I have enjoyed working with AuditBoard and watching it grow over the years. They are quite kind and customer-centric.

The most impactful feature for us has been reporting. We can report on how many controls have been tested, policy approval status, compliance effectiveness, issue management - to name a few. The best feature though is the support team that comes with the tool. AB team members really listen to ideas and hurdles and help guide their customers through.

When we first implemented AuditBoard, not all modules "talked" to each other. However, AB listened to our needs, and now everything works together.

The company and software have great potential. I think they are too concerned with selling and growing that they ignore the customer once they are secured.

It is intuitive and easy to work in once it is set up and flowing. It is aesthetically pleasing. They provide a lot of education in the industry.

The education and 101 lessons were hard and defeating. I don't think they properly prepare you to use the product. There was little support from AB after signing the contract. They outsourced the onboarding, and it was subpar.

I have been involved with this tool, since we first started testing, and was instrumental (from an IT perspective) in getting this implemented into our company. I have also been working with the daily support team to be sure they have the tools they need to be successful. I feel like I have a fairly good understanding of the architecture and the support model for the product and company.

The daily working process for audit management is very good. Depending on how the application is configured, you can add different users for different purposes and allow them to see a variety of things. Historical data is fairly easy to capture in dashboards and can be rendered in a variety of ways. Issues are in a separate module, which makes them easy to find and review or reuse as needed.

No global search function for topics, documents, etc. Text editing within the work steps is very limited. Additional functionality for bold text, bullets, etc. would be helpful. Recently, it's been a bit buggy as some functionality has broken as a result of updates, which has caused us some minor pain.

We use AB to manage and track all our operations, SOX and now risk assessment projects. This is an integral part of our operations helps multiple users to work on one project at a time.

The ease and functionality of the program, makes it easy to keep organizations compliant to all the regulations.

Cost and tailoring the product to our needs. The value it adds to the team is worth the cost.

The department likes that AuditBoard is easy to navigate. All users can fumble their way around the platform without any real training and still figure everything out.

Moderate inconvenience items: The archiving file (PY) are not as easy to navigate (a lot of fields are missing in the overall view and you have to click into each individual control to see the fields). The tool requires an excel plug-in, AuditBoard Sync, which requires individual installation on each machine, and requires the user to close out of all Microsoft Products to install. The install fails if files are open. Can be a real headache for IT departments.

I've been using Auditboard for the past 7 years, and it's been a great tool for SOX Compliance. We have established a great relationship with Auditboard, and have always gotten great support from them. With Auditboard, users are able to access documentation with ease. The user interface is extremely user friendly, and easy to navigate.

Narrative integration is great, however, the initial linking is a bit painful and time consuming to do.

The SOXHub module is great to have a centralized bank of controls that can be organized, certified, tested, and reviewed all in one place.

We wish the JIRA integration was better with AuditBoard. Right now, there are significant limits to what you can do to connect JIRA and AuditBoard and have them both sync up in real time.

We implemented Auditboard to move on from excel worksheets and trackers living in a Sharepoint with frequent emails sent internally and to control owners. For our internal audit team, it's entirely changed the way we organize our work, and for the control owners, they have loved the tool because they get their own customized dashboard which tells them exactly what controls they are responsible for, whether there are any issues, and also is the only method that they are sent audit requests.

Version control is no longer an issue. We can share documents across our internal audit, compliance, management, and up to the board with full and complete information. Auditboard has customizable dashboard that we use for reporting that once set up, are easy to refresh at a moments notice for up to date information. The Auditboard support team also listens to their feedback from customers and is constantly working towards adding new features to meet customized needs of each team member and industry.

There is a lot of customization that you can do with this tool which is why it makes it so valuable, but you have to prepare yourself to spend some time learning the ins and outs of the tool. Fortunately, Auditboard offers many web-lessons to educate you on the tool, and the customer service is excellent when you need some additional help.

Since day 1, we have had nothing but a good experience. Customer service is great and the software is very easy to use and learn.

The product is user friendly and easy to access. It is pretty much self explanatory and includes many short videos on "how to" that are easy to understand.

We have not found a major issue with AuditBoard to consider it a Con. If anything, they are improving on options we have brought up in the past such as accommodating to formatting options.

We have certainly reduced the amount of administrative time spent with various features and automations within auditboard. Two-way communication between IA and management has also increased tremendously through Workstream.

The ease of use and automation of previously manual and time consuming tasks has been transformational for our internal audit department. Honestly could not imagine operating without the SOXHUB and OpsAudit modules.

Some of the more recent features related to automation and integration with other software platforms would be great to have; however, the connectivity and dependence of some of these features on having various tiers of packages is confusing and often frustrating.

I am overall very happy with using AuditBoard. I have been using it for over two years!

The UI is the absolute best. The software is incredibly easy to navigate. It's very customizable, and there are sooo many opportunities for automation. I love it!

AuditSync can use some improvements. Sometimes it will say it has saved, but it does not. This could lead to losing hard work.

Great. I've created tickets with their IT team when I need help and will usually get a response same-day.

The dashboards which allow you to view status across businesses.

These were occasional glitches with uploading documentation, but I was able to create a ticket with IT and the team resolved this issue after I recorded my screen and recreated the issue for them.

The AuditBoard implementation team has been extremely helpful and patient listening to our company needs and suggesting appropriate/valuable product solutions.

AuditBoard is helping to streamline our audit procedures across entities for a global company. The tool is going to save hundreds of hours spent on administrative tracking of status, control changes, and reporting.

Simplifying the user and permissions to allow for more specific team based roles that do not have to be customised. For example, we had to create a custom external auditor role as we restrict our external auditor from specific fields.

Lovely people and easy tool to use! When we have issues, we can contact support and have it resolved quickly. Also, when we want a new feature, the presentation is always very clear and helpful.

WorkStream has become super helpful in requesting documents from clients and completing quality reviews. It's easy and notifies the correct people all the time.

The risk assessment is not as clear as I want it. We create and rate each business units, however, it stops there, and doesn't help us plan for what audits should be completed for the upcoming years.

Cross module functionality around connecting audits, controls, & risks. We also enjoy the workflow capabilities to better or interactions & outcomes with stakeholders. Also, the helpdesk is very knowledgeable & timely (which is a rarity compared to some of the other software / applications we use)

Automated Reporting functionally - This area has greatly improved with the introduction & further enhancement of the dashboarding & external database connections

This product is very intuitive and the basic elements can be used with no help or guidance. It helps with collaboration on audits.

There is not a useful RCM functionality and the modules are bought separately but heavily rely on each other so if you just get one (like opsaudit) there are many things you cannot do

This is the first audit software that we have evaluated that feels like it has adapted to current technologies and processes. It is easy to configure and use, with the right amount of customization allowed. Our team quickly adopted the tool and we streamlined our audit process with the OpsAudit module very easily. When we have issues or questions, Support is readily available to help. The web-based functionality is great for our remote team and make local support fairly easy! I would highly recommend the consideration of AuditBoard for your team!

The tiered levels of subscription limit some of the functionality that is available, even some things that don't feel like motivators to upgrade (e.g. utilization of "required" fields, etc.). Some teams don't have the ability or budget to spend more, so in reality, many are limited to the functionality offered at lower tiers. Not a showstopper, but difficult to manage when release notes indicate new functions.

AuditBoard is definitely and upgrade from our previous system. We are still in early stages of implementation and there is definitely more work to be done to fully benefit from the tool

Software is very intuitive to use. Implementation team was very helpful during initial phases. Documenting and reviewing workpapers is much more efficient than it was using our previous system.

System seems to time out frequently without warning. Additionally, we have had issues with access and have been unable to realize as much efficiency as we would like.

I am happy with the vision and capabilities of AuditBoard. The company is dedicated to aligning the product with the needs of the customer. I am excited to see where the product takes us.

AuditBoard is focused on connecting risk across the enterprise be facilitating collaboration amongst stakeholders. There is a high level of customization that allows companies to make the product work for their strategy.

The permission matrix is very complex. As an administrator, I spend a lot of time trying to configure permissions to frame the access I want different levels of users to have. I am grateful for the ability to edit permissions. However, there is a list of 2k+ permissions that are not always easy to identify as the one that impacts the actions I want to implement.
