- A lot of basic facilities are not available. Customer Services cannot help with most of the main problems.
- I found out how little i knew and struggled to understand the platform. This was a long time ago but i finally has to switch to another company as it was too confusing.
Pros
- Its a good e commerce platform competing with some big apps. Its from Adobe so providing good services.
- Varnish for caching is a MUST and easy to setup on Magento, that's what I like most, because for big scale projects caching and performance is always required by default.
Cons
- This put us behind schedule with our new store roll out because we ended up wasting time fighting with the system when it didn't seem necessary.
- The process of integration with some external software can be difficult. The first time in Magento was a bit difficult to navigate.
