Clarity Gave Me Full Access & Control of My Project.

PROS

First of all, they all worked. They all did what we wanted them to do. Again, it kind of goes back to the style of working and being able to roll up my sleeves and get in and work alongside the developers. All the developers I worked with, the entire team at Clarity, whether it was the graphics designer, front-end developers, back-end developers when we needed them, the account manager, the executive team, basically everybody at Clarity was awesome. The LDR medical education programs that we had was most definitely where we saw some huge problems that needed to be addressed. The Clarity portal facilitated the process to the point where we almost got overwhelmed regarding the program's effectiveness and setting up programs using their new solution. The challenge we had before was that we were working with a global salesforce who, as we all know, is always very eager to move fast with their customers and get things done for them so that they can really build those relationships. But there were some legal constraints out there dictating how these types of programs can be developed and implemented. The solution that we did with Clarity, which is entirely custom, allowed us to kind of stem the flow of the sales spontaneity if I want to call it that, of short-circuiting the process or trying to get things done in a way that may have actually been either illegal or borderline unethical. Not that that was a conscious thing on their part, but it was something that could easily happen

CONS

I'm sure there were some things that were challenging, but nothing that was sort of like, well, too bad you've got this now. You have to deal with it. Some of the things that were negative during the processes were related to unknown compatibility issues that we just had to kind of wait and see how it was going to work. We vetted and implemented a lot of different modules on the site, and some of those modules, as we implement them, didn't work exactly the way we wanted to. Most of the time, we were able to fix it with a sort of custom patch, but sometimes we had to reverse course and go back and select a different module for the functionality.

Reason for choosing Clarity eCommerce

I knew from the beginning when vetting vendors that I wanted to work with someone local in Austin just because of my personal bias to being very hands on. I like meeting people face to face, so I had a preference for a local team, but I did vet some companies from both coasts in the U.S. as well as a couple of other teams from Austin as well. So that entire process, I probably spent about four months on that and going through the list and literally calling them up and seeing how things went. Some people wouldn't return a call and they were off the list. Other folks, like Clarity were extremely responsive and very open to finding time to meet with me during that vetting process, when when it was convenient for myself and my team. So during that process, of course, anyone who's gone through vetting vendors has probably had the same experience as I have, which is, that the worst vendor you can hire would be one we would have to train them to do their job. And I've literally had to do that with some vendors that I'd poorly chose. So one thing I look for, for certain, that Clarity was able to immediately check in the box was that they knew what they were doing. They had all the relevant experience. The meeting, the communication and the team was a very straightforward choice. You know, it probably didn't hurt that the [SENSITIVE CONTENT]was literally a rocket scientist. Yeah, that was definitely a plus in an anecdotal or emotional way. But, you know, it was fairly straightforward to end

Once you find a development company that helps you grow your business, you stick with them...

Not only did they design and build us a portal and website, they made it easy so our employees could log into the employee portal from the website in which client Clarity Ventures developed. They added in our HR and Payroll so that our employees could see their benefits. They could see the learning management system or LMS so that they can maintain their continued education units. They also were able to see training tools, technology, their territory, monthly newsletters and more. They were very large projects that were going over the space of 10 years in our relationship, in not only developing it but also managing it and also ongoing updates across various versions of it.

PROS

I would say the usability. It was very user-friendly. I would get calls from capital investment companies, quite often, assuming that we were a franchise. We're not a franchise, so therefore, having investors from the outside coming to purchase us and then indicate that they thought we were a franchise said a lot about the quality and the professionalism of the site, the user-friendly nature of the site for people who were not aware of the services in which we provided but they were capital investors looking for companies to invest in and to acquire. Part of their due diligence is finding companies that are in our space. We were just north of a million and a half to south of 2 million. Therefore, they were looking to acquire companies like us and for them to say all those things to us doing their search of acquiring a healthcare company in the State of Illinois meant a lot. They made it easy so our employees could log into the employee portal from the website in which client Clarity Ventures developed. CONS

Honestly, if I ever heard a problem with anything as it relates to administration of the software or usability from an employee perspective of the software, I would just reach out to my point of contact, [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. He would refer back to me with a solution or a remedy that maybe I just didn't realize. I'd never, honestly, during our 10 plus year relationship ever have to deal with anything that was not done in a timely manner and their response time was never more than a day in the life of business.

Reasons for switching to Clarity eCommerce

We were using Cold Fusion before, but couldn’t get it to work for us. We also couldn’t find a developer that could optimize it to drive traffic to our business.

The Worst - Find Something Else

They will underbid, oversell, and give you nothing but smoke and mirrors. The platform does not work as promised and they are unapologetic about it. Absolutely the worst experience working with a web development company that I have ever had. It is a shady business with a buggy and clunky platform and management with silver tongues.

PROS

The DNN part of the site. The eCommerce platform is terrible.

CONS

Everything. It is absolute torture to try and conduct any business more complicated than selling T-shirts that are only available in one color and one size.

5/5 -Clarity eCommerce is a very good platform, very useful in any different kind of an environment.

Five stars. I'm now quite familiar with their eCommerce platform. I know where Clarity's position is in e-commerce and I know the kinds of corporations and clientele that they deal with. And it is five stars. It’s what you need to have. And I think that Clarity is quite good at this, being both international and local, in the same sort of scale. Working with the Clarity team is actually very effective and very easy now. One thing is that we loved, was that Clarity has a way of setting up both the agendas, scheduling and the timing, and they always met those requirements, and we always appreciated that.

PROS

I have to think about that for a second. I'm more familiar with it now as well. So I think in terms of how it's presented in the whole process going from beginning to end, it's well laid out, very intuitive and it contains sufficient information to take you from one step to the next.

CONS

I have no recollection of anything I didn’t like. I think the software is first class.

Reason for choosing Clarity eCommerce

We looked at a total of six different possibilities, and we worked through that fairly carefully and determined that Clarity was by far and away the best of the options, both in pricing and in terms of the experience that they with regards to our global business needs.

Exceeded Expectations!

Absolutely amazing. Aside from the professional design and professionalism of the site, we immediately saw a significant increase to our online revenue. The site drew interest from investors, and with Clarity’s help, we were able to sell the company.

PROS

Pros: what did you like most about this software? That they jumped in and did the SEO work after they built a phenomenal site. The people are easy to work with. Very friendly, always available. Never did I have a problem getting ahold of somebody when I needed them. The payment options were great. I mean how we paid for the work they did. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen or heard of another company do payment terms like they do. Finally, the quality and the final product were outstanding.

CONS

Cons: what did you like least about this software? I can’t think of anything, and I’ve been thinking about this question for days and can’t come up with anything.

Reasons for switching to Clarity eCommerce

We did. We went to work one day, and our site had completely crashed and we could not get it working with the vendor that was managing our site. That’s when we went looking and found Clarity.

Great e-Commerce platform customized to meet your company's need

My overall experience with Clarity Ventures was very positive. They very much care about the customer and the product they are providing. There is also a very strong value in what you pay for in development. I would recommend them to any of my peers and would use them again.

PROS

Clarity has a base e-commerce platform that they then will customize to meet your company's needs. The whole company is based in the United States Very customer-driven High standard of integrity Great product Very accessible and invloved in the development process from beginning to end

CONS

Sometimes the development did not move as fast as we would have liked

Reason for choosing Clarity eCommerce

Based in the United states. Very responsive Great value Understood what we needed

Don’t believe a word

They are proficient at making promises they can’t or will not fulfill. It has been over 3-1/2 years and the project isn’t anywhere near being completed.

PROS

Was never completed and so we cannot comment on what we liked

CONS

None. We never saw it work as the project was never completed. Hiring Clarity was the biggest professional mistake of my life.

Reason for choosing Clarity eCommerce

Said they could create a custom site for us quickly. Three and a half years later and there is no sign of it ever being completed. At this point even if they could complete the project, we could never trust them to do anything they said they would do. A costly, painful, horrible experience.

Great tool to have!

PROS

This tool is a must if your already in the eCommerce business or have barely begun. This is a great way to manage all your shipping, vendors, pricing, etc. It clumps up all your details and helps you keep track of everything.

CONS

Honestly, we've just begun using this and as of today we have no complaints whatsoever. We have been very very happy with our results.
