My experience has been good with Brave. So far, I have used it for more than 3 years. I am not really thinking about switching from Brave. The only thing that would worry me is if it changes how it operates now, helping you block ads and cookies, and it becomes the same as the other browsers. But since it is better than the other browsers in that regard, I would stick with it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Brave is really the best browser that I have used. and for most people I think it would also be the best browser they can try. Of couse I really dislike other browsers, google specially for obvious reasons, brave is totally foccus on the user rather than other thing.

#### Cons

I haven't really found anything that I dislike about Brave; it is truly my favorite browser. The only thing I could say is that it isn't easy for me to find more information about the Brave Wallet that appears when I open the browser. It looks interesting, but it could include more easily accessible information about it.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

In brave I feel I am in control of what I am doing, rather than being constantly overwelmed by adds and any sort of distractions. Brave feels better in these days.

### oBrave Browser allows for privacy focused web browsing and ad blocking

oMy overall experience with Brave has gone well. Not having to deal with the enormous number of ads and pop ups is a massive relief and makes browsing the internet so much faster and enjoyable. Having the ability to use Brave’s own search engine “Brave Search” is also nice as well so I do not have to deal with the awful ads and sponsored links. It also has crypto, and AI features built in if that is something someone is interested in as well. The only gripe is these features are mostly on by default and can get a little too “in your face.” However, the browser is decently user configurable, and you can turn these features off if you do not want them and modify things to how you like it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

oPrivacy Focused oHas own separate search engine different from Google or Bing oHas crypto & AI features built in oAbility to disable features you do not want. oMore configurable by the user with sensible options compared to other browsers

#### Cons

oCrypto and AI features can be a little too “in your face” by default

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

The ads and data collection practices of Google are very frustrating.

I've used Brave to close to 5/6 years, and won't be going back to other browsers. It rides on Chrome's system so is very easy to navigate, has a super intuitive layout that resembles Chrome exactly, making it very easy to get used to even when I have started using it. I've found that browsing performance on Brave is stable, and it doesn't really crash much, even when lots of tabs are opened. When rebooting it's also easy to reopen past tabs. Extensions from Google Chrome Store can be downloaded for use directly, which is a plus from other browsers like Firefox.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I've been using Brave as my primary browser for a few years now. I find it fast, stable, and full of useful features. The built-in ad blocker is definitely great—I keep it enabled for all sites, and browsing has become cleaner and faster. I also really like the idea of crypto rewards; they accumulate very slowly, but in the first few years of using it, I managed to earn a few dozen euros by exchanging them a bit. Highly recommended!

#### Cons

Nothing. Sometimes the crypto wallet disconnects, and you need to log in again. It's nothing annoying or blocking, but I thought I'd mention it.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I think that Brave is better, with more functions. I like it more.

### Brave is a good browser especially if you work online a lot.

Brave is a good browser especially if you work online a lot, as you can use its many features and tools without leaving the browser. For example the built in private news feed allows me to not only follow publications, but also customize it with blogs and newsletters I follow. Also, any Brave Search query can be served directly from Brave’s own index, enabling users to benefit from a fully independent search engine that protects your identity.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I used to use a hand-full of browsers, for different types of uses, however, Brave seems to work well with most of the things I use it for so no need to switch browsers. Also, though it does not affect performance, I like how Brave simply serves the customer without any polorizing agendas like you find from Big Tech.

#### Cons

I used to use Vivaldi Browser, and one this Brave does not have in comparison is a Notes app that syncs between the desktop and Android browsers. Otherwise Brave has similar features and more, and they seem to be well desined and better thought out a bit.

#### Reasons for choosing Brave

I seems to work for everything I use it for. Seems fast and smoothe. You get a similar experience both with the Windows and Android, so you don't have to remember the diference of each as it is mostly the same.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I mostly like the business model of Brave, as well as the morals of their CEO.

I have been using the Brave browser for my daily browsing needs for more than 3 years now. I started with a pursuit to earn BAT tokens from searching but slowly fell in love with the way Brave Browser works. I feel more secure and safe while browsing on Brave Browser. I love how it's Privacy Hub the most which show the amount of data saved, estimated time saved, and the number of trackers 7 ads blocked by it. I also like the Brave Talk feature that lets a user start private video calls with up to 4 people at once, right from the browser itself.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Brave is a distinctive browser that gives a unique browsing experience to its users. Its clean interface makes it easy for the users to navigate through various features provided by Brave Browser. The unparalleled tracker and ad blocking feature are what make the Brave browser stand out from the crowd. It also comes with Brave firewall plus VPN feature which aims at giving a secured browsing experience.

#### Cons

Brave Browser is a great alternative to other browsers as it gives a secure and personalized browsing experience to its users. It has an attractive reward system as well wherein users can earn BAT tokens for watching ads. I feel this reward system is quite confusing for me as the number of BAT tokens earned stays the same for me even after watching the ads.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

We wanted to try Brave Browser because of the strong sense of security and array of features it comes with.

I've been using Brave for about two years now and am delighted with it. I switch to it from other browsers because of two main things - privacy protection and cryptocurrency earning. Users' privacy is protected by ad and tracker blockers - as the name says, they block ads and web trackers. This makes pages much more readable and loads much faster, saving both transfer and time. The browser and privacy options are highly customizable, so users can tailor everything to their needs. Brave is similar to other Chromium-based browsers, so it is convenient to use and is also compatible with Chrome files and plugins. Huge community support and ongoing development make it a great alternative to other browsers on the market. One of the huge advantages is the cryptocurrency earning system and the community support associated with it. It is possible to define how many ads per hour the user wants to see. For each ad displayed, a small amount of cryptocurrency is awarded to the viewer. This 'money' can be paid out or sent to specific site creators to support them. However, to withdraw the cryptocurrency, one must perform KYC with the company that provides the wallet. Unfortunately, Brave is still a lesser-known alternative to the major market companies, so it is rarely considered when testing websites, which can result in errors (e.g. lost transactions if blockers were enabled) or broken layouts. All in all, this is an amazing piece of code. Highly recommended if you value your privacy!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Many features - especially the ad blocker and tracker blocker. Customizability. Compatibility with Chromium-based browsers (including Chrome) - import/export, plugins, etc. Vast community support. Cryptocurrency ad earning. Developer support.

#### Cons

Some plugins are not supported because of browser differences. The way of withdrawing cryptocurrency. Sometimes pages are broken because of built-in blockers.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

Better privacy protection and cryptocurrency earning for ads viewing.

Brave has been my favorite browser since I switched over from Chrome a couple of years ago. Overall, I find it not only faster but helps conserve the battery life of my device as it optimizes browsing. Additionally, Brave blocks cross-site trackers and blocks fingerprint scripts. It provides more security than other popular browsers as well through brave shields and advanced privacy protection.

#### Cons

Over the past couple of years, there have been maybe 6 total instances in which Brave froze on me and refused to work. It's very rare, but when it does happen, it just doesn't work at all for a bit.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I wanted better security and privacy.
