For the time I had an account I never used it because it was frustrating and difficult to figure out HOW to... after I quit, the customer support was good at reaching out to me to ask why.

Sometimes the messages that you get about backups can be misleading. It will say that you have a certain amount set for backup, and sometimes it will be a number that seems really low.

Overall, the potential for the program, and the idea seems great. But unless you have a huge bandwidth or pay for extra it's difficult to use for a some business owner like myself.

Easy to use back-up plan, but upload speeds could be better.

Ability to set backup frequency and retention policies. Customer service is outstanding.

I liked what I saw, did some research, and decided to jump. It was money worth spent especially for the peace of mind it brought for protecting my files, pictures, and music.

Overall I think it's a great price and great product. Once setup, runs quietly and consistently in the background.

The CrashPlan administrative portal is fairly easy to use, and it has many great features.

I get a simple email telling me if the backup was successful or not. I recently had to use their customer support and their instructions were PERFECT.

Which it did for me when my iMac died and the restore I did from my Apple TimeMachine backup was incomplete. I had lost a bunch of files.

There is no easy way to cancel. I had to keep disputing charges with my bank until they cut off my account.

Data de-duplication seems to backup lots of files efficiently even if you re-organize your folder structures. Upload and download speeds are generally good.

The ease of use for deployment of the application to a laptop and or desktop is seamless. The dashboard is very easy to use and has useful information right on the main page.

Every time I have looked into this with support, it has turned out that the correct amount WAS set for backup, but I believe the email went out mid backup, and therefore gave a misleading message.

I used Crashplan for several years and found it to be an excellent reliable product.

For the price it's one of the best offsite backup services. Speed seemed fine as long as you have a good connection.

Worse still, if you move or delete a large number of files in a short time the app treats your computer as a new device and starts charging you for two devices resulting in being charged double.

Strong encryption, compression and an easy to use interface make using the client a pleasure. Documentation is very detailed and easy to read and follow along.

We have been using CrashPlan for almost 3 years now and it continues to impress as an endpoint backup solution. The true beauty of it lies in its stealth, simplicity and reliability.

Overall though, I love CrashPlan, and recommend it to many people.

It is a good back up system overall and has a free version. It can back up an entire network from a windows server.

I can save all my files, images, and videos on iCloud and get peace of mind that they are secure. Plus, I can easily share them with others.

Apple customer support is just the best, they really try to help you with whatever they can and they have helped me restore my password to my account that had all my data.

I love that iCloud has the ability to save our data that we want to share with other people in our field. Safe and easy to use, iCloud is the way to go.

Without paying iCloud users are limited to 5gb storage. But if someone need more space must pay for it but isn't expensive.

It is very good for backing up your data and from moving your data from one iPhone device to another. The customer service is also a great deal for me and I honestly give them 5 stars for that.

The fact that if you don't use it you have a notification in your system preferences all the time and it's annoying.

I love I cloud its great for storage and thankfully upgrading is super cheap which is amazing so I don't have to delete my pictures anymore.

It is not compatible with Android and other operating systems, and if your data is out of sync and moved, it can be lost.

The feature or thing that I dislike about the iCloud is the fact that it is a bit difficult to set up.

I like how seamlessly iCloud integrates with the Apple suite of products and services. If you have an iPhone, which most do, it is the most natural and inexpensive way to secure your data.

It integrates really well with iOS, it's fast, i enjoy the look and feel and has decent pricing.

Ve always thought that it’s a great service and I’ve never had anything but positive experiences with it. Even when they upgrade and change things, it’s just getting better and better.

Ability to sync all files from all devices. Web-based UI at icloud.com so you can access your Apple Ecosystem from any browser.

So if you use for example Windows and Mac Computers or an Android and an iOS smartphone, there is no way to use iCloud without any issues.

It's a great storage solution for our devices with an outstanding cost point per user.

Not only is it simple to use and maneuver through the app, it’s very useful and helpful. All of my photos and important files are safely stored away until needed.

Compared to other cloud services, I find iCloud to lack features compared to dropbox, and google cloud.

Apple is excellent with all their products and this is another successful software especially for storage.

CrashPlan is a cloud-based application that works as a storage platform. It can be operated from any internet connection at a given point in time. It keeps a continuous backup of all the files that are in the home directory of a campus based system. The data classification offered by CrashPlan is the maximum of "Restricted".


The software also provides restoring platforms from either a client’s workstation or the CrashPlan website. For activation of the software, a user only has to login to the app using their BearID and password. As soon as the user logs in, CrashPlan starts creating backup of all the files in the system.
