On at least two occasions, I had to input data from paper backups because the databases failed catastrophically. The software is terribly, fatally unreliable.

Ease of use is the great. Support team is friendly and easy to work with.

Customer service agent  Excels at providing timely feedback to even the most difficult customers me. Is an empathetic and focused listener, identifying out-of-the-box solutions for clients.

The system is easy to use and integrates well with Quickbooks & WorldPac's speed dial. We use most of all of the features that are available.

Great Product at a very fair price for not only the initial investment, but the support & upgrades as well.

Sometimes when we call in with a problem it seems to take longer that others to get a reply for Winworks. Not that they don't call but when we have a major problem it needs to be addressed right then.

User friendly, we  really like the highlighted areas, in new updated program. The text support was very helpful.

Most functions are easy to use, once the user is trained and understands the functions. The customer support is outstanding.

Navigates well and screens are very easy to understand. Gets the job done easily and prints awesome reports/invoices/work orders.

The best thing about this software is that we have Steve available to help us when we run into issues. He is the saving grace for us.

I appreciate integration into Quickbooks for easy AR. It also has multi-tiered pricing so you don't have to worry about your staff trying to figure out 10% discounts for preferred clients.

One of the most powerful tools with any shop software is the ability to build kits or canned jobs to save yourself time on the next job.

We love the ability to go to customer information with ease and not having to look through a lot of files to get there.

Only one email for Invoicing, with multiple users/senders is frustrating when customers respond.

This program offers all the benefits a business needs to run a shop. It calculates profits, losses, overall income and so much more.

Julie in tech support is amazing. The other guys are great as well but Julie has been the one that I have connected with.

There is no spot for SUBLET work. ESTIMATES do not have numbers on them, so when we work on our fleets, multiple ESTIMATES, no # to reference.

This company is the best, could not do it without winworks. Thank you for treating us with such great service.

Now, I get penalized for calling tech support to fix THEIR incompetence.

I would HIGHLY recommend getting on-site training if you have not already, money well spent. Then tech support is best I've dealt with and Steve was absolutely amazing.

They even suggested that we not run Windows update. What a terrible suggestion.

Customer service is top notch as well, customer service agnets are great. As much as I have talked to Steve I'd consider him a friend, haha.

There are multiple terminals allowed, marketing and follow up  options and their customer service is excellent if you run into a question or problem.

Working with r.o writer has been the most difficult part of doing business.

But on very minor issues, they've failed as much as half the time to call me back. Calls to tech support rarely reach someone who can fix your problem.

It's a shame this company took such a bad turn to the worst. After all these years I am actively looking.

The second worst problem is lack of user input. There are several areas in the program that work...but require many extra steps that could be reduced with minor coding additions.

Our experience is GREAT. Customer service is always exceptional, and the product has made our business so much easier to manage.

I am upset that I didn't migrate to Generation 2 sooner.

There are other issues, but the tech support is very bad.

Not only in grosses on sales, but on efficiencies. It makes ordering part very easy and you can compare competitors pricing.

What we like about RO Writer is the ease of use and the ability to navigate through the Software.

I think the number of steps that it takes to close out the repair order when final to pay  is to long , customer gets a little upset sometimes.

After 24 years using R O Writer I have to say this new software is crap. More money and a lot of wasted time getting it to work correctly.

System crashes constantly every day. The Tech Support is the worst.

When there is a windows update it kills your license, not everytime and not on every computer. Database corruption wore us out.

Overall a good and logically laid out program for automotive repair facilities.

My sales and support reps are great and are ready to offer any advice or guidance needed to continue to improve our experience with RO Writer.

Our CPA recommends it also as it is very powerful in that feature. The Support team is awesome.

It truly was the best ever ! it was a money machine, awesome records , tracking of techs, mor reports than you could ever need, inventory control, parts ordering, they had the bases covered.

Constant interuptions in service with NO tech support. Having to wait over 2 weeks for a call back only to have them tell you they have no record of the original call/ problem.

Has text capabilities from Service writer to customer and allows customer to text back for increased approval times;  etc.

Labor guide was not useful. Froze all the time and closed the program out and lost work.

It worked for as long as we used it, easy to use.

It is very user friendly. I would recommend this system to customers and family and friends.

RO Writer is the ideal way to manage your shop. Seamlessly integrates with VirtualVehicle, and Quickbooks.

The scheduler, DVI Suite, matrix gives us the ability to maximize each repair order.

Had a bad experience with Mitchell 1 and would not recommend that to anyone.

That said, we have suffered from constant technical problems over the last several years.

RO Writer tech support has required us to spend a small fortune updating and replacing network hardware(including our server) to fix the technical problems, but the problems were never fixed.

This is an add on feature, but does more to drag this archaic platform into this century than anything else. That said RO Writer functions as a great shop management system in 1999.

The system is well built and is VERY customizable so we can build it more to our everyday use. I like the fact that is integrates World Pac as that is our main parts source.

Very user friendly and great customer support- New user can use this software almost immediately without too many obstacles. Great  and almost seamless integration to QuickBooks.

The ease of creating repair orders and how the flow of the program operated, it is focused for the automotive repair world.

Sales Manager AC is great! showed us the new features for RO Writer and explained them to us. He has great Customer Service.
