Users appreciate its integration with Microsoft products, memory efficiency, and compatibility with web standards, making it a solid choice for everyday internet use. Bing Default Limitations Edge’s default search engine, Bing, is frequently criticized for less relevant results, slower performance, and a cluttered layout compared to Google. Users find it difficult to change the default, and many prefer alternative search engines for more accurate and efficient searches. Inconsistent Loading Speeds Users report slow page loading, lag with multiple tabs, and delays on complex or ad-heavy sites. Performance issues like crashes and sluggish startup are common complaints, especially when compared to other browsers, impacting overall browsing efficiency. ## Microsoft Edge Pricing and Plans Starting price: Pricing available upon request Free Trial Free Version ## Microsoft Edge Features - Popular features found in Browser Ad Blocker App Management Customizable User Interface Dark Mode Developer Tools Extension Management Private Browsing Tracker Blocking - More features of Microsoft Edge Address Bar Bookmark Management Search Engine Search History Tab Management User Profiles VPN ## Microsoft Edge Integrations Google Chrome Integration rated 4.5 from 14 reviews ## Microsoft Edge User Reviews ## Microsoft Edge customer ratings - Overall rating: 4.3/5 - Total reviews: 577 ### Rating distribution - 5 stars: 319 reviews (55%) - 4 stars: 170 reviews (29%) - 3 stars: 65 reviews (11%) - 2 stars: 13 reviews (2%) - 1 star: 10 reviews (2%) ### Secondary ratings - Ease of use: 4.5/5 - Value for money: 4.5/5 - Customer support: 4.1/5 - Functionality: 4.3/5 --- ### Excellent Browser to Use at Work! - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Nikolas H. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Medical Devices - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: April 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. Overall, I am very satisfied with Microsoft Edge as a general use browser. Myself of other employees at work use it and is capable of handling all of our requests. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros It is a very easy-to-use browser that is capable of handling all of the daily tasks that I encounter at work. #### Cons The UI/UX for Microsoft Edge is personally not as visually appealing when compared to other browsers. --- ### Edge is reliable - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Entertainment - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: November 2025 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered This browser has provided a good overall experience for leisure and work and I don't see myself using another one for the foreseeable future. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros I like how little ram and computer resources it uses compared to major competitors and it holds up to modern standards. #### Cons Generally speaking, it's a good browser but if I had to nitpick I'd say the button placement on the browser itself, the bars and where everything is located. #### Reasons for switching to Microsoft Edge Chrome is a ram killer/eater. I don't like how slow it makes my pc. --- ### The Emotionally Needy Browser - Overall rating: 1/5 - Reviewer: Rob T. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Religious Institutions - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used monthly for less than 2 years - Reviewed: March 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. It's just not something that I'm really excited about. I use it, but only rarely, and only when I'm "forced" into it for some reason. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 3/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros Not much that I love here. I'm sure this is a fine product - it's just that the other products that I use have been in use for a while and I just prefer them. #### Cons Due to its incessant attempts to become my default browser, MS Edge feels like that kid who tries to make everyone come to their birthday party -- even if they don't really want to go. --- ### Microsoft Edge is my work browser of choice - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Craig C. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Insurance - Company size: 1001-5000 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years - Reviewed: August 2026 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Microsoft Edge is my browser of choice at work. It’s fast, secure, and performs great no matter how many tabs I have open. When I first started using it I found the interface to be a bit overwhelming, but that was quickly resolved. I would definitely recommend Microsoft Edge. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Microsoft Edge is fast and secure, but its best feature is its low memory use. At work I have anywhere between 3-15 tabs open at any given time. On other browsers, this might slow my whole computer down. But on Edge, I never notice a drop in performance. That’s a big deal for me. #### Cons When I first switched over to Edge I thought the interface was too crowded with shopping, news, promotions, and other prompts. Over time I customized my settings and this is no longer an issue. --- ### Microsoft Edge Review - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Jessieah M. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Entertainment - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years - Reviewed: May 2025 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Better to understand the differences between this and the actual Google app, where the search engine is. I can see there are basic use features on this interface but overall doesn't provide solid reliability. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros As with any internet app, the no restrictions on how many tabs are opened. I use this to be productive on the daily basis. One thing I love the most is that when or if the who screen closes out or has an update, it always provides me with options to restore the previous tabs...all of them, and it's amazing! #### Cons Nothing out of the blue, honestly it is similar to google, but probably still does not provide the amount of security google might. #### Reasons for switching to Microsoft Edge I did not want to - I switched laptops, and though this is the main OS on this Lenovo device, and I can always download the google app, but I've not because the integration and ease of use on this isn't bad at all. I just noticed I used Google app for everything, but am always up for trying something new, so it hasn't been all bad. --- ### Simple yet Powerful - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Joseph T. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Events Services - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: June 2025 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. A great web browser with nice extra features. It can be both simple and powerful. Compatibility with addons is great, and the collection system is a great tool to save articles for later #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Simple but yet very powerful. If you only need something to browse on the internet, you can, if you want a too to access AI, to save article for late, compatible with many plugins, it check all thoses boxes #### Cons On rare occasion, it can be buggy. Sometimes, it doesn't retrieve our last saved tabs which is not good #### Reasons for switching to Microsoft Edge Intergration and simplicity of Edge as default browser help me make my move --- ### Best Broweser for smooth and crashfree expereince - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Nischal N. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Education Management - Company size: 10000+ employees - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: May 2025 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered My experience with Microsoft Edge has been great. It’s fast, smooth, and stable, even with many tabs open. However, the design could use improvements to match its great performance. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Microsoft Edge is extremely fast and reliable. It handles multiple tabs seamlessly without lagging, making browsing a smooth experience. It’s well-optimized and rarely crashes. #### Cons The design feels a bit outdated. While functional, it lacks a modern, user-friendly interface that could enhance the overall experience. More design polish is needed for a better look. #### Reasons for switching to Microsoft Edge Chrome was lagging and was taking a lot of resources on my PC --- ### Great to Use,Great for company software - Overall rating: 4/5 - Reviewer: Verified Reviewer - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Banking - Company size: 1001-5000 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for less than 2 years - Reviewed: March 2026 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically.
