Undoubtedly Microsoft Edge is one of the best internet browser available with many unique features under its sleeve. If privacy is your priority then Edge is the most secure option for you even if in the past you have vowed to stay away from Microsoft internet browser.

Fast and stable, having used various browsers I have found that Microsoft edge consumes comparatively lesser RAM even when multi tasking. Robust privacy features like blocking trackers. Many websites rely on trackers to gather data about your internet browsing . At my office, we always have the Strict option enabled to prevent tracking of our browsing data. This is a great feature for enterprise use. Ability to use extensions in private mode, I could never do this with google chrome. Web capture is something that I use almost every day and this built in feature lets you take screenshots quickly without relying on extensions or other software. Smart screen security. This is a great built-in feature that warns you about suspicious websites. Additionally, when you try to download any types of executable files from website and the smart screen feature analyses the download and it will immediately terminate the download if found to be from malicious in nature. Read aloud s the coolest feature on Microsoft edge. It can read aloud any web pages and even pdf files and you can choose the accent of your choice to listen. Password manager is much advanced than Google Chrome, Microsoft edge can suggest you stronger passwords and seamlessly store and sync them This way you don't have to use another password manager software.

Been using it for two years in office and personal computer for almost 2 years now. Haven't come across any Cons worth mentioning.

For my laptop , Microsoft edge is top choice, due to simple interface. Sometimes it takes little bit times to load but its acceptable. As a primary browser, it needs to improve extension store. I found it interesting for some tools like taking screenshot, natural reading mode.

Very fast and simple interface , helps me to use it with ease. Privacy and password saving option is very updated.In tab section, I can easily make tab group according to topic categories, which save my time to find relatable tabs.Immerse reader mode i found interesting , voice used in this section is more natural than others.Taking full page screen shot by only scrolling without help of external tools is very useful for me.

Main limitation I found it has less extension than other web browsers. loading time takes some time , it performs letter okey.

I would compare it favorably to having a full frontal lobotomy.

It integrated Chrome plugins OK. The Chromium base does help it work with the things you'd like to use it for.

If I understand correctly, Macroswift (Mycroswaffed?) set it up uniquely to be able to take care of the full hardware capabilities of your machine and forces other browsers to make do with the leftovers. Edge can go in a dark corner and do unpleasant things to itself.It also sucked for feedback for web development.

Very positive in terms of workflow and organisation as well as integration with Microsoft's other apps, such as Office 365, OneDrive, etc.

Workspaces. without a doubt this is the single best thing about Edge for my workflow. As a web developer, I have many pages open at the same time and trying to locate the page I want can be a nightmare. Workspaces makes this so much easier.

The integrated search engine, Bing. It's getting better, but there's a long way to catch up to Google, in terms of search results and their presentation on the page.

Sometimes certain web elements, scripts, etc won't work in Edge. I also don't 100% trust that my data isn't being harvested and resold to other third-parties.

The fact that Edge comes preinstalled on any windows operating system the UI make-over would be a nice addition and would definitely create traction. Borrow a few pages from Vivaldi user interface and theme and see huge jump in user base.

The inclusion of side bar is the one reason I used Edge the other is the inclusion of auto translate of web pages.

The user interface is a turnoff and feels outdated for such a powerful browser.

A really big improvement from Microsoft. It runs smooth and I found no issues with website compatibility.

There is nothing I dislike about Mircosoft Edge. It is on par with the best browsers out there.

This time Microsoft has launched the EDGE ending the legacy of Internet Explorer which has ruled the indusrty from many years from Windows 3.1 to now. . . Edge is very modernly designed pakage to offer the needs on tiuch and key padd enabled devices.

Microsoft Edge is set up to work really nicely on Microsoft computers, or pretty much anything other than Apple products. As a browser, it's pretty good. Decent search engine and ad blocking. Much better than Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Edge does seem a littler slower than other existing browsers. The User Interface could be adjusted to be a little more aesthetic/modern. Microsoft Edge is not my preferred browser to use, but since it pairs nicely with Microsoft products, it is usually my second choice when working with computers. I would not recommend it on mobile devices, and prefer the setup of other browsers on those.

Microsoft Edge is very excellent replacement of Internet Explorer launched by Microsoft. Due to its good speed, and easy integration of other softwares, I do not feel the need of installing a separate web browser to my windows.

The private browsing mode is also very effective in evading cookies. Also it provies improved privacy due to its superb tracking prevention mechanism. Microsoft has worked a lot to integrate good playback tools in Edge. It also supports alot of third party software loke pdf reader, etc and work flawlessly with them. Along with its own plug-ins, it also support extensions offered in Chrome extensions store. Though its default search engine is bing but you can change it to Google easily.

Microsoft Edge has high system requirements, which means that it won't work on low end devices, but other than that I haven't encountered any hurdles while using it till now.

The core is Chromium but Microsoft have created a bunch of new functionalities like screnshot or data capture that are very useful.

Ram consumption is high. The integration with news are a bit annoying for me.

Furthermore, I open PDF files such as reports, memos, and letters, using Microsoft Edge because it is very compatible with that file type.

Although, Microsoft Edge an efficient web browser, it has some disadvantages. One disadvantage is that it does not have a lot of features such as extensions and plug-ins. Another disadvantage is that I get a lot of error messages, when I try to open collaboration websites like Blackboard Collaborate, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams in Microsoft Edge. In most cases, I get an error message that says that my browser is outdated, even though I have the latest version of the web browser.

I remember after the IE debacle over the years, I told a friend of mine: never will I be using a Microsoft browser again. I guess I was wrong! It's crazy how much Microsoft has worked on Edge to make it such an enjoyable piece of software to use to navigate on the internet. Since my company has optimized its personal tools to work with Edge (since it's pre-installed on Windows PC), I was forced to use it for overall browsing purposes and I do not regret it. There are however still websites that aren't optimized for it yet.

Software optimization. It might look stupid to some, but other browsers eat up so many resources/RAM. In comparison, I feel Edge has the edge. In the end, for a tool that is being used so much on a regular basis and with many tabs and windows open, it should be the primary aspect that is being considered.

There isn't something specific to Edge that I heavily disliked. The only real issue I have is with web developers that are failing to also optimize their websites for Edge. I have this issue specifically for a CRM tool and when I want to use it I need to switch to another browser.

Microsoft Edge is the very important core of my small business. From my booking program to billing clients I need many tabs open at once and its super important that everything is running quickly and efficiently, Microsoft edge does exactly that :)

Its super quick to open saved tabs and get to websites that I need to get to at the touch of a fingertip! definitely better than other browsers i've used

Overall, still recommend this product from microsoft especially if you're using and patronizing their other products, you gotta use Edge because it integrate with other Microsoft products well.

I've been using both Edge and Google currently and I can say that both features are alike, I mean they work and do what they're intended to do just the same but most people are probably more familiar with Chrome, have use it first and doesn't know about the new alternative, which is the Microsoft Edge. From my experience I can tell a few difference from the two if you're having a problem with Chrome and looking for other alternatives. There features are almost the same like bookmarks, adblockers, search engine etc.. but when it comes to extension I gotta say that Chrome has more edge but Edge require less Ram so some might consider it.

Their is really no big issue in Microsoft Edge, it's fine but need to do better in order to exceed the competitors.
