Consolidating with system upgrades
Excited about the completing the installation process and having 100% functionality.
PROSWe were looking for a better management solution after not having any type of upgrade in over 10 years. The online accessibility for tee-times and prepayment were important as well as the ability to market the course better
CONSWe would like to see additional improvement to have multiple system interfaces.

Agilysys Golf
We have moved to an all Agilysys system for our property management solutions. This has made things easier because we have one company to contact when we have issues with any of our softwares. Agilysys is very good at dealing with any problems we may encounter.
PROSThe software is accessed through a web-based interface, this makes taking care of users easy.
CONSWe had some hiccups getting the software setup to meet our users needs.

GolfPro works but looks dated
We are looking at another system at this time. The complexity of our organization is challenging for any developer to grasp, this system was the best choice at that time.
PROSIt will perform for basic tasks pretty reliably but has some glitches that can't seem to be corrected by the support team. It is fairly easy for new users to learn simple tasks like billing for a single round of play. It allows for multiple users and has numerous reporting features.
CONSThe look of the software feels dated, not attractive to me. Our I/T team has had many issues with it interfacing with newer software programs.

It Just Works
Website interface is nice, just as easy to get what I need from it as the previous one.
CONSReceipts are kind of a pain sometimes, but it may not just on their end

Inconsistent User Management
The application has had a lot of issues. At times it feels like we have a beta product, but the support team has been good as submitting our issues to development for resolution.
PROSAs long as everything is working as designed, user creation is fairly easy and can be done in a few steps.
CONSWhenver we have a software update (which we have had several), the user management gets clunky. We have users set to lock out after 4 invalid login attempts, but sometimes they get locked out at the first attempt. Sometimes it seems that they didn't enter a bad password at all and they get locked out. After the most recent update, when users lock themselves out they don't show as locked out in the user config, so we have to reset their password in order for the user to unlock. This has been reported to development by their support team.
Reasons for switching to Agilysys Golf
Our management team wanted us to have our applications on one platform (hotel, golf, spa).

RGuest Golf
The software integrated with our other software.
CONSThe Rain Check Liability Report has to be ran from the start of when we received the software and does not have names or Rain Check Numbers on it. Also, it locks you out often.
