My overall experience has been a great one so I have no complait that is worth a hassel or to not to use it. I would recommend them to anyone that want a fast browser it's one of the top browsers out there and been around for years.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Firefox is one of my go to browser between that and chrome love both of them cause they are fast and relible browsers and are free which is even better. They can be sat up for different search engines in the settings very easy to navigate through their easy interface sidebar where all the settings, extentions and other menu's are. Creating seperate or opening content in new tabs are sat up about the same so switching back and forth there is no diffuiculties at all. If you need customer care or customer support it's available on their site.

#### Cons

The only thing I had a problem with firefox was it had a glitch the one time where it froze up but that is one time out of the 10 years I been using them.Other than that I have nothing else bad to say.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

The best browser bar none. Speed wise it is lightning fast and leaned other browsers in the shade of the slow lane as it burns along brightly. On the vanishingly rare occasion that help is needed, the customer support is swift and efficient, whilst the help sections appear designed to actually, well help!!

#### Cons

Genuinely nothing. I have tried all of the other browsers and Firefox is peerless. The only downside I can scrape out of the bottom of the barrel is that I did not discover it sooner.

#### Reasons for switching to Firefox

Ethos of Mozilla. And the reliability, speed, privacy and a deep seated desire for something different.

### Good Browser, but Slower and Less Seamless Than Competitors

- Overall rating: 3/5
- Reviewer: Sven S.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Food & Beverages
- Company size: 51-200 employees

I have used Mozilla Firefox for quite some time and appreciate its focus on privacy and its independent approach compared to other browsers. It is a capable browser with useful customization options and a familiar interface. However, in daily use, I have found it less smooth and sometimes slower than some of the more modern alternatives. It works well for standard browsing, but overall the experience does not always feel as fast or polished as I would expect.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Firefox still offers strong privacy-oriented features, solid customization options, and a clean browsing experience. I also like that it is not tied as closely to the major ecosystem providers, which gives it a more independent feel. For users who value control over the browser and want a familiar, open-source option, Firefox can still be a very reasonable choice.

#### Cons

The main drawbacks are performance and compatibility. Some websites and web applications seem to work more smoothly in other browsers, and occasional slowdowns can make the experience feel less responsive. In addition, while the browser has good customization options, some users may find the overall interface and extension behavior a bit less consistent than expected. Compared to competitors, it sometimes feels like it is playing catch-up rather than leading the experience.

Overall, Firefox has been my primary tool for web browsing for a long time. It combines great features, seamless tab management, and smooth performance while keeping privacy a priority. The lack of a learning curve makes it perfect for anyone, and the fact that it is free means the value for money is unbeatable. Whenever I ran into small issues, the customer support resource center had quick answers.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I really like how reliable Firefox is for daily web browsing. Since it is completely free, it offers exceptional value for money. There is zero learning curve because the interface is super clean and easy to use. The tab management features are great, allowing me to organize multiple open sites without slowing down my computer. I also appreciate how easy it is to customize the default search engine and take advantage of privacy-focused features right out of the box. If you ever need help, the online customer support articles and community forums are very helpful.

#### Cons

Once in a while, certain complex web pages or online services load slightly slower than on Chromium-based browsers, but it is rarely an issue. A few niche browser features or extensions can also take a bit longer to reach Firefox.

Overall Firefox has been a solid, dependable browser for me. It feels user‑friendly, privacy focused, and pretty chill to use day to day. Even with a few hiccups, it’s still one of the browsers I trust and enjoy using regularly.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Firefox is how smooth and clean it feels. It’s fast, easy to customize, and doesn’t bombard you with weird tracking stuff. It just lets you browse without feeling like you’re being watched all the time.

#### Cons

Sometimes, certain sites don’t play super nice with Firefox, and a few extensions don’t work as well as they do on other browsers. It can also slow down a bit if you’re like me and keep way too many tabs open at once.

#### Reasons for switching to Firefox

I had been using Chrome for most of my life. It seems like the security features are lacking. I would constantly get messages saying my accounts had been hacked or someone was trying to change my passwords. As soon as I started using Firefox, this stopped happening.

In general my experience with Firefox is very good. I cannot find a real defect to report, and that's an important quality for a software.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I use the Firefox browser for a very long time. At work it's always our first choice when we need to find something on the web. The serch engine is functional and simple to use. We don't spend money for this software. The learning curve is pretty fast, even a kid can use it easily. We can manage multiple tabs with the same browser with no problem at all. The features are those of a very good quality software, and the customer support is active and easy to contact.

#### Cons

I cannot see many differces between this browser and some others of the same category. I would like some little more innovation.

#### Reasons for switching to Firefox

Firefox is easier to use and it has a lot of useless news less.

#### Ratings breakdown

Support of ad blockers (because of discontinuation of Manifest v2 in Chrome most browser have limit support of ad blockers nowadays), support of many privacy related features.

#### Cons

Worse debugging tools than Chrome, like no resending of request, no search in the body of requests/responses, very annoying!

#### Reasons for switching to Firefox

Discontinuation of Manifest v2 so most of ad blockers stopped working properly

### Firefox - "A lightweight browser that you need"

- Overall rating: 4/5

Although Firefox has limited features, it is indeed a fast and lightweight browser that does not give me a headache when I am browsing the internet. I do not have to worry about websites crashing or freezing, because Firefox loads pages quickly with all of their content. Therefore, I have been able to browse the internet, conduct research and watch movies and videos without any issues. Moreover, I do not have to worry about my browser history being seen by others when I use their device, because private browsing helps me to really browse in private. Lastly, at my previous workplace, I also regarded Firebox as the best browser for virtual meetings because the quality of the video and audio are good, and the browser loads the pages in an efficient manner.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Firefox has been very useful in my personal and professional life. As it relates to my personal life, I have been able to browse the internet quickly, easily and privately. Therefore, I am able to watch videos, movies, and play games without any websites crashing suddenly. Additionally, Firefox has helped me to access my online course videos at college, which other browsers have failed to do. Lastly, at my previous workplace, Firefox was the preferred option because it is fast, easy to use, and loads pages quickly. Therefore, many people including myself used Firefox to attend virtual team meetings.

#### Cons

Even though Firefox is lightweight, fast, and does not occupy a lot of storage space on devices. A major drawback is its lack of features or poor quality features when compared to other browsers. For example, the bookmark folder is hard to find, and the history tab does not show the exact time that I visited a website or searched for something using the search engine. Moreover, I have not been able to sync the data from the Firefox browser on my laptop, with the Firefox app on my Android phone.

Firefox is a browser that has been evolving more and more and its developers have been striving to deliver a fast, secure, stable browser and that's great! Firefox is one of the top browsers on the market that takes privacy seriously. I feel very safe using the browser for my daily activities and banking. There are details that need to be improved, but I'm sure the developers will be working to keep evolving the browser more and more and meeting our users' needs. For my part, I recommend the browser and I believe that it will grow, evolve and accompany us for a long time, meeting our expectations as much as possible.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Firefox is the best browser in terms of security today. The possibility of adding security extensions, the cross-platform support and the privacy offered by it masterfully differentiates it from the others. A browser that doesn't consume a lot of memory, fast, efficient and easy to use! A fresh and clean interface! Wonderful design with beautiful wallpapers to choose from. Syncing with other devices is seamless. It took me a long time to install, I thought it was inferior to other browsers, but I confess that it surprised me! It gives me enormous security to carry out my banking activities and transactions, in addition to being very easy to use, even for users who are not very familiar with the internet!

#### Cons

I really miss the page translation tool, it would make navigation and life easier for users. It also bothers me a lot when I need to open more than one tab and the browser is slow and crashes, requiring me to restart the device and sometimes losing the material I was searching for.
