Honestly i think it’s better than the other engines. It’s user friendly and has a good speed. Now they also have built in reader mode which is honestly the best thing.

Better than most of its competitors

Overall, if you don’t look the ‘desktop site’ glitch or con, it’s a very good and infact one of the best searching apps.

Pros:
As compared to other search apps, Safari gives a more premium experience with smoothness and user friendly features. With all the tabs sections clean and tidy.
Cons:
It sometimes cannot open desktop site for certain website which causes me to shift to chrome or other search apps.

Reasons for switching to Safari

I switched from an android to a IPhone so I had to switch the search engine as well. I was not familiar to it in the beginning but gradually I learnt.

Works Seamlessly between devices!

My overall experience with Safari has been positive. It's easy to use and offers many features that other web browsers don't offer.

Pros:
When using a new program, I want to be able to use it on all of my devices. Safari is one of those browsers that works seamlessly with all my Apple products. Once signed in, I can access all my web pages and login information. I also like that the design is minimalistic and very easy to use. The handoff feature for continuing web browsing between devices is one of the main reasons I use Safari.
Cons:
The one thing I do not like about Safari is you are not able to access it on other devices made from other companies. It also lacks some extensions I used when I used Chrome.

An Internet browser with strong points in security

Safari provides a simple yet secure Internet experience. Again, as security is important to me, I prefer this simplicity and peace of mind.

The security and privacy fences are all in the right places and overall good, at least when compared with Chrome or Edge. Third party cookie blocking comes by default preventing the user information to go to unintended parties. Extensions come only from trusted developers. This may be seen as a disadvantage, but to me is important to trust the software I use. Safari is also really good at preventing cross-site tracking.
Cons:
Sometimes the excessive security comes at a cost: personalized experiences and recommendations when shopping maybe affected. A minor inconvenience considering the level of security. Another major con is that it is Apple centric. If you live outside of the Apple ecosystem you cannot use it, as there there are no Windows or Linux versions.

Great experience for years

Over all my experience with Safari is great! It’s easy to use, and I use it on almost all of my devices (iPhone, iPad mostly). I can’t use it on my laptop since it’s not Apple but I would rather use my iPad Pro and Safari than to use anything else.

Apple and Safari are my preferred computer and browser. I like how easy it is to use and it’s set up so perfectly on making it easier to connect all Apple things together.
Cons:
Probably just the only downside is that Apple isn’t interchangeable but yet at the same time it’s possible to make almost anything Apple work with other non-Apple applications. But still has its moments where you just have to go to another browser to finish your task. Like when I’m entering grades (I’m a teacher), when I finalize my grades I have to log into another Browser to print report cards. I can do everything else except that. Maybe it’s the Grading application but it’s just a little annoying when you’re in a work flow and you have to go log in somewhere else. But it’s worth it to me for Apple.
