My overall experience with Cvent Registration has been amazing. Because I am a true Cvent fan, I love every once of detail that is available to third party event planners, like me who have a wide range of clients with very different budgets and audience size. Using the Access Portal is great for clients to see what is happening with their marketing efforts based on registrations in real time. I also like that the registration product is easy to use and if I have any questions, my support team and the community is just an email, chat, or phone call away. I use the Cvent Payments so that clients do not have to sign up for merchant services on their own, if they dont want to. Finally, Cvent Registration has saved my team and I so much time that it is truly giving us much more value than we ever imagined. My clients now request that we manage their events with Cvent! #### Cons There are still some features that are not available or still in beta testing. For my clients who live and die by finanacial reports, I have had to customize reports or send follow up documentation to show how the money on the dashboard matches or does not match what has been deposited into the account. I am excited for the new financial report option that should go live soon. #### Reasons for switching to Cvent Event Management My clients host private events and market only to their personal databases. Having to mark their event private on Eventbrite and still be shown next to their competition did not sit well with me. Eventbrite is great for people or businesses who are marketing to the general public. It offers tons of reports and the individual session scanning works well onsite and provides accurate counts to track event no-shows. The kiosk system is very intuitive in self check in and manual “face to face” modes. Looking at peak live registration numbers over 4 iPads, registration staff were able to easily check in close to 200 attendees in under an hour. Cvent also offers lots of staffing support in the lead up and onsite to ensure a smooth rollout and use. #### Cons This software is quite pricey so allocate a healthy budget if you are using this system. I would like AttendeeHub on the computer to look the same as the mobile app. I would also like to be able to customize the look of the page more, mostly being able to make grouping of sessions more obvious like in the session widget in registration. It can contain all your speakers, sponsors and agenda info as well as key information the delegates will need for the event. Knowing how best to implement fonts, colors, where info lives, which buttons to press and where and in how many places. It can all be overwhelming and difficult to learn. You can collect a lot of info and it's fairly simple for an attendee to use on the front end. #### Cons From a UX creator perspective, it can be clunky and difficult to navigate. There is a lot of information that lives in multiple places.
