and automate processes. It converts from an old version of Foxtrot without damaging your script Graph User Interface is perfect

#### Cons

Till now everything is ok. I just need to familiarize with the application, because I just updated to this new version without any knowleddge of this new version.

With Nintex we can quickly implement processes that require automation, without having extensive knowledge in the area of information technology, on the other hand, the maintenance of workflows is simple, which allows us to make the necessary adaptations and gradually improve our workflow to obtain greater benefits. It uses a core design, which allows the reuse of previously implemented functionalities, and its workflow engine is fast, so in general, we obtain immediate benefits after implementing the workflows, in addition to its easy adoption in the IT departments. the company.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

With Nintex, we have a compact and complete start menu to manage the processes we have developed or simply review and edit the existing ones. We may also describe and receive feedback, or track changes we make as we optimize our designs. The creation of process flows does not require developing programming code, in addition to the fact that there are interesting integrations with third parties to facilitate the final user experience and incorporate administrative procedures into an automation platform that records events and allows us to measure effectiveness in our organization. .

#### Cons

Nintex has incorporated multiple functionalities to support most of the common needs that we face when we model our processes and automate administrative functions. On the other hand, we can incorporate functionalities with third parties to facilitate the implementation and increase the user experience. However, we may need coding or customization, not provided by default, but taking advantage of the Sharepoint integration for example, we can incorporate document management with document library content, as well as manage the creation of custom records through custom lists. In this way, as we manage to have more integrations, Nintex will cover a greater demand for particular needs.

#### Reasons for switching to Nintex Process Platform

More adapted to process programming and automation.

I was a huge fan of Nintex for the on premise SharePoint. But since my customers are moving more and more to Office 365 I'm becomming more reluctant because of the performance issues

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 2/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Its possible to solve a lot of issues using Nintex without the need to code

#### Cons

The performance is very slow. Especially when using Nintex Forms for SharePoint online. We have a huge issue with user acceptancy because of this. Loading a form can take over 30 seconds. In addition there are a lot of frustrating issues in the designer: its not possible to modify or even to check the settings on references. You need always to start all over, if you want to change something. Sometimes configured actions brake without any reason.

#### Reasons for choosing Nintex Process Platform

Because it was in the company before Powerapps and flows

### Ideal BPM software for an organisation going through major change

The Project Management Institute of New Zealand (PMINZ) is going through major change at governance, operational and commercial levels. Also as a non-profit organisation PMINZ faces unique challenges such as the staff are nearly all volunteers and are from all over New Zealand. Where Promapp is having the biggest impact is giving PMINZ the tools to plan, implement and manage change and implement continuous improvement. So what are these tools and how have they made an impact? Document management: Promapp's excellent document management functions has enabled PMINZ to move from a legacy document management system for key documentation covering policies and procedures to a much more comprehensive easy to use system. User access and permissions: This is easily configured to mirror the PMINZ organisational chart and business rules. Permissions are proving very useful currently during the intensive review of the governance of the organisation to restrict access to policies that are still under review by the Board of Directors. Process development: Promapp is challenging PMINZ to simplify and restructure all processes using plain language for the published versions of processes. One important example of this is in the revision of HRM practices and procedures. Up until their update in Promapp the old processes were outdated. The revision of HRM in Promapp is now having a major impact on our organisation through better recruitment, induction and recognition of volunteer achievements. Feedback and improvements: The ability to implement continuous improvement within PMINZ using Promapp is also starting to have major benefits by the ease of which users can suggest improvements to processes. They now are more engaged. The most critical success factor of all has been is to ensure that the Board of Directors and senior management have fully supported not just the changes taking place but understanding what Promapp can deliver. So my recommendation is during the early stages make sure the key decision makers and influencers are educated about and understand what Promapp is about. The final comment is that is has been very liberating for our organization to free itself from the large wordy, difficult to read Operations Manual to an easy to use online software tool. Promapp is warmly recommended.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Ease of use, customization, makes it easy to simplify processes

#### Cons

More customisation in how processes are displayed (particularly the use of the swimlane display).

I have been using AssureSign for the past 2 years, while I have moved throughout my company. As a Case Intake Specialist, I use this program to send contracts to clients for their E-Signature. As a Claims Assistant, I would send releases and settlement documentation to clients, so that we could process their settlements. Using this program, clients can sign documents from anywhere they can access the internet. This makes it easier for us, as we represent clients from all over the US. This program saves us and our clients the hassle of waiting on the mail or making long trips for a simple signature, and actually decreases the time our clients have to wait on their settlement checks.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Because of this program, we don't have to wait on the mail, or make long trips for a simple signature. The majority of our clients sign their contracts using AssureSign.

#### Cons

I don't feel that the "View Document in progress" button is accurate. I feel that it should show signatures as they are placed on the document. This would make it easier to walk clients through the sign-up process.

My background: 3 years embedded 24/7 in the Nintex on-prem toolset building custom solutions in the financial services industry. During that time, Nintex became my go-to toolset for accomplishing the impossible. I was appointed to my current consulting position primarily as a result of that experience, and have functioned as a subject matter expert in this environment ever since. Nintex has recently been placed under pressure from PowerApps & Flow, but Nintex outstrips every other offering I've ever worked with in the automation game. No other product I've tried can handle the level of complexity Nintex handles with ease. Companies evaluate automation purely on price point, but they are unaware of the hidden costs PowerApps & Flow bring about. For example: if you want to roll out an app to the entire enterprise and all your clients, it would cost you 1 Nintex form and 1 workflow because the product is powerful / stable enough to combine the output of a dozen Flows into a single Nintex workflow, but if you build the same app on PowerApps / Flow, every single user needs to be individually licensed for those products. Bye bye cheap licences for non-power-users. This little nugget is seldom shared with people who hold the cheque books. Please share this with them, very loudly and from all the roof tops.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Its sheer, unadulterated power. I've built single Nintex workflows where a dozen Flows couldn't do the same job in the same time, with the same level of efficiency. I also found it far easier to learn than Flow - I still hate that POS. It's hands-down the most efficient automation toolset I've ever used.

#### Cons

It's obviously difficult to match the on-prem power in an O365 world and there are functions in the on-prem space I'd dearly love to see duplicated across, but we all know that everything has an opportunity cost. In order to get some of the awesome new functionality in the O365 space, some of my favourite toys may need to be sacrificed.

Our business has massively benefited from the introduction of Nintex Forms and flow and have been able to take some of most cumbersome process and improve efficiencies significantly. We look forward to implementing some of the newer features in the future and possibly some other aspects of Nintex as a whole.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Simplicity in form creation, particularly with new version and the ease of linking to SharePoint lists. Love some of the new features I have seen and am waiting for everything to be in the SharePoint version. There are so many things i could say but as far as this type of product is concerned, in my opinion it is definitely the best.

#### Cons

Requirement to know code for some things. Most of it is there but when it comes to specifics then I find it hard to find the information I need to be able to achieve something. I also don't find help material logical and it takes a long to filter to find the exact answer to sometimes very simple questions. Also wish there were more workshop/training opportunities around SharePoint form creation and flow. Lastly, flow is extremely difficult to view and follow when they becomes large.

#### Reasons for switching to Nintex Process Platform

Other products are limited, clunky to use with an not so great end product without a lot of work.

We have a team of 5 people developing a Enterprise solution with K2. We are satisfied with the possibilities K2 gives us and are very content with the level of support whenever required. The customer service is personal, quick and helpfull.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The platform is set-up with a data driven philosophy. It has a powerfull integration layer and data is your starting point for everything. As long as you understand the way of thinking of a developer, you can work with this platform. It is easy to learn. We have used it for a complex Enterprise level solution which it supports just fine. I like the options that you have to make it more flexible, like custom service brokers. Also the workflow engine is very powerfull. Last but not least the designer has quite a large amount of controls that can be used when building your views and forms.

#### Cons

Troubleshooting / debugging your solution is a bit difficult. You need to place message boxes in your form to validate parameter / control values for example. Also finding where rules are called is difficult, although there is a 3rd party solution for this available which is very helpfull.

Nintex works well for relatively simple and low volume requests/business processes. There is a learning curve to developing Nintex forms and we still needed to leverage JavaScript substantially, but the development effort is still generally less than straight web-form development. The workflow tool is also fairly easy to use. Unfortunately, the high cost of a complex workflow license has means it's hard to justify for the low volume request processes... where Nintex seems to be the best fit.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Nintex supports developing electronic forms with validation and conditional logic, - while also leveraging SharePoint for the management of submitted requests. Nintex workflows support

#### Cons

We have spent hours attempting to resolve installation issues and an assortment of ongoing reliability issues. There are also some serious drawbacks and complications to using Nintex/SharePoint workflows for high volume workflows, - including the need to regularly purge workflow history lists and workflow data.

#### Reasons for choosing Nintex Process Platform

Nintex has a somewhat flexible/scalable pricing model. We were able to start with an initial purchase of 5 complex workflow licenses, - which allowed us to do a pilot study and demonstrate sufficient value to continue using the product.

Pretty good so far.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The good thing about Promapp is that you can ditch your Vizio or Excel or other tools that you've been using for process mapping. Promapp is interactive and allows multiple people to give input into your process workflow. It allows for commenting and suggestions from people that do not have Promapp accounts and this is crucial because programs that need people to log in are logistical nightmares when you try to share things with others. I would bet that if you are the administrator of a program and you send someone something that requires a login, 9 times out of 10 they will ignore it since it requires the extra step. That's why most successful programs and software don't require login access when simply sharing something. With Promapp, once you share it, they are able to send comments and suggestions and it'll appear right into your inbox about which workflow. With the ability to lay out the entire process, end users can then see and tell if something is required or not. Then with this valuable information, you can start to eliminate mundane steps and save everyone's time and effort and therefore reduce backlog which is essential to how a company runs.

#### Cons

It is obviously not as broadly know as a Microsoft product in Vizio so it may catch people off guard when something is sent to them by Promapp. But I believe it just takes a little bit more time and effort to get the news out and people will respond.

I have used K2 blackpearl and K2 five for 5 years on medium to great projects. It is one of the best values for money in the BPM market. It still has a margin for improvement in customization and deployment tasks. Its support team is simply awesome.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Easy to learn and use. You can develop professional-grade workflow-based applications in days. Really extensible using its service brokers.

#### Cons

Not so easy to master, it is easy to do a lot of things but is also easy to do it terribly wrong impacting the overall performance. Smartforms are not the most beautiful user interface except you want to invest a lot of time, although is really fast to add functionality to a solution is hard to customize it. It does not support some great staff like multilanguage out of the box.

Overall, the K2 deployment hasn't been too bad. From a business PoV - K2 has highlighted the many advantages and challenges in automating their processes. From a technical PoV there have likewise been great advantages in being able to deploy another cloud based solution without the hassle that server based solutions have traditionally caused. And inevitably there have been the usual dramas caused by cloud based solutions.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

- Considerable investment is starting to materialise with this product becoming more functional and effective. - Unlike Black Pearl - we don't need our own hardware to run this solution - There are quite a few forums and events run by K2 to spread knowledge and techniques

#### Cons

- The K2 support desk people don't seem to be as up-to-speed as you'd expect/hope. - As with all cloud solutions, the deployments and patches are a concern as they have impacted existing solutions.

My overall experience with Nintex workflows has been a positive one. Even though I am experiencing the "failed to run" errors currently, all of my other workflows run and continue to operate smoothly. I continue to suggest incorporating Nintex workflows into our processes.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The Nintex workflows are amazingly intuitive. As long as you have a firm understanding of what you want to happen, the Nintex workflow can make it happen. The functionality is amazing.

#### Cons

The workflow breaks. Randomly. Failed to run, failed to start errors when there seems to be nothing wrong. I only see this issue in my most complicated workflow. All others run business as usually.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It sets out complex processes simply and are able to prepared quickly. Allows URL links and document links; Can be scaled for different organisational size. Can be used for induction, risk management and health & safety/training. Can be used as a basis for testing. Can share processes with other organisations (even if they don't have the product) and can receive processes from other like- organisations who are prepared to share their processes and then adapt these to your own environment,

#### Cons

It is a financial commitment, so small organisations may not have the capital to invest. It still needs internal champions, though it is easier to motivate staff to use promapp than most products and that require data and therefore effort and thought to keep up to date.
