My experience has been good with Brave. So far, I have used it for more than 3 years. I am not really thinking about switching from Brave. The only thing that would worry me is if it changes how it operates now, helping you block ads and cookies, and it becomes the same as the other browsers. But since it is better than the other browsers in that regard, I would stick with it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Brave is really the best browser that I have used. and for most people I think it would also be the best browser they can try. Of couse I really dislike other browsers, google specially for obvious reasons, brave is totally foccus on the user rather than other thing.

#### Cons

I haven't really found anything that I dislike about Brave; it is truly my favorite browser. The only thing I could say is that it isn't easy for me to find more information about the Brave Wallet that appears when I open the browser. It looks interesting, but it could include more easily accessible information about it.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

In brave I feel I am in control of what I am doing, rather than being constantly overwelmed by adds and any sort of distractions. Brave feels better in these days.

I've used Brave to close to 5/6 years, and won't be going back to other browsers. It rides on Chrome's system so is very easy to navigate, has a super intuitive layout that resembles Chrome exactly, making it very easy to get used to even when I have started using it. I've found that browsing performance on Brave is stable, and it doesn't really crash much, even when lots of tabs are opened. When rebooting it's also easy to reopen past tabs. Extensions from Google Chrome Store can be downloaded for use directly, which is a plus from other browsers like Firefox.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

privacy and ad-block features, also sync chain that makes data and saved data transfer, bookmarks, and saved passwords especially seamless and easy

#### Cons

it does sometimes have a delay when syncing between old and new devices, certain things such as opened tabs are still unable to be synced across devices

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

Added privacy and ad block feature, and support for innovative products and browser options

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

I've been using Brave as my primary browser for a few years now. I find it fast, stable, and full of useful features. The built-in ad blocker is definitely great—I keep it enabled for all sites, and browsing has become cleaner and faster. I also really like the idea of crypto rewards; they accumulate very slowly, but in the first few years of using it, I managed to earn a few dozen euros by exchanging them a bit. Highly recommended!

#### Cons

Nothing. Sometimes the crypto wallet disconnects, and you need to log in again. It's nothing annoying or blocking, but I thought I'd mention it.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I think that Brave is better, with more functions. I like it more.

### Brave is a good browser especially if you work online a lot.

Brave is a good browser especially if you work online a lot, as you can use its many features and tools without leaving the browser. For example the built in private news feed allows me to not only follow publications, but also customize it with blogs and newsletters I follow. Also, any Brave Search query can be served directly from Brave’s own index, enabling users to benefit from a fully independent search engine that protects your identity.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I used to use a hand-full of browsers, for different types of uses, however, Brave seems to work well with most of the things I use it for so no need to switch browsers. Also, though it does not affect performance, I like how Brave simply serves the customer without any polorizing agendas like you find from Big Tech.

#### Cons

I used to use Vivaldi Browser, and one this Brave does not have in comparison is a Notes app that syncs between the desktop and Android browsers. Otherwise Brave has similar features and more, and they seem to be well desined and better thought out a bit.

#### Reasons for choosing Brave

I seems to work for everything I use it for. Seems fast and smoothe. You get a similar experience both with the Windows and Android, so you don't have to remember the diference of each as it is mostly the same.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I mostly like the business model of Brave, as well as the morals of their CEO.

Overall pretty Good with my limited exploration so far.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

1. Doesn't go overload on the memory while using all work related sites I browse including all Google Business Suit applications, which was usual with time experienced in Chrome/Edge/Firefox earlier.2. As well helps in my basic development scenarios like debug and all, which I do occasionally per situation to help the team.3. Other features I expect from any browser or has it in any browser is present and that's make it all for me this to work well.4. No Ads/No Tracking/Again No Ads due to that is all makes it peaceful.5. In addition it gives you some incentives for popping-up adds [non-disturbing and totally optional]. Not sure how does that hep but I am just trying to see what it is and made it ON for me.

#### Cons

1. Some important URLs you may have browsed some sessions ago and you want it now to have it now, difficult to trace through. Not sure, may be because of privacy feature or what. Sometime feel blank when you need that URL very urgently and you can't jump on like Chrome.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

1. Memory usage over time and difficult behaviour at times.2. Lot of Tracking/Adds may be making it lot of happening in background.

My experience is really good I shifted From chrome to here and I am using this Browser from a long time. I really so much Happy I use that browser. specially I like his Ads blocker ! I can happily watch YouTube Videos but I have one request from brave team, Please Add side bar for quick access to social media Specially WhatsApp Web. #### Ratings breakdown

#### Cons

I really love that browser but there is something missing feature. brave are good but there is feature missing is WhatsApp Web. If you see Opera Browser it's have special windows for WhatsApp Web. Which we can minimize and Maximize any time. So I think if brave browser team add some side bar for social media like Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp then may be this is the one of the best browser I ever Used!

#### Reasons for choosing Brave

I choose brave because it's Fast , Secure and its have TOR feature!

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I'm happy with Brave. It has all the features needed in this ad-filled world. Feels good to be able to browse with fewer ads. Integration into my workflow was easy.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The biggest factor to Brave's advantage is it's privacy and ad blocker. It stops non-essential cookies and vastly reduces the number of ads you see on a daily basis. It has all features of a browser, and it works the same as Chrome, functionally. Easy to download and install. Mobile version is optimised for continuity between platforms.

#### Cons

The whole concept of BAT is not very easy to understand for most users. It also requires a decentralised wallet to collect, and a high amount is required to cash out. It's also quite RAM hungry, as it's made with Chromium framework just like Chrome.

#### Reasons for choosing Brave

Seamless on boarding, as it is visually fully similar to Chrome, the most used browser. Vivaldi and Firefox may take some getting used to for users.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

Chrome does not have native ad blocking.

Using Brave makes the interntet experience a lot better by blocking tracking and ads as a default. By putting the needs af the user and privacy in the center, it just makes for an overall better experience of browsing.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love that Brave comes equiped with very good ad and tracking blocking as default, which contrasts with having to install countless diferent add-ons on competitor browsers. I also doesn't ask the user to log in the browser or create an account, instead opting for a more elegant way of syncing all devices. In terms of design, Brave is very modern and non-intrusive, which is all anyone needs from a browser. I also love the fact that Brave is natively crypto-friendly, offering ENS domain resolution and a good browser wallet.

#### Cons

I don't have any critical complaints about Brave. The only, very minor thing I could mention is maybe not allowing a lot of costumization in the new tab page.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

Browser offers better native ad and tracking features, doesn't require me to create and be logged in an account. It also works better with crypto browser extensions than Firefox.

#### Pros

First I heard and started using Brave because of its ads blocker feature. You can access any website you want, without suspicious and unwanted ads popping up. After exploring the browser in-depth I realized there are even more advantages like being one of the safest browsers while in private mode, thanks to its built-in Shields for cookies, trackers, etc., built-in free VPN, and Firewall.

#### Cons

What I found that can be improved is the syncing feature, when I tried to sync the have account on my PC and 2 phones (Android and iPhone) sometimes not all bookmarks are updated accordingly.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

Brave is safer than Opera and for its ad blockers.

My overall experience with Brave Browser is excellent.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The best thing about Brave Browser is that it does not slow down the PC even if we open many tabs simultaneously. Another good thing is that it has an inbuilt ad blocker which works perfectly and blocks many harmful and annoying ads in websites. Also, there is a feature which enables a user to get paid in cryptocurrency which is a unique feature and is not available in other commonly used browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox. Also, webpages can be easily bookmarked so that we can come back to it later. Another good thing is that the user interface of the browser is simple and easy to use. Also, the browser offers a lot of customization.

#### Cons

I did not find anything bad about Brave Browser.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I made the switch because Google Chrome Browser slows down my laptop and also overheats it. So, I turned to Brave Browser.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It is known that websites attempt to build a profile of you as a visitor to identify you. This is called browser fingerprinting and sites collect as much info as they can so that they can know who you are in a broad sense. Although fingerprints can be used in legitimate ways, they are often used to track activity across web sites and collect info about user's habits. Brave is designed with this in mind introducing noise to create unique fingerprints so websites won't be able to track you. It does this via Brave Shields, which blocks attempts to fingerprint, blocks ads and scripts that might be malicious. I still pair it with uBlock Origin, HTTPS everywhere, privacy badger and NoScript. It includes a simple version of a Tor browser, which might be okay for some light browsing on the dark web. Remember that just using a Tor browser isn't enough to browse securely.

#### Cons

The thing I like the least about Brave is that they push their cryptocurrency via their browser, which you obtain by letting the browser show you private ads. At least this is an optional feature. Integration with the mobile version of Brave isn't as good as with other browsers, it sometimes won't sync immediately. As when using privacy extensions in the browser, you have to get used to websites malfunctioning. This isn't entirely on Brave as it typically means the site is not built appropriately, but it will mean that you have to bring the Shields down (at your own risk) if you want to continue browsing that site.

#### Cons

Private browsing on mobile seems to be a bit of a miss. If you are logged into a page and close the page, then reopen you are still logged in. This is not the case for Safari and other privacy focused browsers. Extensions can also be a hit/miss compared to chrome.

Brave is one of the best chromium based browser and its user base is growing rapidly. It is backed by BAT crypto and has implemented some of the unique features not found in other browsers.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I have been using brave browser for more than 2 years now and found it one of the best chromium based browser. Here are some of the features I liked the most about this browser. 1. It is an ad-free browser which has an in-build ad-blocker for seamless navigation of the web pages. However, there are limited number of ads that are displayed with the consent of the users by the browser itself. 2. The browser helps you earn BAT (Basic Attention Token) which is a cryptocurrency and once you use the browser and view browser based ads, these tokens start accumulating in your account as reward which can be later redeemed using uphold crypto wallet. 3. #### Pros

Brave has been my favorite browser since I switched over from Chrome a couple of years ago. Overall, I find it not only faster but helps conserve the battery life of my device as it optimizes browsing. Additionally, Brave blocks cross-site trackers and blocks fingerprint scripts. It provides more security than other popular browsers as well through brave shields and advanced privacy protection.

#### Cons

Over the past couple of years, there have been maybe 6 total instances in which Brave froze on me and refused to work. It's very rare, but when it does happen, it just doesn't work at all for a bit.

#### Reasons for switching to Brave

I wanted better security and privacy.
