If you use a Mac or an iPhone, Safari is very lightweight: it makes your battery last much longer than Chrome and doesn't slow down your device. Plus, it automatically blocks ads from tracking you online, without you having to change any settings. - Compared to Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, the full-screen management is much more reliable. When I’m in full-screen mode on Chrome, I can only switch to the next tab if I exit the window. - I like the fact its privacy features like Private browsing, Tracking Prevention, IP address masking, and integration with Apple Apps. ### Most mentioned cons - I feel like Safari has fallen behind in terms of convenience capability of a search engine. - It sometimes cannot open desktop site for certain website which causes me to shift to chrome or other search apps. - To me it seems to bug and get slower more often than Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. ## Safari customer reviews Showing reviews 1-25 of 317 (page 1). ### Safari: Another of Apples innovative Products to date - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Kwang Y. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Computer & Network Security - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years - Reviewed: May 2026 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Honestly? As a girl who is always on her phone and Mac, Safari is like that low-maintenance best friend you can always count on. My absolute favorite thing is that it doesn't kill my battery. I can scroll, shop, and watch videos for hours without my phone getting super hot or dying on me. It’s just so smooth and clean, and I love that it automatically blocks those annoying ads that try to track what I'm looking at. Plus, if I'm reading an article on my iPhone, I can open my Mac and it's right there waiting for me. It just works. The only thing that bugs me? It can be a bit boring because you can't really customize it. On Chrome, you can add cute themes or tons of useful little extensions, but Safari's store is pretty empty. Also, if you use a Windows PC at work or school, you can't sync your passwords or tabs there, which is a bit of a pain. But overall? For daily life, it’s super fast, neat, and keeps my battery alive. I wouldn't trade it! #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros What I like most about Safari is how it saves your battery. If you use a Mac or an iPhone, Safari is very lightweight: it makes your battery last much longer than Chrome and doesn't slow down your device. Plus, it automatically blocks ads from tracking you online, without you having to change any settings. #### Cons What I like least about Safari is the lack of extensions. Compared to Google Chrome, Safari has very few extra tools, add-ons, or plugins that you can download. If you like to heavily customize your browser with special productivity tools, ad-blockers, or developer features, Safari can feel very limited. --- ### Master Reviewer - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Mike F. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Food & Beverages - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: May 2026 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. No incentive was offered In my opinion, it is one of the fastest and best optimized browsers I have tried, it has very few features, but what it does have it does well. It is a browser that will keep you protected and will never let you down. It is an excellent browser, highly recommended. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros Safari is Apple's official browser, therefore its entire relationship with the Apple system is a point to take into account, because the integration it has with all other Apple services is incredible and unique. The browser is simple and intuitive, it doesn't have a great interface, but it doesn't have much padding, it's a direct browser, it gives you what you need and what it promises, it has the tools you need and nothing else; It doesn't get complicated by giving you many customization options, it's a complete browser that is already assembled and perfectly optimized. In terms of search speed, the speed is good, on any device, in addition, the extension system is great, and the security that offers you when browsing is very necessary. In conclusion, it is a great browser that fulfills everything it promises. #### Cons It is a browser with very few bugs, it has few functionalities, but the ones it does have, it performs well. Perhaps the only negative point is the interface, which, at the cost of gaining simplicity and speed, seems a bit bland to me, but in general, it is an almost perfect browser. --- ### A perfect browser - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Ratulovszky B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Computer Software - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for more than 2 years - Reviewed: September 2022 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically.
