Budgetly has been fantastic. Their Support team is very professional and flexible, providing ongoing training and support whenever we need it. I definitely recommend them to anyone using petty cash cards.

We were previously using Vascoe Pay cards (petty cash cards) and our staff couldn’t upload receipts with these. This meant we had to send a report to staff each month and then reconcile everything manually, however sometimes transactions were missing if they hadn't settled yet etc. Budgetly now allows our staff to upload receipts immediately via the app and we have real-time reporting on everything. We've saved at least a day a month in admin work and even more for our teams.

It would be helpful to be able to select certain date ranges when syncing transactions to Xero.

Before Budgetly, we had about a dozen credit cards and a centralised spreadsheet. Each month, we were meant to fill it out with each transaction (how much, what it was for etc.), however our Accounts team usually had to chase up multiple people with missing information every month. We don't have to worry about any of that anymore

Given how flexible Budgetly is, users now don’t have to worry about manually filling in spreadsheets and we’ve saved a lot of time on admin work. Staff were often sharing cards etc however we don't have to worry about card security anymore. We've also saved at least a day a month in admin work.

I honestly can't think of anything we don't like about Budgetly.

Our experience with this software has been positive overall.

Budgetly offered a simple deployment process and came packaged with the features we identified as a need.

The documentation left something to be desired but our users are now adept with the software.

We needed approval for spending from directors before Budgetly. Booking flights and accommodation is much easier now and no more reimbursements for personal spending

Saved time and a lot of hassle, particularly with flights. BPAY and direct transfers were very time-consuming. No more resistance with medical services. Very responsive and very helpful support. Very client focused

No cons at the moment, it's doing everything we expected

It's been very easy to use and we've had fantastic support, especially when we were getting things set up.

We were looking for an easier way to manage our expenses which we've found with Budgetly. We now have more control over what people can spend, more visibility on what they're spending and less admin work around reimbursements etc.

So far, Budgetly has done everything we need it to do. No real cons at this point.

The support we've received has been great and we're saving a significant amount of time by not having to chase staff/centres for receipts etc.

We have an individual account set up for each of our 15 childcare centres, each with a few cards. Everything is now much more centralised and we can easily see all of our accounts in one spot. Budgetly has saved us at least one day per week, per centre as we no longer have to chase receipts and manually reconcile all of this.

At the moment, there's nothing that we don't like about Budgetly.

We've saved a lot of time with Budgetly! Our staff are now accountable for their spending and it's made our lives a lot easier.

We love that we can issue both physical and virtual cards. Budgetly has meant we have very little journaling to do and our expense management process is a lot easier.

I’d love to be able to amend categories/GST from the transaction menu instead of going into each transaction at a time.

Budgetly has made things so much easier. We can now issue cards and get full visibility over our expense management with a click of a couple of buttons.

Budgetly is absolutely wonderful. It’s amazing to have instant cards when we need them. Had we not moved over to Budgetly, we would still have a time-consuming process wasting time. We wouldn’t have known what was possible and how much better the process could be. No more reconciling and no more dealing with the banks.

I would love to see an integration with QuickBooks.

Budgetly is very user-friendly system. Also, it connects to XERO which save a lot of time in credit card coding and reconciling.

It is a bit more expensive to traditional credit card.

10/10 customer service, we've loved using it.

Having multiple cards now means we can operate in multiple places at the same time without these time delays and had to manually process receipts etc. This is now a lot more efficient and saves us between 1-2 hours each and every day. We get instant access to transactions in the portal, massive time savings and it’s very reasonably priced. Having multiple cards on one account is very handy when there are multiple people out on the road. Being able to top up budgets straight away is perfect as we can get funds to staff when they need it. Budgetly is also really secure and we’re not worried about our funds going missing as the risk of getting scammed etc is a lot lower.

No real cons at the moment, Budgetly does everything we need it to do.

It's been amazing. Their customer service is great with very fast response times, we have full visbility over what we're spending and it's easy to track if our staff haven't uploaded a receipt.

Budgetly allows us to easily capture receipts, monitor the balances on our cards and really understand what we're spending money on. Being able to integrate with Xero has been amazing and their customer service is 10/10. We've saved at least 5-6 hours a week in admin work.

We'd love to be able to utilise an API however we're aware that this is likely something we'll be able to do in future.

As a small school, it was very difficult to get cards with our bank for individuals as they had to be an approved signatory for the actual business account. We tried pre-paid cards for a little bit as well, but these were hard to maintain as it wasn’t straightforward to top them up, hard to get statements etc. A clunky process. This is now such an easy process and a really good fit.

Not having to worry about reimbursements is amazing. we've always had great support, very responsive. The value for us is in the time we’ve saved that means we can focus on other tasks. We’ve saved at least 3 to 4 hours a week.

Nothing major comes to mind, however receipt reminders would be amazing to help chase up staff who haven’t uploaded their receipts yet.

Budgetly has been amazing. We know have transparency over what our staff are spending and no longer have to rely on manually reconciling receipts etc every month. I can call Budgetly straight away and get help as soon as I need it, great customer support.

Ease of access across the platform and no restrictions on who can actually use the cards. Express Post makes it easy to get physical cards in a couple of days and virtual cards are available instantly. We've saved at least 2 days a month in admin work alone.

I'd love to be able to set funds to specific budgets, not from the main bank account. As we have multiple different sources of funds coming in from participants' families etc, this would help provide more information to our clients.

Excellent service and the support is great. I liked that I was given time to play around with the system and get used to it before we got everything set up. All the initial issues with our manual process have been solved and our expense management process is now simple and user-friendly.

Budgetly's taken away the manual handling and the manual approval process we had by simply making the whole process easier. Budgetly has given us great flexibility with purchasing which in turn gave us more control over spending.

There's really nothing that we don't like about Budgetly at the moment.

While we can export reporting to show this, we'd love to be able to track a running total of spend by each budget in the platform.

10/10 customer services, very quick response times. We were using both credit cards and bank cards and had numerous different processes to make this work, however now it’s all so simple through Budgetly.

It takes roughly an hour to reconcile everything now at the end of each month, Budgetly has saved at least 4-5 hours. Auditors often raised not having receipts/evidence which could make this process unnecessarily difficult, however this is no longer a problem

It would be great to select multiple tags from the same Xero tracking categories group at a time.

Budgetly has helped us save money by ensuring staff are sticking to our actual budgets. It’s hard to say how much time we’ve saved, however the whole process being streamlined has saved a lot of it.

Using Budgetly means we can now instantly provide cash to a card and control what our staff spend. It’s easy to upload receipts, the Xero integration makes things a lot easy and it’s much more convenient in general.

So far, there's nothing that Budgetly isn't doing for us. Everything's working how we thought it would.

We've saved at least 10 hours a week in total. We can now use this time to focus on other tasks.

Having all the flexibility and not having to monitor our main account every day. We can top-up quickly and know exactly what’s going on - It’s a set-and-forget now instead of a daily chore. Receipts are also great, it’s a lot easier!

It would be great to have the support line phone number on the website as I couldn’t find this easily.

Simple and easy to understand and use. Really like the dashboard view.

Changing Budgets is straightforward. Everything in one spot. End-of-month reconciliation is much easier than it was before.

Inability for multi level approvals for example expenses to be reviewed and approved by delegate's supervisor.

I have had a few minor issues with the App so far - declined card (which seemed to be a problem for a large proportion of their clients at the time) which happened at the most inopportune time. My phone app showed that I was not affiliated with any accounts (subsequently having access to no money to draw upon). Both my account managers and the help desk showed that I was. Help desk was prompt in helping with the problem.

The program is easy to set up and commence using. Users are allocated specific budgets that they can draw from. Changing between them prior to making purchases is easy. Being able to upload photos of the receipts for accounting purposes is great - all too easy to lose or damage paper copies when on the road.

The notification for uploading receipts immediately after making a purchase has lost the link to the phone camera letting you complete the action from the reminder notice, instead having to use the main app itself.

It is and will improve our productivity in Procurement and is saving time in Accounts Payable to ease of processing compared to manual credit card reconciliations

So far so good, some learning to do but overall happy thus far.

Easy to use from accounting point of view and easy for the user to grasp.Reporting is easier and quicker than the last. Like the pool of funds concept.

I would like, follow up push notification for receipts or a function to ask/remind for them within Budgetly, may to the email addresses. Help menus need help - more advanced in depth help from accounting side. I have look for some answers but was disappoint the topic was not covered or did not really answer my question.
