Over billing and taking forever to get refunded, horrible customer service-they treat you badly and are only available short hours for monetary issues. They purposely hang up on you and avoid calls.

Overall- I love this system and need more training. I love that I can view my day from any device with the internet.

Customer service is so helpful. They remote in and show you step by step.

Overall experience has been very good and the customer support has been amazingly and surprisingly good.

I also love the dashboard, it shows what claims need to be worked on and helps keep the team on track.

We've had a great experience with Dentrix Ascend and even worked to integrate the platform with several other practices.

Dentrix ascend is missing some of the key components of traditional dentrix.

It's not horrible and I'm not completely dissatisfied, but it has been disappointing.

I like the ease of use...meaning it's easy to navigate. Simplified version of their more complex server-based Software.

When things are broke or not working minimum 24-48 hours to fix.

The software has done exactly what we need and they continually are releasing new features that make the software more reliable. I love that it is all cloud based and we don't need a local server.

Tricky to use, inability to add templates, referral processes.

The support with Dentrix has been great. The response is almost immediate and very helpful.

The cloud based platform makes for a great integration between multiple locations. The interface is practical and laid out well (once your are adjusted to it).

Online scheduling never worked properly/ MANY ERRORS in scheduling/ double booking/ and we have now disabled.

It is a beautiful visual for patients, and my doctor likes the cloud base storage.

Building the report needed is time consuming and confusing. Of all the complicated things you can do with Ascend, electronic billing isn't one of them.

We have two dental practices with a lot of patient overlap and this is so much better than our old software. Very user friendly and easy to access from anywhere.

I like most of the updates but dislike every update we run into an issue. I dislike that it gives error messages a lot.

This is by far our favorite dental practice management software, and we use and support all of them. The cost is fair as well.

Best of all, their customer service is easily reachable by several different options and is fast and fantastic.

I would definitely recommend this software. I know that is integrated quite easily with our existing digital xray system though I was not involved in getting that set up.

This software is not easy to use or user-friendly, it's  a little frustrating if you have to switch screens and remember info from other areas, X-rays are not transferable.

You can run a Query (custom report) for just about any possible scenario, and save it as a favorite for future use.

They spent hours remotely working on my machine and escalated it to their top techies. And it was really a problem with Windows  not  Open Dental that caused the problem.
